I was there 3 hours and only saw Dr Kincaid when he gave me the numbing shots and that took 11 different injections to get it numb. The office and their attorney would not compensate me. Because of the work she tried to do, she caused an abscess and an infection. I had to seek out an emergency dentist to have teeth pulled because they couldn't save the teeth due to the damage that Ms Claudia Kincaid caused. I asked her repeatedly if she was a dentist and she said yes. because of the missing teeth, I had to go from a partial to a denture. All because of the damage she caused and the infection with the abscess. They never, they meaning Dr Kincaid, Claudia, Kincaid, and their attorney, took responsibility for their actions. They strung me along for months when I was trying to settle, so I wouldn't have to sue them and then they just quit contacting me. I didn't report them to the Kansas dental board and/or the police. I should've done this at the time, but I didn't want to put their office out of business. It's not too late and I'm doing this now. So to Associates in Dentistry, i've waited all this time for you to acknowledge your responsibility. I'm calling the Kansas Dental board TODAY as well as the police to report your misconduct. written you many times and sent you emails and since you don't respond, this is my only choice. Also, at the time, Claudia Kincaid owned Associates in Dentistry so this report will include the business as a whole as well as the Dr. Kincaid and Ms. Claudia Kincaid. This time, I have an attorney. I dreaded it for DAYS but when the moment finally came, I was stressed out yes, but the staff were super nice and friendly and I was eligible for gas which lessened my anxiety by A LOT. Also they always kept me in the loop as to what they were doing and I was never belittled or made to feel like I was an awful person (I am super self-conscious about my teeth) and they actually made a plan with me for future appointments. 100/10, the best dental experience I've ever had and they are GREAT with dental anxiety. I had asked several people what I was in for and got everything from the bulging eyes and vigorous nodding when I asked, "Does it hurt?" to "I nearly passed out from the pain!" None of these folks had been to see Dr. Van Blaricum. Well, I almost didn't go. But, I knew I had to and Dr. Van Blaricum had my crown on in no time and it never hurt at all. I had brought a book to read and had hardly read any of it when it was time to put the crown on and after that it was a breeze. I have been very fortunate to have healthy teeth although I have worn dental braces for a number of years, as a child as the alignment of my teeth was extremely bad and would have led to losing my teeth at an early age and having to wear dentures.
