We wanted to change the location of shower heads in our master bath shower (including re-plumbing) and replace the ceiling fan, but otherwise preserve the existing finish and tilework. Val came up with a thoughtful approach to minimize damage and rework, and offered a very competitive price (unlike several other contractors who wanted to make more extensive changes). He connected us with someone to help select the new hardware, and scheduled the job within a few days of us having the hardware delivered. Val worked incredibly efficiently and thoughtfully, taking just 2 days to complete the job and communicating with us throughout to ensure it was done right (e.g., placement of shower head, color-matching grout for the tile). He even improved the attic duct-work for the ceiling fan without us having to ask. I will not hesitate to use Val again for any similar projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and competent contractor.

I had a guess that the tiles originally came from this biz, and while I don't think that proved to be true, I really enjoyed my visit to Pratt + Larson to explore options. They have a wonderful display showroom where the tiles are laid out in various formations, even with an example shower and fireplace. There are so many wonderful options. They also have an outlet store with assorted amounts of tile that is great for a project like mine where I won't be fully redoing a room, just a patch repair.

Make sure that you are going to get your money back for those. Their samples are perfect but when you receive your tiles, you will have tiles that look like wedges and tiles that are curved. Something is happening in the pressing stage during their manufacturing and they are not level. This is the "magic" of tile that can create puddles and sharp raised corners.

We've purchased and installed 3 other quartzite countertops and never had a problem. This is the first time we ordered from Bedrosians and it was an unmitigated disaster. The stone immediately absorbed everything: water, oil, soap . . . Spots and streaks appeared everywhere within the first 2 days of use. For the record, we have used the same installer and sealer, A-Tech, for years and this has never happened. Yet Bedrosians first blamed A-Tech, then sent a guy out from the warranty department to try some Poultice Plus to remove the stains. This made the stains worse. Then they told us that they would "submit the pictures and information to their warranty department" which would take about 10 days. 18 days later, they sent a form letter with nothing but disclaimers, taking no responsibility for a flawed stone from a quarry with lousy quality control. Finally they again blamed A-Tech. We are disgusted by the way we were treated by this company after they sold us a bad product. We are considering litigation. We highly recommend shopping for your countertop elsewhere.
