angelina was the best server ever. the food was good. and the ambiance was good too. very nice place to eat

Stop in for lunch order a Yuengling Amber. Was given a white cloudy glass and was told it is there dark beer. I'm been drinking amber beer for a long time and the bartender.Told me I was wrong. The manger said they were having CO2 problems. read more

First there was no ice for the drinks which they didn't tell us until there was warm, flat soda on the table. Then the spinach dip came out a whole 2 minutes before the rest of the food and it was warm at best. Then the food came out. Queso burger thing that had like 2 tablespoons of queso on the cast iron. Burger was dry. Cheese wasn't melted. Fries were somehow hot and barely cooked. My daughter got the honey pepper chicken Mac and cheese. Made with barely cooked penne, way too much cheese sauce that tasted like nothing, no sauce on the dried out chicken, and a bread stick that looked like it had been deep fried 3 times. This was the second worst meal I've had in my entire life. Funny enough, the worst meal was also an Applebees in Ohio which I thought was just a fluke at the time, guess not... eat from the hot spot at Kwik Trip, promise it will be Michelin star quality compared to this trash! read more

First time at an Ihop in probably ten years Pretty disappointed by the food and what you pay for it. $60 for two people to eat breakfast! Bacon omelette, steak and eggs, orange juice, soda, and a side of toast. Steak with the eggs was raw and tasted like dookie. Food was just ok. Service was fine. Ihop used to have such good breakfast. It will be at least another ten years now before I try again. read more

My review is for the iHop side of the combined Applebees and iHop restaurants. Upon my arrival, I had to wait to be seated for about 5 min (place was not busy). The ambiance was what you would expect. I was seating and my drink order (OJ) was placed. The OJ was from concentrate and tasted bitter, like it had some grapefruit mixed in. I ordered the steak omelette and when it arrived (see photo) it was large and looked good, but when I tucked in, I found it to be greasy and the steak might have come from an old donkey. The gal serving me only checked on me once, and the second time was to bring my bill. Overall, not impressed. 2 stars at best. read more

We have been sitting here for over an hour. People are complaining on standing for over 40 minutes - not being seated. 75 percent of the tables are open. We say at the bar, and have been waiting for over 35 minutes for food. Over heard another table stating they have been waiting for almost an hour for food. There seems to be plenty of waitstaff as they continue to walk around not serving food. Do not come here unless you want to wait for over an hour. We won't be back, and will be sharing this review with everyone. read more

Went to the opening of the iHop, had blueberry pancakes and a bloody. Both were great! Ok service, asked if we wanted to sit at the bar, place was empty, no how about a booth, sat in a half booth half chair bar table top. read more

Waited 10 minutes to be seated with no line, with multiple servers that walked past us and ignored us. Finally got seated, then waited another 20 minutes and was never even served a water before we left. Multiple servers had walked past us and saw we had no waters. When asked by a waiter if we had been served yet, we said no. She then walked away to grab our waiter, when our waiter finally came around, she proceeded to ignore us and help the table next to us, in which they already had their food. read more

Not a lot of food, depressing. And the waiters are not paying much attention, it looked like our waitress was on break when we were trying to pay. read more

The food was good, exactly what I would expect to get at every Applebees I go to. staff was friendly and accommodating, and our server did a great job! but I have to absolutely RAVE about the manager (I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but young man with long blonde hair) and how he handled all the entitled, stuck up, rude ass holes that walked in. table by table, people came in with shitty attitudes and took it all out on the servers and especially the manager, expecting life to hand their fat ass egos free stuff. I don't know what was up with Eau Claire, but having just stopped through, you guys are entitled ass holes that need to learn some manners and respect on how to treat people. Thank you staff for doing a great job despite the negative people that have nothing better to do than make people feel bad because they're sad in their own lives. Keep your heads up and stay positive through their bull shit. read more

If i could give it a zero i would. Service was horrible service. Disgusting food. The server was extremely rude making snotty comments and gestures towards us and my teenage daughter. The food was horrible ordered a steak and smelt like roadkill and tasted just as bad. One blonde hair worker with a big forehead was extremely rude and vulgar. Nasty workers, nasty food, nasty restaurant. -10/10 read more

Food is very good. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Manager came to our table to ask if all was ok. I mentioned that the parking lot was a disaster. Walking through dirt to get in? Told us that Corporate doesn't allow them to clean outside. Hummm. read more

My friend and I had lunch at Applebee's and we had the sweetest waitress, Dakota. She was kind and attentive with a great smile. I will request her the next time we go. The food was very good also, I would suggest the Bourbon mushroom swiss burger. read more

There food is soo bad it tastes like a cigarette there service is weird there workers are so mean

My friend's 21st birthday was yesterday and we decided to make the jenk decision to go to this Applebee's for her special day. We had a lot of excitement to come here for the $1 drinks during half apps time. We were very disappointed to hear the news that she could not be served because her license was still horizontal on the hologram, despite her being 21 and the date of birth being right smack on the ID. I feel like the staff did the bare minimum when it comes to checking upon this and I believe that this is a jaded a** policy. Do better Applebee's Do better. read more

Love their quesadilla burger and garlic mashed potato's! also they have the BEST red Sangrias in town! yum!

