Well established not fancy. Just good good cheap and big portions. Husband and I slit the full size fried tenderloin. Wow. Huge. Delicious. Hand made. Highly recommend.

Home cooking! Nothing is frozen before it's cooked. Salad dressings are homemade! Nothing beats their homemade tea.

1/2 Breaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich with half order of fries. Nice and fresh.

We visited the Harrisonville MO Applebee's on two days in May…read more On 05-18 about 3:30 pm we had an excellent server Steve. I had the All You Can Eat Ribs/Shrimp/Chicken ($15.99) which were plentiful, tasty, and Steve was very attentive to the orders and re-orders. The honey BBQ sauce on the ribs was slathered on well so plenty to enjoy. The chicken was covered with Buffalo sauce and had plenty of sauce and a good flavor. The meal comes with unlimited fries as well as a small cup of cole slaw. The cole slaw was good as expected, the fries were Applebee's fries. My wife got the Lemon Parmesan Chicken ($14.99). It was tasty and well cooked and enjoyable. The meal came with steamed broccoli and was good. On 05-25 about 12:00 pm we had server Stacy. I again had the All You Can Eat Ribs/Shrimp/Chicken ($15.99) and the ribs were again well covered in sauce and tasted well. The shrimp was also good. The chicken this time barely had any sauce on half of them, and they were very hard and well overcooked, almost inedible, difficult to even cut with the knife. She was a bit perturbed when refills were requested but Steve happened to come by and say hello and refills did not seem to be a problem after that for some reason. I asked if I could have my cole slaw and the server went to the kitchen and returned with it, no comment of any type. My wife originally ordered the Quesadilla Burger ($15.79) as the picture of it looked very good. However, when it came out, it looked nothing like the photo and my wife definitely looked disappointed. She said it looked terrible (it did) and was smaller than a meal for a child (it was). The picture shows the regular Applebee's burger (1/4 lb?) but the burger on this was smaller than the burger on a fast food child sandwich (less than 3" diameter and less than 1/8" tall). Yes, I measured it. It also looked overcooked beyond being edible and my wife liked things well done, but this appeared to be well done twice. We asked the server about it as my wife said she would not eat it, the server said tat is how they make them here. My wife showed her the picture on the menu and the server said, yes, they do not make them that way here. Hmm. So, my wife ordered the Classic Cheeseburger ($13.49). When it came it looked better than the previously ordered item though it did not have the lettuce or tomato on it even though the menu says it comes with those. It had one slice of a pickle that came from the end of the pickle (about 1/2" diameter). My wife had a terrible day at Applebee's this day and does not want to return though we do have a few gift cards so we may try another Applebee's or request Steve upon our return. We left Applebee's and went around thew corner to Whataburger where she got a double cheeseburger that came with 5 slices of tomatoes, 5 pickles, grilled onions, and lots of lettuce, for two-thirds of the cost. Our experience in the two trips seemed to partially be impacted by the server you get. Some of it can also be how the actual meal delivered to the table differs from what is sown on the menu.  We had one pretty good experience and a second not very good experience.

Place was very clean, service was great , and the food tasted good as expected! The only reason I…read moresay 4* is because it is loud inside Edit- our server was LOVELY! He was very bubbly and nice

We visited Whataburger in Harrisonville MO on 07-27-2026 about 3:08 pm…read more Parking on the west side of the building is easy and clean, lines well spaced, trash containers located on each side of the main entry for travel convenience. Handicapped spaces are near the entrance and it is easy access for disabled personnel. This store was built about two years ago specifically as a Whataburger. On the north side of the building are spaces for those who placed orders to be brought out to their vehicle, and some use the spaces to place their order and come in for pickup. Upon entry, the lobby was clean, tables were clean, and we were greeted by a couple of the employees. For this trip we had a guest with us and this was his first trip to a Whataburger. Soft Drink options on the fountain include Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Root Beer, Sprite, and a couple others. Refills of those, as well as sweet or unsweetened ice tea, and coffee, are free. Napkins, straws, sturdy plasticware (separate fork, spoon, knife), and sweeteners for teat and coffee are located on the same bar as the fountain. Entrees can be ordered alone or as a "meal" which includes a medium fry and medium soft drink. As a general rule, the "meal" price is about $3.00 more than the entree price is so if you are going to get the entree and fry (medium fry is currently $2.99), you may as well get the meal since it generally does not cost much more, if you may be interested in any type of drink. Those can be upgraded to other items such as large fry, onion rings, or large soft drink or even a shake for the beverage. For my meal, which included the entree, fries, and soft drink ($12.29), I ordered the Triple Whataburger with cheese, extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. There is no charge for the extra vegetables mentioned. It makes a very nice complement with the burgers. The side was a medium fry which was hot and fresh. For the soft drink I got Diet Dr Pepper. The burger was hot, moist, yet not greasy. The vegetables were nice and fresh as if they had just been sliced or prepared. The fries were hot and fresh, not overly salted. The Diet Dr Pepper was brixed perfectly. My wife got the Grilled Chicken meal ($9.99) with an additional second grilled patty. Her chicken was very nicely grilled, moist, and not greasy. She also got extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. Fries were hot and fresh, drink was delicious. Our guest got the Double Meat Whataburger Meal ($10.58) with cheese, extra tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. He said it was the most delicious burger he has ever had. His fries were hot and fresh, and his Fanta Orange was flavored properly. Along with our meals our guest and I had Salsa Verde and Picante Sauce as our sauces of choice. With the meal you can get a couple of each at no charge. They are a nice option instead of ketchup though you can always get the Whataburger Ketchup if preferred. There are other sauces available as well for purchase. As we were eating, a few different employees stopped by to make sure everything was okay and how our food was. Of special note, the managing partner, Chris, had a few moments and met our guest. We also were blessed to have manager JayneAnn stop by and let us know it was good to see us and they looked forward to us coming back, thank you for coming in. An employee named Izzy also stopped by to see how things were and if we needed anything. During our time at the restaurant several other customers arrived and were waited on quickly yet caringly and professionally. We saw no problems with any of the other guest orders and everyone seemed to be happy. The temperature was very good in the restaurant. The temperature outside was right at 100F "actual" and about 118F "feels like" so it was nice that the air conditioning was working well. Restrooms were clean and stocked, well lit. We enjoyed our trip to Whataburger in Harrisonville and will be returning.
