Hunter Rosin is the bartenders name who defiled a man using derogatory language. He refused my uncle service, he said "you look cheap". My uncle was wearing a st. Croix sweatshirt and Rosin pointed at it then pointed to the door. He then immediately turned to a group of blonde girls and yelled "this round on the house ladies!!" We ended up leaving. Being that it was my uncle's first time in the bar we assumed Rosin mistook him for someone else? Anyway, ether way there is no excuse for this behavior. read more

Bartenders were friendly; seemed like a fun and lively place to hang out at least on the weekends. I've only stopped in on the one Friday night, but we had a really good time...the drinks were pouring a little on the heavier side so I can't speak too much more than that. Did get to witness for the first time someone ordering the famous "title-wave shot"(which the bartender executed perfectly btw) while me and my companions looked around wildly, not understanding....typical twenty-something bar, not necessarily in a bad way though. read more

So 4 PM rolls around and you're thinking "Man, I wish I really had a drink". Want to hit up a bar in a college part of town before the crowds come? Go to Brothers. Happy hour runs from 4 PM to 8 PM, and it's absolutely stellar. Any rail/well single shot mixer is only $1.00! Try to get a bar out here to do specials like that and they're just going to yell at you. Beers are $1.50 for domestic and $2.00 for imports, which is also great. Free pool, free darts, free popcorn, and the place is fairly clean because the college kids haven't come in to wreck it. It gets busy sometimes and service isn't the best, but hell, you cannot beat these prices! read more

Ya...this isn't a sports bar (my definition of a sports bar includes food) nor is it a restaurant. I have never seen food here, I've never heard of anyone ordering food here, they don't have food here. I have never seen a grill anywhere in this establishment. They don't have a grill. It's a bar. Not a Bar and Grill...they don't serve food. Bottom line Brothers Bar and Grill is not a "bar and grill", it's a bar. A good bar at that. Also, what is up with "yes" for delivery. I'm sorry, I used to love this bar but I think the bartenders need to learn that people order drinks to have them put at least a drop of alcohol in them. It's seriously getting ridiculous and I'm not talking about the cheap specials which makes sense why there aren't 4 shots in a long island for $1. Ordered 4 shots, poured all 4 into 1 shot glass and I bet it still wasn't a true shot. Very rude bartenders. Both their dart machine and pool table did not work after I already put in money. After I asked for help and then my money back I was asked to leave due to harrasment by a female bartender for simply asking for help or fix of the machine. Bar was completely empty very very poor performance. They don't care about their customers. read more

Finest college bar in Eau Claire. I stop by in the city every year for business meetings and never go without stopping by Brothers. On any typical weeknight, even at -17 F temperatures, you shall expect brothers to be packed with college students dancing away their stress. Best of all, the bartenders are courteous and drinks are dirty cheap. I bought 2 beers on tap and a Johnny Black and coke for a whopping $6! SIX DOLLARS! I almost bought the entire bar a round. brothers bar is a must for college students 21+. cheap drinks during happy hour everyday as well as free darts and pool! I've never had better popcorn than what they make. The bar tenders are all very sociable and smiling and dancing behind the bar! I enjoyed the music and especially enjoy getting a brothers T-shirt every Thursday night! Terrible service. The worst on Water Street. I dare someone to question me on that. The only thing decent about it is the happy hour. Besides that, the drinks are weak, the taps for the beer are dirty, and the crowd is dumber than a box of rocks. The only reason why I ever went to that s-hole is because it conveniently located on Water Street and hey, you can't beat a $1 beer on Wednesday night. read more