I sat for an hour after placing my order without even a return visit from the server. I finally walked out without ever receiving my order. Not a word from any employee the entire hour I was there. Terrible service. If it was busy that might be different, but it was dead. Only two other tables. read more

Horrible service. Put in order, server disappears. After a lengthy wait, told hostess to cancel our order...that we were leaving. She gave no comment, nothing, just went to kitchen, presumably to cancel our order. read more

What a joke really yell at everyone for not wearing a mask arguing with a guy who took his whole family out of the restaurant all he was asking is if they had masks available they were loud and rude to him that could of been handled better in my opinion then just play in your phone like were not right here we didn't get drink order in untill she came to take our food order. I only literally seen my sever one time some other people came by to ask if we needed anything yeah a refill on a drink and ketchup well nevermind my son ate his fries mean mugging me like it's my fault people didn't seem to want to be bothered with us. Bathroom was clean should say something nice I guess. read more

The hospitality was outstanding, And the service was fast efficient and super good. The waitress. Was amazing and very helpful to our 2 children. The food came very fast. The food was perfect it was exactly what we wanted. We were treated like kings and queens. I can't wait to come back. read more

Very friendly and great food. Sometimes short staffed but it doesn't affect the quality or the speed of service.

Sad when the hostess checks on you more than the waitress. The chicken sandwich I wanted was "all out" after I already placed my order. When we finally got to see our waitress again, we asked to order dessert but were told "no, because [the waitress] already printed our receipt". Really? At least ask us if we needed anything else before rushing us out! read more

Hubby and I stopped here on the way back from MN. Hubby loves Applebee's southwestern salad. I had a soup and salad combo. He said his salad tasted like it had been put on ice. My soup and salad was ok... Something you would expect at a chain. The soup tasted like spaghetti sauce. It was tomato basil. Meh. No bread when we asked. It's only for people that order pasta dishes. See photos of our dishes. There were about 5 or 6 wait staff for 10 tables and they still took their sweet time. Our waiter was lackadaisical. Hubby's salad came with a 'schmear' of his sauce on the plate showing they didn't take the time to wipe it in the kitchen. Sounds picky, but just an example of their attitude. If you are traveling southeast on 94 and are hankering for something at Applebees, go a bit further to Black River Falls. The yelpers give that a better rating. Maybe next time we'll stop there. read more

So unimpressed with this place. just witnessed the (what seemed like the manager) look at her employee and say "oh my fu**ing god" as someone walked in the door. They asked for a booth and she said "no, we are cleaning those". This manager is also sitting at a table the entire time with other employees playing with balloons.. so disgusting Applebee's. read more

Ordered car side Togo and waited for 40+ minutes. Called and was told they would be right out and continued to wait for 15 minutes after the call. I only ordered spinach dip, what's the holdup? The previous time I ordered from them I got just chips without dip or anything (a box of chips). I mean, the food is decent but not worth the wait. I will be ordering elsewhere from now on. read more

This place is rancid! From a former employee's standpoint, this is a really bad environment. Hands do not get washed, food is still being used after falling on the floor, and the new management is unforgiving and discriminant. There were several employees with disabilities, including myself, that have worked there for quite some time and were all let go once new management took over. read more

Applebee's have had their hit and misses with their entrees, but tonight I was impressed after not eating there for awhile that they actually have healthy choices in their menu along with the calorie count. I was looking for a lower carb meal and they actually had just a grilled chicken breast that came with two sides. This helped as I was able to pick two veggies instead. I had a low carb meal. The grilled chicken was juicy and tender. I had two choices of the garlic green beans Nice to see a menu with calories and if heat smart. So many people are watching what they eat and this helps. This will be a restaurant if choice for when I want to go out to eat but still want to eat on the healthier side. read more

Literally the worst of the worst. Applebee's microwaves food, has horrible service and cannot for the life of them get an order correct. I would highly recommend never going to this location. read more

