The Apple Store in Willowbrook has maintained its long standing ability to resolve my problem the first time.

Why trust an organization who specializes in data and technology who can't keep track of purchases? Less than 8 months the screen and case cracked. They didn't even look me up. I had the glass protector replaced but Best Buy twice, due to convenience. When the outer case was damaged I figured it was time Apple cover it. I have my receipt of my original purchase, I bought the whole Iphone17 Shabang. Best Buy had my receipt on record when I went to them for the screen protector for the second time. When a separate party gives you a better warranty than the original manufacturer-it's time to start looking for something else. Like Apple doesn't make enough on the front end without keeping their warranty. No more- Just because a big corporation CAN make it more difficult for their consumers, should they? Make me go back and get my receipt!? That's nuts-Thats poor service-(less than 10 months old.) read more

1/2(If I could give half a star, I would.) My experience at this Apple Store was extremely disappointing. Not only did I have to wait, but even after my name was added to the list, I waited nearly four hours before getting any assistance. Then, when I thought it was finally my turn, I ended up waiting even longer. I arrived right when the store opened and didn't leave until they were almost closing. Spending an entire day waiting for service is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I still had enough time afterward to go to my phone carrier's store, where they simply exchanged my phone for a new one without the all-day wait. This was my last visit to an Apple Store. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this particular location to anyone expecting timely customer service. read more

I walked into the Apple Store here in Willowbrook and it was completely ignored. I think they see a 66-year-old woman as not important to them, but a college age man walks in and they're all over him like flies on... At least a dozen separate employees walked right past me, seeing me with my Apple Watch in hand and not ONE asked " have you been helped?" It wasn't until the gentleman standing next to me engaged me in conversation saying you've been standing there for a long time and I said yes. I then loudly stated said I've been ignored by at least a dozen employees who don't have the decency to come over and ask if I have been helped. A manager heard me speaking to the gentleman and says can I help you? He then tells me that it will be a two hour wait before I can talk to a tech person to look at my Watch. It would've been nice, when I called the store earlier, if someone said I needed to make an appointment. ( another problem here) I've had bad service here before, but it is the closest APPLE store . I may have to drive the extra hour just to go to another store because this place sucks. read more

Management lies and there is no point in making a "reservation" to get your product serviced if its going to be kept overnight. Different answers and no results. I went to the Apple Store to warranty out my AirPods and I was told by the Apple rep on the phone that I could walk in and it would be a quick transaction to swap them out. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. The Apple employees did update me periodically to give me and update on where I was in line. Remember the days when Apple was known for their superior customer service? Yeah, those days are long gone. I came to Apple to pickup my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. Every time Apple releases a new iPhone they come out with a reservation system to pick up their iPhone for crowd-control. This is nothing new. My appointment time was set for later in the evening because it was all that was available, I came during my lunch to attempt to pickup my iPhone and the manager on duty would not allow their rent-a-mall cops to get me in line. The manager said I had to come back at my scheduled time. . And this is not because of COVID-19 or anything, this store just didn't want to fit me in. There were 4 people in line, no excuse to not let me pickup my iPhone earlier because IT IS ready to be picked up. I bought an Apple Watch at a different Apple Store during the pandemic, I also showed up early and they had no problem letting me wait in line to pickup my Apple Watch. Sure I had to wait behind everyone else that had earlier appointments which was fine but they at least tried to help me (the customer) out. I live about an hour away from this location and now I have to drive back home, readjust my schedule just so I can make this hour drive back to this store to pickup my new iPhone. If it were company policy I would understand but clearly it isn't when other locations have accommodated for me showing up earlier. Again, there were only 4 people in line. Poor decision making in whoever that manager was. read more

You don't realize how important your phone is until you don't have it. After having lost my phone came here to get see what my options were - worked with several members of the team to put disable my phone and to locate it. With there help I was able to get my phone back - team was quick to help me out and super understanding. read more

Stopped by on the off chance I could be helped quickly. Informed of an hour and a half wait we scheduled an appointment for the next day. I arrived 9 minutes early and was politely directed to a waiting area. At the appointed time my name was called and Ronald (I think) took charge of serving my iPhone. 5 minutes later the phone was all cleaned and dusted and could once again accept a charge from a cord. On the way out I scheduled another appointment for my grandson's phone today. read more

