It took me almost 2 hours to pick up my prepurchased apple device! The customer service over at the Dadeland apple store is second to none as they are blowing their customers away towards their competitors. If it hadn't been for the simple fact that I'd purchased the device online, made it out for pickup and was physically at the store, I would've just purchase another Samsung android. Honestly appalled and amazed at the sheer skill that these representatives had towards ignoring me and my presence entirely. Not once was I approach by one of the 20-30 staff members on the floor. Thus, I sat on a stool by the POS counter top only to be further shocked at the way they continued to ignore me. I must've been 1 of 5 customers left of which 4 were being assisted, leaving me to think that one of the 12 staff members available there would approach me to ask if I'd been helped or not and man was that wishful thinking on my part. This goes without mention that I tried to grab one of the apple store's workers attention but nothing. All in all, I had to get up and literally confront a member face to face before getting any sort of acknowledgement. Finally after waiting an eternity to get my fully paid for device, I was free.... or so I thought. Now having been given my item, I was being asked if I was interested in getting apple care. To their credit, it's a smart purchase but for someone who was expecting to be in and out only to wait two hours to then be pressured towards purchasing two years of this insurance was just an outright bone headed move. Thus, I give this location one star because after having to wait 2 hours to get my fully paid for device and wasting another 15 minutes kindly explaining to the representative that I wasn't interested in purchasing apple care at the moment, I was able to pick up my apple device the same day of purchase. read more

I bought an At&t iPhone 7 plus. The microphone sounded distorted, everyone I called said they couldn't hear me, when I charged the phone or while i was using it the phone would overheat. it was obviously a phone issue. The guy that "helped" me ran a diagnostic test, said the phone was ok and blamed At&t. He reinstalled the software and dismissed me. He was also rude, didn't let me express myself, interrupted and simply had a bad attitude! This is unacceptable when you purchase a $1,000 brand new product. He ruins the image of the whole company. I'll go back and find out his name and add it to this review. I later went to the Apple store at the Dadeland mall and they were shocked the employee would blame At&t for something that was clearly related to the phone! They exchanged it and the new phone works perfectly! I still won't get back my morning and the great frustration of being lied to and pulled by the nose! So I think I shouldn't buy any new Apple products the day they're released. Because once I do, a month later, I find my way back into Apple talking to an expert. This time it was helpful advice and the genius that helped me was awesome! I even asked him to talk to my mom about her new phone issues. The apple store was once my favorite place to go even when i was going to repair my computer. Key word: WAS It was recently remodeled and yes it was bigger after but the service just wasnt the same for me. Every time i go it seems everyone in the apple world gets that memo and decides to go too. When i go just to look around, the employees cant stop hounding me with "is everything ok?" "can i help you today", but when i go in to actually buy something it seems they can care less.... they dont have registers at the front anymore so you usually need an employee to ring you up with their little register gun thinger. My friend and i go in now and when we need help we just start touching everything we can with the "dumb and confused' look... that usually seems to get their attention in a few minutes. With the bad stuff out of the way, let me get to the good part of this apple store. Their genius bar is always uber helpful. I've had a few issues with my 12" ibook that i needed to get repaired and they have done their best to save me as much money as possible if it was something not covered under applecare warranty, like my charger breaking off inside of my computer...the apple way: replace everything $450... the apple genius way: instore repair $175 still pricey but still cheaper then a new laptop or the apple way. I also had a fried logic board right before spring break. (which was covered under warranty) it was sent out, returned mid break, but returned broken (it wouldnt close evenly) they took a look at it and told me no worries sent it out on rush since they knew i used it for school notes and i would need it on monday, i had my laptop by monday without any issues. If you are going for a repair try and set up a time before you go or else it can be a wait. Having an Apple store close by is always nice since all the techy stuff i have is usually an apple product. but with all this said i try to go during off hours when the store is more empty so i can whatever i need, repair or purchase, to get done fast. read more

