My husband paid full price for this $2,000! UGH Really?! SMH! I waited about 15 minutes and I got called to the Genius bar and the guy looked at it and said YES we can fix it, NO problem! He went to the back and came back with my iPhone all fixed. I was HAPPY! That lady shouldn't say something she don't know. Because while I was waiting at the Apple store my husband called Apple and they told him the same " YES they can fix it and that lady doesn't know what she talking about". This has to be the worst Apple Store I've ever been to. There was a time when Apple Store employees were carefully picked or at the very least they were expected to know something about the products they sold. This apple store missed that time. Purchased a Mac book air for my daughter high school grad present. Alex helped us. He was great!!! Answered all our questions, was polite and did not rush us. Went back in a few weeks after because of a back to school special. Again, Alex helped us make the exchange with ease and in a timely manner. There is zero customer service or help available except for a 2 week wait to get an appointment at a geek squad at Best Buy. After waiting for my appointment time, I was told the problem was with my brick, I purchased another, just to get home and have the same problem, no charge and a dead I pad. Not impressed with the help at all. My iphone 7 plus got stocked on the apple logo. I googled it and seemed to be a common issue with this model. And the options were either try the recovery mode so it can be updated and keep all data or if that doesn't work then just do the default factory reset with which all data not backed up is lost. I tried the recovery mode and it didn't work but before trying the full resetting I thought I'd go to the apple store to see if their technicians had a way to recover my data as I hadn't backed it up for a couple of months and I had some really good pics, anyways they said waiting time was bout 3 and a half hours. I waited and was met by a technician and after explaini g everything she said she'd try the recovery mode which I knew wouldn't work and sure enough it didn't then she tried again and failed again ... Then she turns to me and say "unfortunately your phone is broken and is out of warranty, but don't worry we got you! Just give us your phone and 370 dollars and well send you a refurbished phone just like yours" I fliped out and told her I just wanted it reseted if recovering my data wasn't possible anymore. But she insisted the pho e was broken and resetting wasn't an option and kept pushing for me to buy another one or upgrade it for a newer one. So almost 4 hrs later I came out of that store tired and dessapointed, drove back home open my lap top open itunes, plugged it reseted it and guess what ... Voilá!! New iphone again no 370 bucks wasted!! So much for the "professionals" help. read more

ONCE YOU GO MAC, YOU DON'T GO BACK! I love my Mac and iPhone! It runs my life. But, horror of horrors!!!... the stupid phone won't show up in my iTunes when I plug it in! I quickly make an appointment... a few days later... (I'm busy so it took days ok!?) in Northridge... and the dude at the bar goes "It won't show up in your iTunes? NONSENSE! He plugs it into his computer and it shows up (TRAITOR!) then he unplugs the little traitor and told me to go plug it back into my home Mac. Of course when I did it at home, it didn't show up. Oh you little.... But what really gets me is the guy at the genius bar was condescending (really?! "NONSENSE?) and he didn't even try to do a good job of finding out if there might be something else wrong (hey, I went to Topanga after and they ran a diagnostic) and he wasted my time!!!!!! Nick was the person that was assigned to the table to take care of everyone at my table to go through the activation process and wiping the phone with ease and he didn't help one bit instead only helped out every Caucasian individual but foreigners were left unattended and just lost and confused including me. Other workers had to hop in and help us out which slows down the service they were able to help others with at the time. Nick shouldn't be out front with clients if he's going to pick and choose who to help out. read more

This is actually a good Apple Store, staffed by friendly and helpful people unlike Topanga and Sherman Oaks which have very snobbish and aloof workers. Apple Northridge's folks have helped me on multiple occasions when my Macbook Pro has failed yet again (under my extended warranty). read more

I locked myself out of my iPhone and had to go into the store for assistance. I put my name on a list and waited about 15 minutes. They were able to reset my phone and I only lost a day of info because my phone was backed up and everything was in the cloud. I have owned 2 iPods, 4 iPads, and my 27" iMac. I am done! I have stayed with you through all the crashes, the updates that cause your products to slow down and the apps from working properly. My current Iphone 7 plus that now has to be charged every 3-4 hours because it dies and worked absolutely fantastic right before the new iPhone came out. My incredibly expensive iMac that just crashed from simply updating to the new IOS and your store does not have a technician and does not allow walk-ins. So this is it, I am officially done! As soon as my last payment is done for my iPhone for life lease; I will be switching to a droid. Apple really knows how to train its employees well. I've always made an appointment online with the Genius bar (as the store can get crowded at times). Every employee has been nothing but helpful in solving my questions and concerns. I would recommend to park in the parking structure next to Old Navy if you are planning on getting in and out of the mall (without the pressure of shopping). P.S. Worst customer service ever, I take my iPhone 7 to get checked because the cell signal keeps searching, the guy that helped me take a look at my phone and said they were going to charge me for a new screen And charge me for the antenna to get fixed! It makes no sense for my screen to get fixed when there is nothing wrong with my screen!! One of the schedulers was quoting me 2hr wait, I walked out and went back a few minutes later and another scheduler took my phone to the back and did a quick clean and we are all good now. This review is for the apple product not the service I received at the Apple store. I went in with an appointment to get me gen5 ipod touch fixed since it wasnt starting up. The tech that assisted me advised me that if it doesnt start the unit has to be replaced. I asked her if it can be fixed and she says no..Apple does not fix Ipod touch. So she connected my ipod touch to her laptop and we waited. After a few minutes it came back with an error message saying it cannot connect to the Ipod. She then tells me the hardware is bad and the only choice I have is to replace the unit. She advised me itll cost me $129 and I have to give them my old ipod touch. This Apple store review is for Anthony. I was checked in for my Apple Genius Bar appointment and was promptly received two minutes after arriving at the line. Anthony was extremely polite and professional with his customer service. He was very hands on and knowledgeable about my concerns regarding our AirPods Pro and addressed the issue beforehand. Proper health protocol was observed throughout the store visit and he was kind enough to provide me an Apple paper bag at the end of the service. I'm not pleased with the customer service. Why do I have to wait to exchange an ear piece. I don't care how many people are waiting to get their computers fixed. When a customer is waiting for something less stringent, like and ear piece; it makes sense to get them in and out. Waiting the same amount of time as a new phone or computer issues is ridiculous. Additionally, I have been asked by the manager and sign in clerk "your welcome to purchase a new one". Now, why I the hell would I buy a new one when the one I have is under warranty??? We came for a class they had at the store. They had friendly staff around the store and at the entrance to greet people, check them in and give them approximate wait times. From what I could hear, the wait times were pretty long. But they were giving full attention to whoever they were helping. The class was informative with great instructors. Took them an hour to see us after we arrived on time for our apt. Once they saw us, took them 1.5 hours to replace a battery, of which, upon receipt, half the screen was lit up and it was restarting. They took it back and said it was a loose cable but ... on our way to the car the phone constantly restarted. This store? 3/4th of the employees are standing around talking to each other doing nothing while everyone else is waiting around for hours (even with appointments). Terrible store, terrible staff. Once Again the Apple Northridge store has disappointed me. I have four macs and two iPhones my question was will the new iMac load an SD card so I brought one. Of course it doesn't read it and the sales person wouldn't allow me to load it to see if this new machine would take the SD card. I remember when the Mac people were so good. I used to run an AV department at a major motion picture studio and during my tenure I completely went from 11 avid editing systems to Mac Final Cut Pro.