First off Bryan the store manager with the dreads is amazing! The charging cord for my Apple iPhone 7 Plus went out just past my warranty and Bryan went out of his way to find me one. Bryan truly understands client relations. Most people would just say no and send on your way even though you paid over 800.00 for your phone but Bryan made sure I was taken care of. He is also extremely friendly, nice and very personable. I'm glad I was able to work with him today at the Apple store at Willowbrook. They are definitely always packed so be prepared to wait but I actually didn't have a long wait today. I was in and out within five minutes. My wife went to the store to get a new iPhone 14+ and came home extremely frustrated by the lack of customer service and the experience of the staff in dealing with iPhones. After over hour she finally left with old iPhone inactive and new iPhone inactive. The staff did not know how to transfer data from the old iPhone to the new iPhone 14+ and set up the phone. Her comments were that they were arrogant and not interested in helping her with setting up the new phone, they had made the sell and that was all that mattered. It amazes me (I guess it shouldn't) that the 3 or 4 people that she interacted with at the store were that bad in helping a customer. I am sure they their cue from management. read more

Apple support MADE the appointment at the "Genius Bar" (gimme' a break) for data migration from my MacBook Air to a new MacBook pro. Apparently this 'genius' Store decided not to be bothered with customer service. After waiting days for an appointment and driving there, I was told they don't DO data migration anymore. (I'd do it myself if I wasn't awaiting cataract surgery, and can't see to do it) I'll NEVER set foot in another Apple Store for as long as I live, and may quit Mac altogether. I was helped by Micael I think and another young man I didn't catch his name but he was a young black man that was slim w a beard ( I want him to receive his flowers), they were beyond helpful and the reason I will come back, they gave me all the help I needed and more. Every time I come in here it's a shhh show. No one knows where to go or who to ask. No one helps you out , they look at you then their iPads and don't bother asking if you need help. I had a 4:15 appt and went in at 4:10. Got checked in and sat down. Waited for 15 mins then a couple got helped for the same problem I had and left. Then another guy and lady showed up and by that time it was already 4:40. An employee stared at me and didn't bother to ask if I needed anything. Instead she called the next person. So I took it upon myself to ask ANYONE cause everyone's looking down at iPads pretending to do something... I was supposed to be helped 30 mins ago. Finally got someone's attention and they told me I'd be next. Finally someone came by 5 and took my AirPods for a check. Literally finished with me in 15 mins. So I waited a good 45-55 mins just to be taken care of in less than 20 mins. This place needs some kind of structure, employee and customers are all over the place. I dropped off my computer for a repair over a week ago. At the time everyone I was talking to seemed nice and friendly. They walked me through the steps and said that it would take one to two days once the parts came in, and that I would be able to call about the progress and use the app to see how things were progressing. Fast forward 10 days, and the app has not been updated since the parts came in a week ago, the store does not answer the phone (I called every two hours one day they were open, and every morning when they opened after that). I talked to Apple Customer service at least 10 times and they also said they have no way of contacting the store if they do not answer the phone. At this point, I am wondering if my computer has been lost or stolen. By the Apple store. Not only would I not recommend this particular Apple store for their incredible unresponsiveness, I am not sure I can recommend Apple as a company if their response to a store that cannot be contacted for a week is nothing. read more

We asked if we could buy a phone and they said there was no available appointments, the wait is over 20min, you need to stand in the store and wait. Do not EVER make an appointment at this location. Appointments don't mean anything they book slots like 2 minutes apart and there is one guy helping all of the customers booked spread out over 2 tables. My appt was at 12:05 and then I was told there are 2 people in front of me. The 12, and the 12:03 or something like that. Wtf. I waited over 40 minutes before I walked out because I noticed the people "ahead of me" still hadn't even been helped. At one point the store was almost empty in terms of shoppers and there were multiple employees and still no one helped us. Worst most unprofessional location ever. read more

