I had my appointment and was billed 1,000 dollars. I was then told they do not take my insurance at all. They refused to listen to me when I explained my son was having pain in his teeth. They drilled a chip in his front tooth and tried filling it. That came out within a week. They did it again and the same issue. I was told not to worry about it, it's fine. His tooth is now breaking down and causing a ton of pain and they refused to help. They even canceled my children's future cleanings. Awful to work with and care solely on the bill they can send you. Terrible experiences.

Mind you I had already been back to that office so why now am I all of a sudden not allowed back in the office? I called. I'm met with rude receptionist, rude people just telling me essentially just go figure it out and go find a new office it's crazy because I really in the beginning. Thought Haas was a good office but sometimes when you have the wrong people working in a good place, you don't get good service so beware of this dental office do not book with the Nashua location.

The office manager explained the cost and the different options. Then sent those options via email. We're still waiting on the pricing with the new insurance. But everything from scheduling to the appointment has gone smoothly. They have a sign welcoming new patients and they write your child's name on it. Even though my daughter is a few days away from 13, when Abby saw her name, she did her smile that says that's cool but I'm a teenager so not that cool. I know deep down she felt special. Office is clean. Parking was clean and has plenty of parking.

I had an orthodontic emergency where my permanent retainer broke, and there was exposed sharp metal in my mouth. I was not originally a patient with Chan & Chen Orthodontics but they still took me right away. I called many other orthodontics offices, and nobody else could take me that day. It was the Friday before a 3 day weekend, and I was very scared I'd have to go the whole weekend with the sharp metal in my mouth. Chan & Chen Orthodontics fixed my permanent retainer quickly and did a great job, for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this business.

So this review is long overdue but I just recently found out about the situation as it has been…read moreover 10 years since I went here. I went here when I was 16 for braces because I had a "snaggle" tooth on one side of my mouth and was super self conscious about it. The rest of my teeth I thought were fine but just really wanted to fix that one tooth. After some begging from my parents they agreed and brought me to get braces. Things were great at first, I had to have a tooth pulled because my mouth was crowded and we couldn't get that one tooth where it was supposed to be. No big deal, got the tooth pulled and then got the braces put on. My mom had made it very clear to Dr Mehan that she did not want my teeth altered at all besides you know the braces being put on and them straightening out. I think I only had the braces on for a little over a year, but after about 6-7 months my smile was beautiful! I loved it. My teeth looked awesome and I was very confident about my smile and was excited to get them off because lets face it, braces are not very comfortable, and figured since my teeth looked straight I should be getting them off soon. They ended up saying that I needed a couple more months which I thought okay no big deal I've made it this far. I remember a visit where they were in my mouth with some type of equipment which I assumed was like filing off some glue off some braces that had moved or something, I don't know I just went along with it because Dr Mehan told me it had to happen and again I was 16 so I trusted him to know what he was doing. A couple months later I got my braces off - how exciting right! Nope not that exciting. I noticed now that on the right side of my smile it was not straight, it was straight in the front but one side of my smile went up giving it the look that i had a crooked smile which my teeth were not like this before. I brought this up to Dr Mehan and he showed me that from the inside of my mouth looking up at the teeth the looked straight, I told him them being straight wasn't an issue my smile was clearly going up on one side. He suggested he put some hooks on the back teeth of that side and we would put rubber bands on it to try and "help pull my smile back down", which never ended up working. Ever since I've been self conscious of my smile. I recently brought it up to my mom that I still couldn't understand how I went from having a beautiful smile a few months prior to getting my braces off and then it all of a sudden be crooked. She informed me that Dr Mehan HAD FILED DOWN MY TEETH on that side, without permission of her and she had confronted him about it the day that he put the hooks in the back to try and "pull my smile down". My mother is not a confrontational person and wanted to protect me from being more self conscious than I already was as a young teenager so she never told me about it until recently, which I wasn't really pleased about I really wish I had known and I wished we had gone through with legal action as he went against my parents wishes AND FILED DOWN MY TEETH! So now I have to look into getting caps put on my teeth or something in order to fix my smile which costs a good chunk of cash that I do not have so probably won't happen for a while. I get that there are a lot of great reviews about this place but please just be careful and make sure he doesn't file your children's teeth down without your permission.

One time, I was sitting in the chair for about 45 minutes, and they're just sitting around. Or you need your retainers checked, and they're just standing there, talking about having their cats neutered or something. 2. EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides those downsides, Dr. Cardarelli is really good. All of his assistants (I think that's what they're called ) are really nice and they do great work.
