Pizza was great, vibe was pretty much the most generic Anywheresville, USA one could get. The art on the wall was COMPLETELY AI generated raccoons, which in southern Oregon is super sad. There's countless amazing artists in the area that would kill to put art up, and these guys phoned it in so hard it's not even funny. It really begs the question...the hell else did they phone in? Service was great, wings were mid. The AI bothered everyone in our party. Just....why?!

Brilliant place on the river! Outside setting is just what I needed. Cornhole offering was a bonus. Food and service could not be better, super friendly and beyond delicious. We will be back for more pizza and cider as soon as possible.

What a surprise how a small pizza joint has transformed into an amazing Cider House serving delicious stone baked pizza! The cider selection is huge, the pizza is amazing and the ambiance is perfect. The staff is super friendly too. We will definitely be back; this place is a great find in the Applegate.

We got to experience this place for a friend's birthday party. The atmosphere, food, vibe and staff were great. Definitely going back to try more on the menu

Decided to order every appetizer and dessert they had on the menu during Saturday afternoon happy hour. Pleased at what consistent high quality dishes, sauces, spicing and flavors were served. Was completely shocked at what they did with their amazing baked brussel sprouts, a vegetable I've always imagined the devil creating, as well as the broccolini spears that came with the potatoes ....the flavors and textures were pure bliss...as well as crispy potatoes, wings and arugula salad, warm donuts, and a seasonal take on bread pudding. 4 appetizers, 4 mixed drinks, 2 desserts all for under $120. Looking forward to returning to explore more tasty surprises that most assuredly await.

We sat down fast and ordered pretty quickly. I ordered a pesto bacon and egg biscuit sandwich it was 10/10. I actually used the raspberry jam my mom got with hers and mixed it with the biscuit which made me end up buying the jam to go. Fresh homemade jam for $8 what a steal!! I fell in love with this restaurant, it's too bad I don't live in Medford or I'd be a frequent customer.

One day we hopped in the car and said, "Let's drive down to Medford for the night." We found a…read morecheap hotel and as chance would have it, this little bakery was right around the corner. It is a small, intimate space where we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess and our waiter came by soon after we were seated. It was a chilly walk around the corner so I was looking for a hot coffee to warm me up. Having never been here before I opted for the special of the day, which was something with lavender in it, and I was surprised at the delicate way the latte both supported the robust coffee flavor and the delicate lavender addition. It was better than I anticipated and I knew that we had stumbled upon a gem of a spot that emphasized quality of what they serve. Now, for breakfast, I love a good gravy but I am always disappointed by my order. The country gravy is usually too thin, to bland, too chunky with some sort of meat product, and too small of quantity to really enjoy a good biscuit with it. With this skepticism in mind, I ordered the "The Works" assuming at the very least, the addition of fried eggs and ham were good enough to eat on its own when the gravy, which I also assume will disappoint me, runs dry. I apologize for my assumptions, ButterCloud Bakery, because I was served a thick, seasoned, peppery gravy and plenty of it. This is actually the best gravy I have ever ordered from a restaurant, if I was not traveling, I might have bought a few sides of this delicious concoction and brought it home for the next several mornings! Nothing skimpy on my plate. My husband ordered the beef and blue and devoured every last bite. I managed to steal a few bites off his plate and was pleasantly surprised, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I stole a few more bites when he was in the bathroom! We left very satisfied with our meal, our drinks, and our service. Fast forward a few months later and we are traveling with my parents to California and we insisted that we stopped by ButterCloud Bakery to share our gem of a find. My mom considers herself quite the cook and she also was skeptical of the gravy. One bite and her eyes popped...she was also impressed. This time round I had the scone and gravy and enjoyed every last bite. My mom tried a specialty hot chocolate and I, again, had the latte special of the day, both were rich with flavor. Our second round at ButterCloud Bakery did not disappoint and we have decided it will be our go-to spot when we are in the area, there is still a lot of menu items to try!

I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, asked for it on the rarer side since you never know with steak), and it came out perfect -- great char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Exactly how it should be. Also... don't skip the specials on the chalkboard there's always something worth trying. And the crepe berqueno is AMAZINGGG -- seriously out of this world. In my opinion, it's the best savory crepe ever. I always customize mine by adding egg and avocado and it never misses. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Him and his son Brandon take great care of their guests and make you feel like more than just a customer. Service can be a little slower at times, but honestly... give them grace. They're balancing a busy spot, connecting with locals, and creating a really welcoming vibe. It feels lived-in, not rushed -- and that's part of the charm. Nothing but love for this place. ‍