Whenever I'm in the Falls I always walk in the Apple Store just to see what's going on in the Mac world. (Since I'm not A Mac head) I'm always been rapidly approached by someone willing to help me. The place has always been clean and organized. Apple has always had all their products out to try out with someone ready to answer any questions. I recently purchase two Iphones at different dates and they have answered all my questions on both dates. Different reps. I went back to the store with my last phone I purchase to get my contacts transferred from my old phone something they offered at time of purchase but I was in a hurry at the time. They connected my old phone and my new phone to a machine when they notice something was wrong with my new phone they brought out another machine and it had the same problem. So they took my new phone to the Genius desk and they found that my new phone was not working properly when connected to another device. They immediately exchanged my phone for another new one. I was able to get all my contacts in seconds. I'm just glad they found this problem and not me it would have driven me crazy. I'm not the kind of guy who gives up on things. Since I purchase my phones I've gone back three different times to purchase different items and have always been help with good knowledge. The one thing bad I will say about apple is coming from Verizon and Sprint years ago AT&T is horrible with reception. I can't understand why such a good brand is related to such an unreliable brand. I think Steve knows this and is working on this. If the rumors come true I'm back with Verizon in a heartbeat. I don't care how much of a penalty I have to pay AT&T. read more

In light of the revamped Apple space at Aventura (finally), the Falls location is no longer tops but still nice.

If I can give it half of a star, I would. Management and staff could be better in terms of professionalism and Apple as a whole needs to step their game up. End result=no resolution to my problem and the phone was missing a screw which holds the casing closed. I've been with Apple since the 3G iPhone and never experienced the disgrace that I had to endure today. Okay Apple store you are fun to walk into and just play with all your gadets! This Apple store is usually crowded, but the service is decent. Went to but the new I-phone and was in and out in about 15minutes, paying, setting the phone up and all. I tend to avoid the Apple store like the plague, as it's always so crowded and chaotic in there! Tonight, I had to venture in there as my IPad was possessed and needed professional help. I walk in and make my way through the crowds to the front of the store. I immediately spot a friendly face and share my woes with him. His name was Jaime. He immediately recognized I was technologically impaired and slowly went through the process of everything I needed try in order to fix it on my own (my warranty expired one week ago)! He then told me that if I had any trouble whatsoever, I could come back to the store with my laptop and they would help me right then and there. He also showed me how to make an appt online if I was unable to fix it after doing what he suggested. So refreshing to find such a helpful young person! I called the store, got redirected to Apple Care although I specifically wanted to speak to the Falls Store and finally got on the line with someone from there and as soon as I asked my question they rudely hung up the phone on me without even saying a word. Have to admit it, this place works like every other place. No sorry out of warranty is always the answer. Then it's $60 to fix it. But I pay the additional insurance. Sorry that's through the service provider not us. Gee thanks. Still love the product but it's a hardware issue and I find it hard to believe that it's not covered somehow. Nekia took care of us and she was very nice and attentive, always trying to answer all of hubby's questions and even going in the back when he wanted to look at an item which they did not have open in the floor. I came here after having a major hardware malfunction with my brand new iPhone. I've heard nightmare stories about how long people wait at the Apple Store so I decided to arrive about 15 minutes before the store opened. My name was put on the list and I was told it would be about a 30 minute wait. I walked around the Falls a bit, went back to the store after about 20 minutes, checked in and was assisted after several minutes. The employees were friendly and knowledgable. The technician that looked at my phone immediately assessed my problem and provided me with a replacement iphone. I was in and out of the store in about 20 minutes. I couldn't have asked for better speedy service. Now fingers crossed that I make it another 7 years without needing assistance with my Apple products! read more

What a wonderful experience today.... Due to convince I have either purchased my I-phones/ I-pad at AT&T or through the Apple Store online. Today I went the store to purchase the Apple Watch and Richard was wonderful, he not only showed me the watch I asked for but also switched out a few bands so I could see different combinations that samples were not available. He showed me all the things the watch could do and then took me over to the set-up table where although they wee super busy, the associate that was there( I do not remember her name) helped me with setting up my watch and made sure all was working properly before I left. Went in the other day very nervous because my iPhone 6 had stopped charging after a very wild night out. Although it was overwhelmingly busy, their friendly staff made sure to accommodate my needs right away. I wish I had gotten the name of the guy that helped me. He wasn't able to fix my phone but assured me right away that I would be getting a new one free of charge. I was in shock at how knowledgeable he was, had an answer for every question I asked him.
