Dropped my Apple Mac laptop off for a diagnostic and repair on a Wednesday. I was told that it would be looked at and repaired within 5 days. I received no call from them. Ever. No communication what-so-ever from them. Had I not called them to ask what the status of the repair was after 10 days of waiting, I would have no idea that the only person who could make the simple repair was out of the country!!! I picked up my laptop and went elsewhere. Once looked into by a properly certified (by Apple) repair person, not only was the wrong diagnostic given by APPLE ER, but also was quoted a price that was much higher than the certified dealer. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful my experience with Apple ER here in Hallendale Beach in the Blvd. My screen on the 12 went dark sure to water damage. The gentlemen owner was well receding to me. He immediately took my phone as of it were my baby. He looked at it and said I can fix only the top little gadget where it detects but the Face time most likely not, After hours at Apple at Aventura, ATT my carrier no one can help just change me for a new phone. It's our annual family tradition that every summer we break the glass of our ipad. Last year we took it to be repaired at a place on Hallandale by 95 (next to the Payless Shoes, I can't remember the name) and this year, we tried a new place closer to our apartment. I'm so glad that we did. We were greeted by the most friendly smile and helped by a true gentleman. What I really loved about Apple ER was that you could see into the area where your item is being repaired. Our ipad was fixed in a matter of hours and is in tip top shape. The price was around $130 (lower than most places we've seen) but worth every penny. Sounds crazy, but I'm already looking forward to visiting again when we break our ipad next summer. I wish they would invest in having ability to do everything digitally because asking for the your name and put a sticker on your product with phone number only goes so far. I brought my phone to this location to be serviced for a screen repair. I left my phone with an employee for an hour and was told to come back. When I returned I was told that it couldn't be fixed as is and was returned my phone. I was told to bring the phone back the following day and they could attempt to fix it. Once I got into my vehicle, I realized my photos and texts had been looked through. I found my pictures scrolled back to the beginning, as well as my texts. There is no doubt in my mind what the technician was doing and I was obviously disgusted. I would avoid this establishment. I wasted my time and had my privacy invaded! This place is great. I got my iPhone 6 screen replaced for $120 and it comes with a 90 day warrantee in case I am a repeat offender. While I was there I was also able to pick up one of the iWatches they had in stock for $320. They have a ton of accessories as well as new and unlocked phones to choose from. My phone broke while on vacation to visit family for a surprise party. the screen and the technical part of the phone broke (where you can't see your screen anymore). My friend came to Florida with me and I was screwed because I had all of our contacts and the Apple store told us they could see us days after we would be back in Texas. Literally a miracle to find Apple ER, walking home from Walmart after the mall and it was our luck it was the last store in the shopping strip right next to our hotel. The man took us in and fixed my phone, keep in mind they closed in 30 minutes, very kind of him to take in such a last minute request. Really nice owner (Jose), and incredible customer service....We were staying at the Beachwalk Resort next door, and had an iPhone 5s with a broken screen that was no longer responsive to touch, and the button stopped working. Jose gave us a quote to repair the screen and the button, and we let him know we had to have it ready the next morning. When we went into the store, he explained that the button had been replaced a couple of times already, and they still couldn't get it to work - and as a result would have to change the whole piece the includes the charging port. He pledged that he would do the work for the same quoted price, and not charge any more for the more expensive part. BUT - the problem is that we were checking out of Beachwalk and heading down to South Beach that morning - Jose offered to bring the repaired phone down to Miami Beach after he closed the store, meeting us somewhere halfway. He ended up bringing the phone to the restaurant in Miami Beach where we were having dinner. Phone works great, we paid the price he promised, and he went way out of his way to deliver the phone to us after working hours.
