Hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The associate, Shawnda,…read morecould not have been more rude or unprofessional. We waited in line for a long time even though the store was empty. When it was finally our turn, she didn't even look at us or say hello. With her back turned, she said, "I'll be with you in a minute." Another employee noticed how slow and dismissive she was and kindly tried to help, but she immediately got defensive and wouldn't let him. She eventually rang up our items, then walked away while the payment was processing. When the screen froze, I asked if it had gone through. She snapped, "It's processing." I said it would have been nice to know that instead of standing there with no communication, and she snapped again, "I can't make it go faster." That's not what I was asking. I just wanted basic courtesy. Her tone and attitude were completely out of line. The other employee then checked and told us the payment hadn't even gone through. At that point I told them to forget it and walked out. I went straight to UPS, where I was helped immediately and treated with respect. The difference in professionalism was night and day. FedEx seriously needs to do better. The fact that I even have to leave a public review because FedEx makes people call to file a complaint is ridiculous. I'm not wasting my time explaining this on the phone. This review is my complaint, and I'll be taking all my business to UPS from now on.

I was really grateful for them clearly explaining a few different options and solutions that would help me fix or transfer data off my phone, and the relative price points of each. I feel like clear communication for this type of service is essential, and the shop really shined at it. Prices were fair and service was quick. They were able to replace my screen while I waited, allowing me to transfer data to my new phone and keep my old phone around as a spare device. While I was there, I saw the team very gracefully handle, a variety of customers, patiently and graceful, even when they were being difficult. 6 stars for this shop and team.

I also got my IPad back in worse condition than I dropped it off with glue everywhere on the device and the screen not even put back in to the iPad. (I dropped this off because it was not charging. Now I'm dealing with a screen problem. They also said the screen glitches now in the corner. THANKS! This is not a professional place. The excuse was that iPads cannot open from the back because it's an enclosed case... (what device is these days!!) They do not have the skills or the right tools or the professionalism, I don't know how they have more than 2 stars. You've been warned. Lifesavers. I know…read moreI speak for many people when I point out that our phones, for better or for worse, are pretty much our lives. When my phone smashes into a metal table shattering the screen and rendering it unusable (the day before a major work event, at that), my life is suddenly at a standstill. I panic. I can't contact anyone. I can't access any important documents. Can't see work emails. I can't even call an Uber. I am not okay. This kiosk is conveniently located outside of Best Buy so that when you come out of Best Buy after they tell you they can't fix your phone, iCell is there waiting for you - waiting to be your savior. The woman who worked on my phone had to have some actual experience working in phone factories or something. She performed serious surgery on it, dissecting each part with skill and ease, and once she put it back together I had a brand new functioning screen. I'm usually extremely skeptical of mall kiosks, but this one challenges the stereotype. They saved me from having to spend $1200 on a new phone, and for that, I am infinitely grateful.

After my phone was stolen, I spent two days getting the runaround from Verizon and Apple. I walked into this store upset and at my breaking point. Gavin gave me his full attention and then spent 2.5 hours fighting with Verizon customer service on my behalf. I watched them hang up on him three times. He never gave up -- he said the customer needed to be helped, and he meant every word. Four hours later, everything was resolved. He got me exactly what I needed plus a $150 bill credit. If you need help and want someone who truly takes their job seriously, go see Gavin. He doesn't just deserve a great review -- he deserves a medal and a promotion. Honestly, just top down, it was surprisingly how such a small issue was handled so poorly…read more The issue was cosmetic and the fact that I like to connect my devices (that can) directly to my router using an Ethernet cable and not WiFi. Pic A is how it began and Pic B is how the first tech left it. Said he didn't have the part and that I may need to buy it. Called my building's rep who was not very helpful and then called tech support (1-855-690-9105) I spent a lot of time on the phone with tech support who swore up and down that Verizon has all parts and that I shouldn't have to pay. They sent another tech, Cesar, who left it like the Pic C - was very upset and called tech support who this time said she couldn't find my account - that did not help matters. Called tech support again (who found my account) and even let them view through my phone's camera and they were baffled and said the techs should have it. Got the DC office manager who said he'd ordered the part...see the text pic and I bet you can guess what happened. A 3rd tech came by who was honest and said they just didn't have this part in the warehouse. Eventually I just bought the part myself and finished it myself (Pic D and Pic E) and I'm lucky the part came with extra screws as Cesar must have tossed some. It appeared as though the building Verizon rep was going to compensate me but it has been a month and I haven't heard a peep. See the email pic. If you claim a building is Verizon ready, then please have all the parts - making your customers buy anything to finish the job is just an embarrassment.
