When I arrived for the appointment I was greeted by Amber who was just as friendly and even though she was wearing a mask, you could hear her smile. Rosanna was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth ~ again, so very friendly! After my teeth were all shiny clean, Dr. Hall came in to give my teeth the once over. I'm so glad Dr. Hall's office was recommended to me!

My mother's experience with Topeka Oral Surgery was one of the worst medical encounters we've had…read more I was in the room for the entire extraction. The dentist was rough and impatient; my mother was making noises from pain and clearly distressed. I stayed quiet to avoid escalating the situation, but the lack of compassion and gentle technique was obvious. During the procedure an assistant walked in from another room without gloves, handed the dentist an instrument, and he immediately placed it in my mother's mouth -- shocking and completely unsanitary. After the extraction my mother was left in severe pain. The assistant told us she had sent the prescriptions for pain medication and antibiotics, but when we went to the pharmacy nothing had been submitted. We waited in the parking lot for over an hour until the office returned from lunch and finally sent the scripts. This delay and the poor communication showed a dangerous lack of urgency for a patient in pain. Additionally, they kept my mother's original partials and never returned them despite requests. Given how unprofessional the process was, I have reason to suspect those partials may be reused or resold -- which would be both unethical and unsafe. These offices appear to coordinate with Michel Dental next door who referred my mother to them; my mother later received dentures from that practice that did not fit at all (oversized upper plate, uneven and painful lower plate). The combined experience felt exploitative and disrespectful. This was negligent, unsanitary, and deeply upsetting. I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere -- find a provider who values hygienic practice, clear communication, and basic respect for patients, especially seniors.

There classic rock wafting throughout the office as you're greeted by a team who wrote the book on customer service. When you walk in to the room where you will meet the dentist, you will immediately notice the pastoral landscape from the giant picture window. The experience was pleasant even when i was numbed with three needles. Dr. Spear has a sharp but delightful sense of humor and there's no need for laughing gas when you have a Dentist with humor like this. Meg, his dental assistant is wonderful as well as she will reassure you all throughout the procedure. When it was finished a saw another assistant through the picture window feeding the wildlife as i stared through the big glass window. Squirrels, rabbits and birds were being cared for and you will be too. Cheers!

Ashlie was my dental assistant and I was able to get a few questions in when her hand wasn't busy inside my mouth. Ashlei does hair as well and has a passion for good dental hygiene because she wore braces twice, and I had them once as well. Dr. Christine wasted no time getting in the chair after my X-rays were finished and deep cleaned in between my teeth. We were able to chat about the origin of my new last name and the current events that have recently turned all of our lives upside down. I'm sure my previous review was fueled from emotion and things going unexpectedly, but this visit has been the best one yet! I really appreciate the staff minimizing customer contact and being attentive to my needs by making notes for next time so it's even more comfortable. This has been and will be the only place I come for all my dental needs. Thank you Gentle Denistry team for always taking care of me, even at times I did not deserve it.

He gave me very clear instructions on what to do before and after surgery and a laminated page of instructions to make sure I would remember. He has always been sedated for his regular dental work at our dentist's office in Lawrence, and does well there. We love our regular dentist, but he cannot remove impacted wisdom teeth, so we needed an oral surgeon. We went to 2 oral surgeons in Lawrence for consultations. Both told us to go to the hospital for the sedation and extractions. It seemed to me like they were more afraid of the word "autism" than anything. A friend recommended Oral Surgery of KS and Dr. Ferrell specifically. WOW. What a nice guy ~ professional and compassionate. He was amazing with my son. We were able to do the consultation with the doctor answering my son's questions on his level, then meet alone with the doctor. The actual oral surgery was done immediately following the consultation. So, there were no hours or days of anxiety between the consultation and the surgery. We went to the Topeka office. The office staff was friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Farrell and this office. I wish we had found him first.

It was our first visit there as we are new to Lawrence and we had an excellent experience. We were treated as if we had been regulars. Taylor did my x-rays Zander cleaning. She explained everything as she went along and went over the x-rays with me. I really appreciated that. Then Dr. Keith Jones visited, checked each tooth and pointed out any problem spots out on the x-rays also. He discussed any problem areas and answered my questions. I was very impressed with everyone's friendly, helpful mannerisms. I would definitely recommend Lawrence Dental Centre if you need a dentist in Lawrence, KS.

I dreaded it for DAYS but when the moment finally came, I was stressed out yes, but the staff were super nice and friendly and I was eligible for gas which lessened my anxiety by A LOT. Also they always kept me in the loop as to what they were doing and I was never belittled or made to feel like I was an awful person (I am super self-conscious about my teeth) and they actually made a plan with me for future appointments. 100/10, the best dental experience I've ever had and they are GREAT with dental anxiety. Will definitely be going back. My only critique is the office in Lawrence is a liiiiittle difficult to spot if you don't know what you're looking for. But I'd say it's worth it.

Amy Leiker does amazing work but I cannot recommend this company to anyone…read more I have been a patient at Today's Dentistry for almost 10 years. The trouble started when I had a filling done last year and then moved shortly after. In the craziness of moving, I forgot to update my address with my dentist and the payment notices never made it to our new address. Instead of calling me (my phone number did not change), they sent my $58 account balance to collections. The collection notice came to my new address and the balance was paid immediately. Today we called to schedule our routine cleanings and were told that we are not allowed to come back since we had been sent to collections. Any normal person would see that the nonpayment was purely accidental and remove the hold on our account but, instead, they would rather stick to policy and see a loyal patient go. I can't believe that thousands of dollars spent on dental care and my glowing recommendations over the years didn't even buy us one ounce of good will. tldr; they care more about the money than their patients...
