He…read morehas been my dentist for at least 20 years and I'll be darned if I'm changing just because I'll be living 16 hours away. To date, I have had 1 cavity filled and had a crown put on a cracked tooth. I was terrified when I walked into the office not knowing what to expect. I had asked several people what I was in for and got everything from the bulging eyes and vigorous nodding when I asked, "Does it hurt?" to "I nearly passed out from the pain!" None of these folks had been to see Dr. Van Blaricum. Well, I almost didn't go. But, I knew I had to and Dr. Van Blaricum had my crown on in no time and it never hurt at all. I had brought a book to read and had hardly read any of it when it was time to put the crown on and after that it was a breeze. I really can't say enough good things about the great team and teamwork at this dental office.

However, since they were already in my mouth, I asked them to take a look and see if my stitches (completely different issue) were able to be removed. He cut them out, which was nice, but then all of a sudden I'm charged $71 for 5 seconds of work!? A little communication goes a long way, and warning someone of ANY charges, especially when I was already concerned about how much the emergency was going to cost, is the right thing to do.

I dreaded it for DAYS but when the moment finally came, I was stressed out yes, but the staff were super nice and friendly and I was eligible for gas which lessened my anxiety by A LOT. Also they always kept me in the loop as to what they were doing and I was never belittled or made to feel like I was an awful person (I am super self-conscious about my teeth) and they actually made a plan with me for future appointments. 100/10, the best dental experience I've ever had and they are GREAT with dental anxiety. Will definitely be going back. My only critique is the office in Lawrence is a liiiiittle difficult to spot if you don't know what you're looking for. But I'd say it's worth it.

Dr. Heinbach and Dr Hay (practicing as Personalized Family Dental Care, PA) have a great little…read moredental practice here. The whole family just joined as new patients (based on extensive kudos from Angie's list) and they do everything about new patient intake well. Great with children too. Both docs, two receptionists, and all three hygienists I dealt with were fantastic. The office is also very well appointed and centrally located. Love it here.

Family friends children departed also due to incorrect crowns, which this office strangely has you sign contracts for the warranty on them so you cant leave. Over the years spent well over $6K with this office and was about to spend another several thousand $, but thankfully woke up and will spend that with a dentist who is more focused on great experiences rather than $. I began to notice this $ focus about the third cleaning when the hygienist constantly tried to upsell me. I had to switch hygienist it was so annoying, plus she was very aggressive on my teeth. Second, when asking questions on billing, the front desk lady Mona had a temper tantrum in front of customers. Final draw was when I went in for a service and was told it would be no charge on "3" different occasions, one while sitting in the chair. Next week, got a bill. Called to discuss it with Kelly who only returns calls when, you guessed it, $ is due. All that came of that convo was disregard of being told there would be no charges and repeating argument that all services are ran through insurance and the bill is due. All around poor experience, poor attitudes, lack of knowledge of crowns, and $ over customer experience.

It was our first visit there as we are new to Lawrence and we had an excellent experience. We were treated as if we had been regulars. Taylor did my x-rays Zander cleaning. She explained everything as she went along and went over the x-rays with me. I really appreciated that. Then Dr. Keith Jones visited, checked each tooth and pointed out any problem spots out on the x-rays also. He discussed any problem areas and answered my questions. I was very impressed with everyone's friendly, helpful mannerisms. I would definitely recommend Lawrence Dental Centre if you need a dentist in Lawrence, KS.

My experience with this lovely group of pros started with the first call to the office where a beautiful voice answered. Alissa got me in within an hour to see Dr. Reed. The entire team made my experience pleasant; soothing music, a modern and tastefully decorated super clean environment! Michelle and Chandra did the initial intake and at that point I knew it must be a top down attitude where the patient's care is foremost. Dr. Reed was able to place the implant back in and I was back at work by Noon! I am truly grateful to the care and attention to detail they all showed me today. Customer service? Dr. Harvey, Oral Surgeon is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Who knew that getting 6 teeth pulled would reduce…read moremy anxiety of going to the dentist! He has 5 locations in Kansas. I had 6 teeth pulled yesterday. Done in less than an hour. He gave me very clear instructions on what to do before and after surgery and a laminated page of instructions to make sure I would remember. Dr. Harvey is kind, funny and makes sure that you are comfortable. He personally called me after to check on me and answer any questions I may have. He has always been sedated for his regular dental work at our dentist's office in Lawrence, and does well there. We love our regular dentist, but he cannot remove impacted wisdom teeth, so we needed an oral surgeon. We went to 2 oral surgeons in Lawrence for consultations. Both told us to go to the hospital for the sedation and extractions. It seemed to me like they were more afraid of the word "autism" than anything. A friend recommended Oral Surgery of KS and Dr. Ferrell specifically. WOW. What a nice guy ~ professional and compassionate. He was amazing with my son. We were able to do the consultation with the doctor answering my son's questions on his level, then meet alone with the doctor. The actual oral surgery was done immediately following the consultation. So, there were no hours or days of anxiety between the consultation and the surgery. We went to the Topeka office. The office staff was friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Farrell and this office. I wish we had found him first.

First of all the staff at the front desk are very welcoming and friendly. The woman who cleaned my teeth and did my x-rays, Sarah, was very nice, gentle and also produced less mess when cleaning my teeth than any other place I've been! My doctor, Dr. Adams, was very nice and knowledgeable and even answered my questions on Invisalign. There were no problems with my Delta Dental insurance and I walked out with a great experience. I recently met her new DentAl Hygienist; Anna and she was very good. She made me feel at ease and comfortable and prepare me for my upcoming implant procedures. I will highly recommend this Dental Clinic. I will also add that getting immediate appointment is difficult because they get so busy and made it hard to get in but this is to their advantage.
