Update. Company called the next day and we agreed to a mutual time for window removal and install. All ended well.

Do they replace exterior/entry doors that aren't patio doors (just regular doors)?

I am not sure we used them for glass only. They were very good

Does Apex give customer options of upgrading the glass replacement (example low-e/ Low e-4 ,uv protection, krypton or argon air fills, temper glass, etc)?

Don't hire these guys. You'll be sorry. Four months after they damaged my window. It still has not been repaired. Remember I told you so.

Do They come out for just one window?

Yes. The guys from Apex, who worked for me, said that.

    Can they fix rotten wood?

    yes they do

Do they fix windows where the seal is broken?

Hi Jackie ... I am not sure about seal repair but if your insulated glass is fogging they drill into the inside pane to let air in since the fogging indicates it does not insulate anyway. I had them repair an e-glass crankout window and chose to…

So I called them again for a stairway window that was leaking air and in poor shape. I made an appointment but their truck broke down. I was very understanding and said they would call when fixed. Oxsana let me know they were coming on Wednesday. I had wanted him to come out before and assess the window, but he wouldn't do that. He finally showed up at 1:30 for a morning appt. Since I have mobility issues, he went up to look at the window. First he needed a place to work from so I said he could use the garage. Then he asked for paint. An hour later he was at my door telling me he was finished. I made my was upstairs and almost nothing had been done. Never needed any work space and no painting either. The windows were leaking to the point that it was taped. Basically, all he did was unstick the window and nothing else. I pointed out the tape and he said he hadn't noticed it. That's his job. He went back and caulked the edge of one window. For this we paid $450. My neighbor went to look at the work and was appalled. I was embarrassed. We feel completely ripped off. Asked for a receipt that was never sent. We are now hiring another company to do it over. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't call them.

This left a large area between our fireplace and side wall, which was plenty of space for her to work on her dance routines and teach our daughter ballet. We decided the best use of the blank wall would be to put a large mirror on it and turn the space into a personal, convertible dance studio. I took some measurements, a couple of photos, and emailed them to GlassWorks's general email address. It was a Sunday, and John called back 15 minutes later with a total, including install. (My measurements and photos were pretty detailed, so I doubted the price would change in the end). My wife and I debated about actually moving forward with the project and finally called John back a couple of weeks later. He came over the next day to take a quick look, measure it himself, and confirm the pricing was solid. I called back the next day to pay the deposit and wait to schedule another measurement and marking by his install team. It took a little while to actually get those guys out here because they seem to be pretty busy. It was about 2 weeks before they actually came out. The guys who came out, Carlos and Jesus, were extremely nice and professional. You could tell they really took their time to make sure everything was measured correctly and in the right spot (nothing in our condo actually lines up or is centered). They left the tape on the wall to mark center in case different installers came out to do it. It took another couple of weeks for the shop to fabricate the mirrors with cutouts for our outlets, then the install was scheduled. Carlos and Jesus came back out to install it. There was a little imperfection on the center edge of one of the mirrors. Carols pointed it out to me and it took a minute for me to actually see what he was talking about. Whether or not I saw it didn't matter, because they were already taking the steps to correct it. All in all, the process took about 4 weeks from John coming out, to having the mirrors installed. The time frame took a little longer than I expected, but that's what happens when you work with a company that is consistently busy. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous, from Sandy who answers the phones to Rammell who schedules the crew, it was great working with the GlassWorks team. I highly recommend them.

I was impressed by Howard the salesman who knew his buisness and his glass. The installers were great. I looked at and talked with at least 4 other glass companys before deciding on them. Im glad I did. Its not often anymore that you contract with a company and have zero problems or complaints afterward. Go with these guys, you will be highly satisfied.