Well, well, Apple. I'm actually giving you another star, but you haven't earned that coveted fifth star in my book just yet. Three days prior to my appointment at this Genius Bar, my 2011 MacBook Pro froze. A forced restart resulted in the dreaded "blue screen of death." While I could boot into safe mode and realized that I had backed everything up, a computer that will only run in safe mode is virtually useless. Out of Apple Care warranty, I bite the bullet and immediately make an appointment to get my baby in for service (using my trusty iPad, of course). First appointment is 3 days hence: an eternity! This store is packed with a capital P on the weekends. I am, however, seen within about 5 minutes of my appointment time. Problem explained and a diagnostic check is done. Seems my video card has failed. The Apple genius leaves for what seems like a long time. When he returns, I'm presented with the proverbial "good news and bad news" stuff. A week to repair (that's the bad) but the good is that there will be no cost to me. What? This MBP is over 4 years old. How is that? Apparently, certain 2011 MBP models had "potentially faulty" video cards that would cause system crashes. Okay, take a look back at my original review of this store. I went in for this issue shortly after I got the machine and they told me it was a software conflict. This issue has persisted since I've owned it, yet Apple has indicated that it was an OS issue (please upgrade, was their advice) or don't use the programs that conflict (like Photoshop -- you're kidding me, right?). So, now it's admitted, but ONLY after the entire system shut down. Part of my anger stems from the fact that I know Apple can admit if they have hardware problems. My brother received a notice from them that his iMac could experience a hard drive failure (although he had not experienced any problems) and that he needed to bring it in immediately for a free replacement. Why wasn't this done in my case? Why wait and cause frustration and angst with your customers if this can be avoided? Bad business practices, in my opinion (and this is the reason for my deduction of a star). So, off she was whisked and I was told I could pick her back up in 3 to 5 business days. Like manna from the Gods, in 3 days I was indeed emailed that she was ready for pickup. Not only was the video card (logic board) replaced, but the optical drive was also replaced due to apparent failure as well. Total repair cost to me on this machine that I purchased 4 1/2 years ago: zero. While I may not have been a happy camper being without my computer for these last days, I will tell you that it sure beats being without a computer permanently or having to be in the market for a new one. I know I spent a chunk on this when I bought it, but i also recollect spending a chunk on a Dell laptop that in less than 3 years was nothing more than a glorified doorstop. At least Apple stepped up to the plate and fixed what was done wrong, and I will admit that both times I was in (drop off and pick up), the "geniuses" that I dealt with were knowledgeable, kind and attentive to my concerns. Never once was I questioned whether I had in any way abused my laptop and they wanted to make sure that it worked perfectly when I picked it up. Nice. read more

The reason for this rating is that it is impossible to rate this store any lower. I am currently waiting to have a MacBook "looked at". Of all the blue shirts in this annoying place, none is able to pull him- or herself away from nothingness to assist me. It is now 7:11, and I have a 7:45 appointment. I checked in shortly after 6. Others have been able to walk in, get service, and walk out. I, on the other hand, have been required to wait. After waiting for 45 minutes, I requested an update and was told that I was sitting at the wrong table. Note that the tables are not numbered... it's amazing that a company that has Apple's reputation would allow such poor customer service to threaten that reputation. I no longer see any value in owning a MacBook if it is a) extremely fragile, b) tedious to repair, and c) repairmen like Joseph act as if they could care less that my machine is not working. My last trip here was pretty good- the guy I was talking to was spot on about the info about the iPad-3 and 2 when we were comparing. Had info I hadn't heard before about some apps- most times you will hit knowledgeable people working in these stores this guy was better than most. I like that they are not high pressure. They listen to what you are looking for to really pick what you "need" for what you want to do- I heard it all around me. Not trying to oversell some poor woman that wants to do email and some surfing some high end tower- good deal. Side note- my iPhone having issues, they couldn't resolve it- they just asked- "are you backed up at home??" I said oh yeah I did last night "Yeah that is part of the issue why we can't track the problem down due to the 'log'" So they gave me a brand new phone! and I have an iPhone 3GS bought through an ATT store- gotta love that. read more

The worst Apple Store location ever. I'll rather go to Highland Village or the Gallerias. I went there for a tech support visit. I just wasted 45 minutes of my time waiting for someone to take care of my issue, the idiot at the Genius Bar just ignored me all the time. When finally I got some of attention was to ask me to move from the seat I was using. They gave me the feeling you have to be from certain skin color. I sent my son to get a new charger for his laptop. During his trip into the store my wife let me know that the lost charger was found. So then I let my son know to return it. It took him five minutes to buy it and 45 minutes to return it. It probably would've taken longer if they were closing soon. If this is not an example of a monopoly, then I know what is. I don't know any other company that can get away with customer service this bad. read more

