I had high hopes for this place as it was recommended by a friend. My girlfriend and I went in later in the day and maybe because it was closer to closing time we felt rushed. Pedicure was great no issues but I got a full acrylic set with dip powder. The color was beautiful but as you can see in the picture two of my nails legit looked crooked and the tech refused to acknowledge or fix. Took a break from getting nails done and finally came back. Scheduled appt through fb for 630(they close at 730). I decided to try the dip technique for the first time w/tips. All was great, until the male tech started to notice it's not sitting good/not drying. He apologized and asked if I had time, at which point he took everything off and started from scratch. I totally appreciate the Customer Service here of doing a great job, and another person took over and All was well, but I did leave close to 9pm. I felt bad for them. The final product came out great. I absolutely HATE full sets as I'm super picky and the shape comes out bad the first time but my nails look great. And I'm not a picky person! I never mention a crooked nail or what color. What I thought would more or less would happen is they offer me maybe a discount for a refill. This way it's almost a guarantee I would come back. I got nothing. I am still coming back, bc in the end they fixed their mistakes bu re-doing the whole set, just thought it would a nice gesture. My main concern is that the salon chairs are very close to each other. You are almost shoulder to shoulder with their next customer. Was also surprised to get charged $10 for the removal of my dip polish even though I did a gel manicure. My bill was $103 until I questioned it and found out I was charged for a French manicure that I didn't even have. A gel manicure and jelly pedicure ran $95 after the French manicure was removed. I was also charged 3% for using my debit card. I wanted to make this my home salon but the search continues. I have been here twice and both times were unpleasant experiences. I usually choose to patronize business based on recommendations... most times it's a hit and in rare instances it's a miss in this instance it was a disaster times 2... because this place was recommended I tried it twice thinking the first time was maybe just a bad experience... however the second was even worse. The first time I came a few months back I came in for gel, I'm pretty simple, and I have strong healthy nails so no extra length, no acrylic, just plain simple nails, no design nothing... the idea around this salon is nice so I can get why people might like it... it's seemingly clean, they are in theory hospitable offering drinks and scents, but let's be honest the finish product is just as important if not more so than the add ons... I would definitely go some place that will do my cuticles without making me bleed on multiple fingers and have my gel polish looking great for more than two days and put my own scented lotion and grab my own drink if that's what it takes... yup first visit bleeding fingers and two day gel manicure before they were chipped and lifting... Fast forward a few weeks, I went back because my sister was looking specifically for a place with dip, ugh apple nails is still constantly recommended by ppl in the area so visit number two... now my sis gets dip all of the time... Apple advertises dip, but I'm here to tell you that is not the service they are performing... or at least not that day they didn't. They did not even do the paint job requested, it was just a total fail. The first hint should have been being shuffled around to three different people for one set of hands. They used dip powder but the process was a mix between acrylic and gel with dip powder but none were done to completion so it was literally a catastrophe. Furthermore, Ombré was the requested outcome, I couldnt even tell you what was done, but it wasn't that... when we questioned the methods we were told "you were told the price"... yes and we had no issue with the price but that's not what we got not only were the nails not ombré they didn't complete the dip process... they argued down without listening or explaining how they consider that dip, we ended up paying full price originally quoted although that is not the service that was received. Less than 24 hours later 3 of nails were broken... within 48hrs another 2 were gone. I would never step foot in this nail place again, I really wish people would stop recommending this place and furthermore stop patronizing it, it's a disgrace to the area and nail salons that actually know what they are doing and value their customers. read more

I never write reviews but this was so upsetting I had to vent somewhere. I'm pregnant so my nails grow fast. My tech asked if I wanted them cut down...there was PLENTY of nail to work with and I told her not a lot I like them long. She still cut short and to keep the rounded look, cut the corners of EVERY nail. I didn't realize until she started filing them and each one hurt so bad because it's newly exposed skin. Now I have a cut on one nail and the rest look horrible! It's like she shaped them the way she wanted and didn't care. Now my nails will grow in and it'll look stupid. HORRIBLE! Yet if you read my previous review, I said my nail tech took a long time because he was busy answering the phone etc etc. So I became a little worried that they're not open even though all their sites state they open on Sundays mostly becuz I invited a friend who lives 40mins away to come with. I didn't want to waste her time. I arrive and yes they're open but no my appt was not confirmed. Ugh. Despite that little annoyance, my nails came out beautifully. But the nail tech, Kaitlynn charged me an extra $5 because she changed my nail shape from round to almond. The whole time she said that my nails are too short to be almond shaped so I prob should stick to the usual round, so I said ok, we can just keep it round. But she shapes my nails to almond shape perfectly and once she's done, tells me she will charge me $5 more for taking the time to shape them almond. That just did not make sense at all even more because I have gotten my round nails shaped to almond with No charge at this salon. And also, honestly, how hard is it to file my nails a few more times to shape them a certain way? What the heck. I made a statement to the cashier and she just shrugged her shoulders which annoyed me even more. For that, I am rating the original 4 to 3 stars. I really like this salon but you can't be upcharging customers without prior notice or for services that shouldn't have been upcharged. read more