My husband and I were at Applebee's in eau Claire, wi last night. Never eat at Applebee's in Eau Claire again. The manager was completely rude to us, someone took Mike's wallet - he accidentally left it sit on the table and the manager claimed to have cameras but would not even let me ask if he would check the cameras. He just kept cutting me off and asked me for a contact phone number. I kept asking if I could ask him a question and he kept talking over me and kept asking us for a contact number. Jeffrey is the name of the manager who was extremely rude. Do not go to Applebee's in Eau Claire. We both got up and went to the bathroom, he left the wallet on the table or the booth seat and forgot it. The manager claimed to have cameras but would not even let me ask if he would check the cameras to see what happened to it. We had to call the non-emergency police number and file a police report so maybe the cops can check the film/camera footage. Never eating at the eau Claire one again, and that WAS my favorite place to eat. The way things are cleaned and sanitized now, they would not have seated anyone unless it was properly cleaned and sanitized. So the next people in the booth were very unlikely to have found it. The officer arrived there and was told that the camera does not point toward that table. So we found it odd that he brought up the camera footage to us at all and said that he watched it... Applebees sucks. I had a meal this night with my lovely family, but there was not only food on the ground right next to our table, it was hot in the restaurant, plates all over empty tables, and then when we got our food my dads burger was cooked to be brown, the bacon was burnt, the salad was no more than romaine lettuce and seasoning, the waiter didn't punch in my moms order so we had to wait for her food to come out, the waiter didn't refill our beverages and my dad even had to get up to refill my moms. And it's outrageously expensive. Do better. read more

Came in on a Sunday night, not very busy, service was ok... Entree was good but the fries had clearly been sitting around for a while, they were soggy and had no flavor. I liked the entree but not sure I'll be back read more

Applebee's has been my kids favorite place to eat lunch for many years. Sadly, this is no longer the case. This location has gone down hill dramatically in the last 3 years. Bottom line, It is filthy. The carpet stinks like it hasn't been cleaned properly in 10 years and makes the entire restaurant smell like stale grease. Every visit, our table is sticky and makes my skin crawl. I'm afraid to think of the cleanliness of the kitchen. I have given them many chances to turn my opinion around and I'm done. At our last and final visit, we should have turned around and walked back out the door. There was only one other person at a table. (Not a good sign during lunch hour. I'd guess the words out.) You could have heard a pin drop. Not one TV was on, no music, nothing. We were placed next to the other women (poor girl could hear every word of our conversation as she was trying to relax with a drink, and appetizer) and when I asked if we could turn a TV on or at least some music the waiter told me the sound system hadn't worked for a week or so. So we all sat there in an awkward silence until the obese dishwasher waddled out from the back and plopped down only to carry on about how tired and exhausted she was in her soaked, filthy, food cover shirt. It was repulsive. The poor lady sitting next to us finally whispered that she had a bad feeling when she walked in. She said she was going to order a meal but decided on a quick appetizer so she could get out of there. She was as disgusted as we were. Our food was fine but not worth returning for ever again. It's unfortunate. And sadly this is not an isolated incident. It's a bad experience every.time. we go. Wouldn't recommend and will never return. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't drive by one day and the doors are closed. read more

I am here for business and the hotel recommended several local restaurants but when you travel a lot, sometimes you want to feel like you are in your neighborhood! I looked at Yelp and wasn't impressed BUT the reviews were all old and I decided to give it a shot, I am so glad I did. I was greeted right away by a friendly hostess, I wanted to order to go and was directed to the bar. Molly (bartender) was awesome. She was interacting with everyone and doing her job making and serving drinks all at once! I ordered the Lemon Cedar Chicken, my favorite, and a house salad. Travis, the manager (guessing) made sure everyone was having a good experience. Best part? The food was awesome! Chicken was fresh, hot and tender! Salad was yummy. Give it a try! read more

I got a job here a couple days before the lock down, during my interview I had mentioned that my last job was sketchy with paying me for the hours I worked. I was told "oh that won't happen here" I had to leave when the lock down hit, NEVER got paid For the hours I wasted in that shit hole. I have been back multiple times asking for a manager to get me my pay she claims all of our checks were sent out.. but I never received mine. weird. i Had someone give the manager my phone number, I finally received a call from her which turned out to be a butt dial i answer excited to finally speak to someone & she's just screaming at her husband/kids.. I hung up & i kept receiving call after call to the same thing I had to just turn my phone off for a few hours. What a joke this place is. don't waste your time if you even consider getting a job here. read more

I had a gift card from Christmas to use, and my son was in town so we went for lunch on a Friday early afternoon. Initially, the host said it would be a 45 min wait, then the manager informed her to just clean table 45. The place was busy, it is understaffed, and the manager just kept walking around in circles, doing nothing. The host, completely out of breath and can hardly walk, some sort of medical condition, but trying. The server, trying her best, but overbooked. My chicken bowl was alright but my son wanted a steak...totally disgusting! The steak was about a half inch thick so really, he couldn't get medium rare like he wanted. The side of broccoli was completely bland (maybe a little salt and butter) and the Mac and cheese was terrible tasting like liquid smoke was added?!?
