Now, I will say this was on a Monday night and this place wasn't very busy. However our waitress was lovely and took very good care of us! We got everything from the wanton tacos which are a must! I've ordered to go orders from here a few times. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed each time. I thought the first time with the food being cold and the order incorrect that it was a fluke, so we tried again. This time, I ordered the sirloin, potatoes, and broccoli. I know it wouldn't be the same as if it was served fresh in the restaurant, but I was pretty disappointed again. Waited 20 minutes past my pickup time for the food, which wasn't a big deal. But when I got home (I live 10 minutes away), the food was cold. Steak was not seasoned, cold, impossible to cut, and tasted like dried jerky. The broccoli was over saturated with juice from the steak, and the potatoes were bland. I would recommend going into the restaurant if you go here. I've eaten in the restaurant once and DoorDashed from here many times. Combining all experiences, I give it 3.5 stars. The time I ate in was a weekday afternoon. The place was about half full, and they were able to seat us right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The music was loud enough you could hear it, but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The food came out quick and, as ordered. Delivery is always fairly quick since I live less than a 10 minute drive. There have been a couple of times an item is missing, but generally, they are reliable. My biggest annoyance is for as close as I live somehow at least 1 food item is cold by the time I receive it. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the restaurant not keeping things hot or doordash. Of course I'll probably always keep ordering from here because I'm obsessed with their mozzarella sticks and ranch dressing. read more

On March 1,2026 at 1:57. I came in to pickup an order from the pickup area. I stood there 5 minutes before the Bartender acknowledged that I was there, so I proceeded to dial the restaurant. She answered the phone and I proceeded to let her know that I was there waiting to pickup an order. We had never been to this location so my wife, I, and our 2 year old went here for dinner. We were seated and kept waiting and waiting for a server. During that time our daughter was starting to get bored so we paid $2 for her to play games on the tablet. Still more waiting. 20 minutes after being seated we decided to give it a few more minutes and we'll leave. People that came in after use were already being served and several servers looked at us but ignored us. After a total of 25 minutes we decided to leave but wanted to do the right thing and got the attention of another server and told her no one has seen us and we're leaving but wanted to pay for the tablet use. She said she has to give the money to our server. We said good luck since we haven't seen our server. We gave a $5 bill so were waiting on change. Finally the server came back and said don't worry about paying for it. She then told us the reason we had no service was the server that covered our area didn't show up. We asked then why no one told us, why we were seated in that section, or why they didn't move us. Her answer was simply "The manager didn't know yet that she didn't show. We're working on calling someone in". There was no 'we're sorry' or 'what can we do for you?' We simply walked out then. Will never be back! read more

Living in Maple Grove, this is my eating good in the neighborhood Applebee's! In my one year in Maple Grove I have visited this location twice along with a couple other visits in previous years, each time taking a seat a the bar of course. Now we all know Applebee's food. It's just ok and is what it should be at its price point. My most recent visit I indulged in the endless Shrimp, Rib Tips and, now, Boneless Wings along with fries all for only $12.99. I find this to be a hell of a deal. While the shrimp and the rib tips are sub par the boneless buffalo wings aren't too shabby. I happen to visit during happy hour and was able to enjoy a $5 Long Island, Manhattan and Old Fashioned! They also had $2.85 domestic pounders like Coors Banquet, PBR, Busch Light and Grain Belt Premium. Again, hell of a good deal. Of all my visits to this location I have had by far some of the best service from an Applebee's. Although I can't speak to the wait staff because I always sit at the bar, the bartender is always friendly and attentive and the food always comes out in a reasonable time. read more

I think that we need to have a different word for places like this. I see a restaurant as somewhere that people take raw products and make yummy food out of it. Then there are places like Applebees where they take something from a box, a bag, a carton and warm it up to serve. Now I am not really saying there is anything wrong with this second type, although really there is. I do know I want to avoid it when I can. I stopped in for a beer and a quick bite while out for a bike ride, sounded pretty simple. The result was a feeling you would normally get after an illness. Nothing against the people that work here by the way. The service was good, everyone was friendly and professional but the food sucks. So I went to this Applebee's the other day and was greeted by the most friendly staff go to table quick. As well as got my drink order taken very quickly. The wonton tacos were very burnt!They were so over cooked that when I picked it up, it fell apart. The Manger, Craig, asked how it was I said it was over cooked and he argued that it was "how it's done here". After a few minutes of arguing, I asked him to stop. They replaced it with spinach artichoke dip but STILL charged me. Taking the $4 off would have made made a huge difference but keeping long time customers wasn't worth $4 to Craig. We went to Applebee's for dinner. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, the baked potato was hard and cold. The ribs were also cold. When I complained to the manager, she said she wouldn't charge us for the potato. Although they did charge us for the sour cream to put on the potato. Been going to this Applebee's for many years and has always been pretty good until recently. Tonight we arrived and asked for a booth, the hostess or seater brought us to a table, yes with 4 chairs, not a booth! Again we asked for a booth and he really didn't know what to do, so we opted for a high top table where now we would sit for maybe 15 minutes with nobody noticing us. During this waiting period the hostess/seater would seat a family in a booth where a server showed immediately. At this point we had been egnored long enough and left! But as we left the bartender asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar, we were sitting 5 feet from the bar, he sees us leaving but doesn't see us sitting at our table with no service!! This was terrible and Applebee's should definitely get some people in there that knows what the term Customer Servive means!! read more

I can't believe it! There are"BONES" in my Fish & Chips order! There were two pieces of my fried fish that has bones in them! I ordered Fish & Chips for take out! 1) I saw the Fishes were over fried! 2) on my first bite, I bite into bones! I continued to bite into more bones on the same piece. My first time here and honestly my last time. Food was good. My friends food was not correct, but they fixed it. Waiter was "in your face annoying". I paid with cash, he returned my change in a black case. I had not taken the extra money out before he took it again. I didnt realize it and figured when he came back to ask for drink refills id let him know i wasnt giving him a 40% tip. But he never came back. This is my first review, and unfortunately it has to be an uber-negative one (but those are the most interesting anyway, right?). This is by far the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. Avoid this place like the plague, because that is in fact what they put in their food. I know 5 (count them, 5) people including myself that have gotten sick from the food in the past three weeks. I missed two days of work last week and spent most of the time in the bathroom (I'll spare the details) or lying on the couch doubled over in pain. I've eaten at many different Applebee's and I've always enjoyed their food and atmosphere, but there is definitely something fishy going on at this location.
