It is a unassuming place with a very friendly environment inside. You can get a full or a 1/2 tenderloin sandwich. We were already advised to get the 1/2 and we are glad we did. This was the best tenderloin sandwich we have found. I am used to the pork tenderloin itself being relatively thin. This was almost twice the thickness of most sandwiches. However, it was very tender and juicy. We got some fries with it. The 1/2 sandwich was just under $10 They also have a pretty extensive menu, Great place, great food and very reasonably priced. Handicapped spaces are near the entrance and it is easy access for disabled personnel. This store was built about two years ago specifically as a Whataburger. On the north side of the building are spaces for those who placed orders to be brought out to their vehicle, and some use the spaces to place their order and come in for pickup. Upon entry, the lobby was clean, tables were clean, and we were greeted by a couple of the employees. For this trip we had a guest with us and this was his first trip to a Whataburger. Soft Drink options on the fountain include Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Root Beer, Sprite, and a couple others. Refills of those, as well as sweet or unsweetened ice tea, and coffee, are free. Napkins, straws, sturdy plasticware (separate fork, spoon, knife), and sweeteners for teat and coffee are located on the same bar as the fountain. Entrees can be ordered alone or as a "meal" which includes a medium fry and medium soft drink. As a general rule, the "meal" price is about $3.00 more than the entree price is so if you are going to get the entree and fry (medium fry is currently $2.99), you may as well get the meal since it generally does not cost much more, if you may be interested in any type of drink. Those can be upgraded to other items such as large fry, onion rings, or large soft drink or even a shake for the beverage. For my meal, which included the entree, fries, and soft drink ($12.29), I ordered the Triple Whataburger with cheese, extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. There is no charge for the extra vegetables mentioned. It makes a very nice complement with the burgers. The side was a medium fry which was hot and fresh. For the soft drink I got Diet Dr Pepper. The burger was hot, moist, yet not greasy. The vegetables were nice and fresh as if they had just been sliced or prepared. The fries were hot and fresh, not overly salted. The Diet Dr Pepper was brixed perfectly. My wife got the Grilled Chicken meal ($9.99) with an additional second grilled patty. Her chicken was very nicely grilled, moist, and not greasy. She also got extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. Fries were hot and fresh, drink was delicious. Our guest got the Double Meat Whataburger Meal ($10.58) with cheese, extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. He said it was the most delicious burger he has ever had. His fries were hot and fresh, and his Fanta Orange was flavored properly. Along with our meals our guest and I had Salsa Verde and Picante Sauce as our sauces of choice. With the meal you can get a couple of each at no charge. They are a nice option instead of ketchup though you can always get the Whataburger Ketchup if preferred. There are other sauces available as well for purchase. As we were eating, a few different employees stopped by to make sure everything was okay and how our food was. Of special note, the managing partner, Chris, had a few moments and met our guest. We also were blessed to have manager JayneAnn stop by and let us know it was good to see us and they looked forward to us coming back, thank you for coming in. An employee named Izzy also stopped by to see how things were and if we needed anything. During our time at the restaurant several other customers arrived and were waited on quickly yet caringly and professionally. We saw no problems with any of the other guest orders and everyone seemed to be happy. The temperature was very good in the restaurant. The temperature outside was right at 100F "actual" and about 118F "feels like" so it was nice that the air conditioning was working well. Restrooms were clean and stocked, well lit. What I found instead was a cozy little spot on the corner of Lexington and East Wall Street with made-to-order breakfast. I ordered the creamy sausage gravy and found myself a small table to enjoy it. While I was there, people were coming in and out--grabbing pastries, picking up to-go orders, or settling in with their laptops to work. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I was greeted right away by a friendly cashier and one of the baristas, which made me feel welcome from the start. I'd highly recommend Brick Coffee House if you're in the area--it's friendly, cozy, and definitely worth a visit.
