I am writing to share our experience with Dovetail Dental regarding my husband David's treatment…read more In February 2025, David saw Dr. Senat for a check-up and agreed to have his teeth extracted. We were charged $2,850.00 for the extractions. On April 30, 2025, David underwent the procedure using only nitrous oxide. In hindsight, we believe Dr. Senat should have advised against this or referred David to an oral surgeon. The experience was extremely painful, and Dr. Senat was ultimately unable to extract Tooth 22. We were then referred to Apex Oral Surgery, where we had to pay an additional fee for Dr. Torio to successfully complete the extraction. The initial treatment plan from Dovetail totaled $14,161.00, which notably included a charge for a "backup" denture. After subsequent issues with Dr. Senat, we requested a transfer to another dentist within the practice. In February 2026, David had four implants placed by Dr. Torio. Following the healing period, we requested a new treatment plan from Dovetail to integrate a bottom denture with the implants. The quote provided was $14,157.00, with potential additional costs bringing the total to $14,995.00. Seeking a second opinion, we visited Bedford Dental Care. Their quote for the exact same procedure was $6,954.95--a difference of over $8,000.00. Due to the excessive pricing and the difficulties we encountered during the extraction process, we would advise others to research alternative providers before committing to a major procedure at Dovetail Dental. It seems he did all this intentionally, with these problems only becoming apparent years later. I recorded all my visits and can provide proof if necessary. Dentist. Lindgren falsely claimed I cursed his staff, which is completely untrue. If I had, I would ask him to specify exactly what was said and to whom. I urge him to do the right thing. This behavior is unprofessional and immature. Dentist. John Lindgren and his wife, both highly educated and quick to defend themselves, seem skilled at deflecting criticism rather than addressing the real issues at hand. Despite their credentials, their behavior throughout my treatment was unprofessional and disrespectful.

I had an orthodontic emergency where my permanent retainer broke, and there was exposed sharp metal in my mouth. I was not originally a patient with Chan & Chen Orthodontics but they still took me right away. I called many other orthodontics offices, and nobody else could take me that day. It was the Friday before a 3 day weekend, and I was very scared I'd have to go the whole weekend with the sharp metal in my mouth.
