Devon had left the practice and unfortunately I was put with another hygienist, who was not terrible, but nowhere as friendly and attentive as Devon. Unfortunately, I was a few weeks late paying a $40 copay. I had payed the $40 payment and when I tried booking my next cleaning, Wendy had told me that my insurance was not activated and i could not book for a cleaning. I spoke with my insurance company, and they told me they never were inactive so they were also unsure as to why Dr. Bower's office could not book me for my cleaning. Today I called and spoke to Laurie where she told me because I was late on my $40 payment (which had not gone to collections) they decided to remove me as a patient of their practice. I have Delta Dental/ BCBS of MA Preferred PPO plan. It's not as if they weren't being paid top dollar from my insurance company. I was removed as a patient for a $40 late co payment. I went from referring this practice to everyone I knew looking for a dentist and I will not recommend this practice to anyone and be sure to let the word be known to everyone I have been recommending.

I also have a best friends husband whose a dentist in AZ I lived in 5 different states being military spouse and man this is by far the WORST dental office I've ever encountered not the staff I outside the doctors. They're great. But trash when it becomes to legal ethical guidelines of dentistry. They are supposed to hold to these standards. Between the cracked tooth he created charged me with after his filling or my tooth infection not to mention he's the most aggressive cleaner made me bleed for weeks read his reviews. I only stuck by because I had paid insurance and the new hygienist was gental and great. But then he looked at my TWO healthy teeth after her exam for 5 seconds told me to remove them. Mind you I worked at dental office I know this destroys the tooth and kills it and can lead to tooth canals and other major reprocussions during surgery. I asked him point blank so they're healthy no infection both teeth he said yes and I said how long do you think these healthy teeth have before infect he said probably over 20 years. So I said I'm good I already knew I wasn't before asking wanted to call him out on his unethical procedures and he knows I pay out of pocket myself so he gets full refund. Well I told him and staff multiple times no. Well they harassed me every month since to add this procedure I was already looking at other dentist after talking to me dentist friends out of state who said that's completely unethical and they would never. They went to Harvard and MIT so legit knew this was unethical. But last straw was they sent me a bill for services I already paid for. Be careful read other reviews I read countless people getting fake tooth from filled online the procedure goes wrong they see another dentist and they tell them nothing's wrong.

Every problem with my teeth - small or big - has been met with careful consideration and detailed planning. And execution always got me to results I expected. Procedure took some time, but was absolutely painless and results exceed my expectation. I strongly recommend MGS dental for all your teeth problems.

If you get anxiety about going to the dentist this is the place for you. I came here after going to…read morea hack dentist in Danvers, and had a panic attack in the dentist chair. I had to have two cavities filled, which should've been no big deal, but they were in a terrible spot in my mouth and very big. I'm not one who is prone to anxiety attacks, so after it happened, I didn't know what to do, but I knew I wouldn't be able to go through it without gas, or some kind of sedation. The hack dentist in Danvers (who shall remain nameless) offered nothing. I found this place because my secretary recommended it to me, she had gone there for some dental implants. And thought they were really fantastic. They didn't shame me or make me feel dumb for having the anxiety attack over two cavities. They did offer me either nitrous oxide or IV sedation no questions, no problems. The dentist was great, I was comfortable for the whole process. I highly recommend.

The new patient oral evaluation cost $176, and while insurance covered $79.20, that remaining balance was another surprise. Later, I even received an additional bill for $96.80 for what should've been a simple evaluation. It became clear to me that this office prioritizes billing opportunities over patient care, with an aggressively inflated treatment plan that felt more like a sales pitch than genuine dental advice. The worst decision I made was going there. The best decision was walking away before agreeing to their unnecessary, overpriced treatment plan.
