Dr. Derek Durbin is amazing, kind, and cares about me as a patient. He even remembers me every time I come in. The 2 dental hygienics that i have been seen by are awesome as well. Amy Leiker does amazing work but I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I have been a patient at Today's Dentistry for almost 10 years. The trouble started when I had a filling done last year and then moved shortly after. In the craziness of moving, I forgot to update my address with my dentist and the payment notices never made it to our new address. Instead of calling me (my phone number did not change), they sent my $58 account balance to collections. The collection notice came to my new address and the balance was paid immediately. Today we called to schedule our routine cleanings and were told that we are not allowed to come back since we had been sent to collections. Any normal person would see that the nonpayment was purely accidental and remove the hold on our account but, instead, they would rather stick to policy and see a loyal patient go. I can't believe that thousands of dollars spent on dental care and my glowing recommendations over the years didn't even buy us one ounce of good will. tldr; they care more about the money than their patients... read more

I have seen several of the hygienists and they all do great work. When I have had dental work done (cavities, caps, etc.), they have worked with my schedule and treated the problems well. I have been a patient at Today's Dentistry for more than 30 years. I started by seeing Dr. Bob Durbin and now see Dr. Derek Durbin. The entire team makes me feel like family. I especially appreciate my hygienist, Shannon. She is always kind and gentle on my teeth. As a kid I had a ton of cavities but the team always gently guided me to better oral health. I was in to this office, within the last month, as well as six months ago, and I had issues with Amy Leiker. The hygienist cleaned my teeth very well, both times, but, the, first time, the hygienist checked over my teeth for cavities, as well as cleaned my teeth, and took down my health history. Then Amy Leiker breezed into the office, and procaimed, "I hear you grind your teeth at night!" I said, "I never said that! I said that, years ago, a dentist ground my two front teeth down for a cosmetic look." She proceeded to try, and convince me to have my front two teeth capped!" I said, "That happened thirty years ago! No one's told me to have my teeth capped!" She said, "Well, they're cracked!" Then, within the last month's visit, the hygienist cleaned my teeth, and I complained about my first visit. The hygienist said Amy would be in to check my teeth. Again, Amy flew in, and cried, "So you have allergies!" I said, "I never said that! I said I had had bronchitis which polyps in my sinuses, and they had to be removed." I informed the hygienist Amy Leiker had NOT checked over my teeth." She said, "Oh, yes she did!" I said, "No she did not, and that's the second time she's been wrong on my health situation!" At the front desk, I realized I hadn't gotten a next appointment time. I told them I felt Amy Leiker was just making the hygienist do all the work, so she could "line people up on a runway, and make money!" I was told the card would be in my bag - but it wasn't! Now, I've received a snotty letter, from Amy Leiker, that I've been dropped as a patient, and my "appointment cancelled" - yet, I had never received an appointment, and I had, already, told them I'd never be back! read more