I scheduled an appointment for same day repair. I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment. After a long process of phone inspection, the consultant said they could not repair the phone because the technician would not have time to repair that day. They said they rescheduled to the next day. I'm very disappointed. If they are busy, they should not schedule for customer to come. Waste my time read more

The service I received at this location was pretty good. I had never been to this location. Normally I go to the apple store near my job. I felt bad that the transfer of data from my old phone to the new phone went past their store hours. I have too many apps! They were nice about it and weren't trying to shove me out the door at store closing time. read more

I love my iPhone. I hate the apple store. I hate that they don't have a checkout counter. I hate that I get embarrassed for other people that walk in and don't really understand how it works and wait in line at the genius bar to try and buy an iPhone case. I hate that when my iPhone breaks I have to make an appointment akin to going to the doctor. They are always running behind and it takes for freaking ever to deal with it. I hate that each different kind of employee wears a different kind of shirt, and one cannot seem to be able to do the others job. If you approach the wrong color shirt and try and get something done, they direct you to another color. Its just irritating. I like that I can play with everything, including removing every single iPhone case from its package if I want to and try it on my phone. I like that they will teach me how to use my mac. OK I don't own one, maybe one day. I like that I feel like they are on to something and can really make a neat customer experience but they just fall short. More employees? Bigger store? Not sure, but something needs to be fixed. UPDATE: Before I could even post this review, I had to go BACK to the hellhole store because they gave me the wrong phone. This itself hasn't affected my review because its more of an Apple issue (the serial number didn't match the phone) but the genius at the store was rude, didn't explain to us what was going on, and disappeared for 15 minutes. We were told by someone else in the store what was going on because our genius felt he didn't need to speak to us. HORRIBLE! This store is difficult to deal with. Not what you expect from Apple. Inconsistent answers from 4 staff members. Refused to honor diagnosis by store out of state that repair was under warranty. The next day we took to Highland Village store and had the opposite experience. They were polite and professional and explained that all locations operate as "One Apple" and they would certainly honor the warranty and make sure repair would be done in 48 hours! I've been in the Apple Store in the Galleria, and they excel at being snooty and stupid. They didn't like me there as I failed to have Applegasms when I touched an Apple product, and I failed to drop to my knees on the hour facing 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California and pray for salavation from Windows and Microsoft. In fact, I actually said - out loud - that HP had a better interface on one laptop product. I think they brought in a Hazmat team to sterilize the area I stood in when I utterred the blasphemy. This store is different, Of course it's got all the cool vibe look, sleek design, and classy presentation of the Apple Stores, but the people there were more friendly and helpful. I do have to point out that for all Apple's cool design and user friendly design, why do they make their salespeople do gymnastic twists to grab a customer's receipt from UNDER a display table. Apple stores -- oh how they attract the really odd people from the mall. But they are always crowded and the good thing is, you can always find an Apple employee to take your order. I *LOVE* the fact that you just walk up to one of the employees, tell them what you want, they speak into that super top secret CIA looking microphone (you know what I'm talkin about) and swipe your card into a modified iPhone type device, get your bag and walk out. No waiting in a line, for a cash register, etc. Got cash or Check? Go somewhere else, please. I doubt they even take such archaic forms of money. Get a job and a credit card, hippie :) LOL.. Seriously, its great. The drawback? crowded with kids who are NEVER going to buy an iPod, or iPad, or something like that. But I think its great that they have all those Apple Priced accessories right there on the wall -- (Apple priced means $$$$) and you can just find what you need. As for the Apple haters out there, well... haters are gonna hate. As for the Genius Bar appointments, its like going to the doctor for your Apple. You need an appointment. Overall, I love this place. Also, they sold me my EyeTV that makes my Mac Mini a complete media center -- I can watch *MY* tv and video's on my iPod or iPad or laptop.... (yes, even Linux or PC-- gosh!) from anywhere. I don't really shop here. I think I've bought one thing here a long time ago, I don't even remember what it was. This store claims to be ALL ABOUT their customer service. Well, one day I walked in here to see if they could help me with my simple problem. My Otter Box case on my iPhone "bubbles up" over the screen and has been for a while now. I've tried to fix it myself but can't. They refused to help me because they said it's AT&T's problem. Umm...excuse me?!
