Absolutely stellar repair shop! I started bringing my RAV4 to Dave's after my warranty expired…read morebecause the dealer (Swickard) kept upselling unnecessary services. I was really impressed with Dave's honest diagnosis and fair pricing, so I was a bit nervous when Edgar took over the business. Luckily, Edgar and his team are just as reliable - very efficient and have excellent diagnostic skills. In addition to regular oil changes, I've had my spark plugs replaced here, and their pricing was even better than the dealership. They also identified a couple of maintenance issues that the dealer completely missed, though it turns out they're not urgent. I appreciate that Edgar was upfront about this and just suggested keeping an eye on them for future maintenance appointments. On top of that, my glove compartment had been sticking for months - Edgar figured out the problem and fixed it in under two minutes! Great service, great people, and honest work every time.

Looking at their reviews, I was hopeful that this would be a good experience. And it was. The inspection was fast and reasonably priced and revealed four fixes for an equally reasonable price, and that they understood my intent was to keep my 2008 Nissan Rogue going for as long as I could. I was able to get an appointment fairly soon after I agreed to the fixes. They also gave me a discount after I posted a review of the initial experience with the inspection. I appreciated the respect, courtesy and lack of mansplaining. I also appreciate that they have a 12 month/12,000 mile guarantee for their fixes.

I took my wife's car in because it was making some noises while turning. The initial diagnosis…read morefrom my usual mechanic (aka "enter a description into ChatGPT and seeing what it says") was a possible CV joint issue. It turned out the skid plate had detached a bit, so the fix was as simple as reattaching it to the car so it didn't scrape against anything. Not only was it a quick fix (about six hours from drop off to pick up), but they didn't even charge the usual diagnostic fee, saying they wouldn't feel right charging it given how easy it was to find and fix the issue. So total cost was about $68. Quick service with a reasonable cost and honest approach? We'll be back again!

Then he quoted $750 without having anyone do an actual inspection. I said I still needed my oil changed and that I wanted to get my brakes officially inspected before making any decisions. The guy basically said no and then the quote went up another $60 plus tax because "we don't have the right parts" - I didn't appreciate that they didn't even look at the brakes properly. I knew they needed replacement but I hate that I got quoted such a high price without any real inspection Just straight highway robbery.

Doug gave us a very reasonable bid and fixed the car the same day. The car was repaired and back in the hands of our granddaughter within 24hours of the first phone call, all while we were remote. I can't say enough about Doug and the team taking care of this issue. Prices are reasonable and fair. I'd highly recommend Legend Automotive.

After having our Outback towed to their shop, George helped us throughout the entire process of diagnosing the problem and communicating with us every step of the way. We were shocked to hear from this team that our recent service visit to our dealership did not address our car issue, and charged us a huge premium to have other aspects of the car fixed. Bret's Auto Repair team clearly stated the main issues with the car, and were very transparent about the costs. We were already pleased with this experience. The following day after taking our car home, we encountered another issue that was unrelated to our previous issue that their team fixed. We contacted Bret''s Auto Repair team again and they were extremely accomodating, offering to check out the car again, and finding that there was another issue related to the battery that the dealership did not address at the last service. They then kept our car to work on it, and charged us extremely fair for our troubles. We couldn't be more thankful for Bret's Auto Repair for providing the best care for our vehicle and customer service. I'd advise anyone to check out Bret's Auto Repair for any issues regarding their Subarus before going to their dealership! They will be upfront and transparent, as well as communicate with you the whole way through!