It's very clean and brand new, but the service was mediocre. The man at the front was welcoming and friendly, but the man that did my pedicure was awful. I was there a total of 45 minutes and soaked my feet longer than my entire pedicure. Even though there weren't people waiting, my pedicure was extremely rushed. I was left with exfoliate still on my legs that I had to brush off like sand while drying and part of my nails weren't even completely painted. The technician didn't help carry my shoes over to the dryer or even help me out of the chair. He just finished and told me to dry, the disappeared to the back. I kept thinking "this can't be it?!?", but it was the least relaxing and fastest pedicure I've ever had. I would not recommend this place. read more

To their credit I did return the next day because 4 of my nails the gel was already peeling after 24hrs so the manager re did those 4 nails. I had been here a few times before but boy oh boy. This last visit was the end. First - the nail tech tried to upsell me by claiming that I needed a full set because I had a dark color on my nails. I had chosen an even darker color for this visit so I assured him that I did not need the full set. After calling the manager over to continue the upsell - I was able to finally get him to proceed with just the refill. The manicure looked okay. I like a good straight edge with rounded corners but these corners were actually sharp! 3 days into the manicure (a good one of which usually lasts me 3 weeks) - the corner polish of my pointer fingernail chipped right off! Of course - I end of picking at the rough edges and the entire nail chipped right off. I have never had this happen. And so much for his claim that I needed a full set to remove the color underneath. I got a pedicure and an SNS manicure. This was my first time at the shop and the staff was very nice and friendly. Both my manicure and pedicure came out great. I checked in and received $5 off my services. I would definitely come again. UPDATE: a week later 5 of my nails completely popped off. I have been going to Apple Nails for over a year now. For some reason, I kept wanting to give them a second chance because it felt like every other visit was good. Then I would go back again and have a horrible experience. Today, the owner ripped half of the first layer of my daughter's nail off. When I complained, he tried to say that it was the powder. When we insisted that it was her nail, he bent it back even further. There was no apology, no offer to refund any of the money. Like I said, this is not the first time we have had a bad experience. Prior to relocating to FL three weeks ago, have been going to this nail salon for 2 years and my experience has always been positive. At first, my nail tech was Amy (she's the older short lil lady) and again pleasant but she left (now she's back) but in her absence, started going to others then they left until I settled on Nancy. Nancy is detailed and she gives long pedicure massages!! If you know what I'm talking about long leg & foot massages are so hard to come by and this was a reg pedicure.. so yup def missing that!! Nowadays, technicians spend 5 seconds on the massage if you're lucky; a shame. And when it came to my nails and toe nail polish, it was always neat and long lasting well thank the gel polish for that but you get the gist.. I really miss this place bc the spot I went to in Plantation FL last Saturday were too expensive and horrible all I could say is "for the same service Jersey didn't overcharge me" guess FL is need of $$ so now, I'm on the look out for a new nail salon.. too bad I don't fly like Superman bc otherwise this nail spot will still be my to go place, just fly there every other Sat and I'm good!! read more

The nails are okay. Not better or worse than other salons. The facility is clean and new. However, every time I come here I end up paying much more than I expect. I paid $70 for a gel full set and a regular pedicure. Which really should have only been $60. There are always additional hidden fees apart from the menu which don't make much sense, so be wary of that. To add insult to injury, they don't accept visa like they say they do. You have no choice but to use their atm which charges a total fee of $3.50. I won't be back here anytime soon. read more

This place is horrible. I kept giving them another chance, after past issues, but will never go back. Went for a manicure and the technician did nothing but paint my nails. When I inquired about my cuticles not having been cut, she said she would do it after she painted them. Who does this? They were not soaked, nor soft enough to cut, (and they were already painted) so my nails look awful. This was NOT a manicure, and certainly not worth $40 plus tip.
