Cora at the front desk is basically the gatekeeper of calm--sweet, efficient, and didn't make me feel like I was signing up for a gym membership just to be seen. Maria the medical assistant deserves her own spin-off. Quick, friendly, and somehow managed to take vitals without making me feel like I was on trial. NP Sultana? Absolute star of the episode. Listened, explained, and actually cared--without the "Dr. Google" attitude. They tag-teamed like the Avengers of urgent care, and honestly, I left feeling healthier and entertained. They took me in when they were closing up, literally 30 minutes from closing. The front desk lady Moor was super accommodating and helped me with the paperwork. Even though close to closing the MA Jose was joking with us and handled the intake super fast and smoothly and then the provider Nebril came in and told me not to stress that there's plenty of time and gave me the best medical care. It's like the people in this place DONT want to work! He comes in and talks a mile a minute like he has somewhere else to be not giving me the chance to properly process what he's even saying. He goes on to say that he's job is to send me back to work which just gives the impression that regardless of whether or not im better he's going to send me back. It's not that I don't want to work I'm not refusing in any way but obviously if I'm not fully okay I don't feel it's right to go back. Not only that but the front desk lady was rude when answering a simple question. The doctor talks to patients like they don't understand when he doesn't give them a chance to even think . If I wasn't required to come here I wouldn't. 100% would not recommend, I would like to go to a doctor that makes me feel like I'm being heard and not like I'm an inconvenience. read more

Came in from falling 3 times at work trying to break up fights. Landed on my hip and knee. Dr came in. Took 3 min with me. Didn't do X-rays and pretty much dismissed anything I said about where I was hurting. Prescribed pain meds and muscle relaxers. Glad to know how easy it would be to I walk in, complain of pain and get pain meds. read more

received very detailed diagnosis and follow up, the doc called back to ask how we were. the nurse and the doctor were very calm, accommodating, thorough and friendly. the waiting room was extremely busy with standing room only when we went, so it took a couple hours, but no worries you can wait in your car or wherever because they call you when the doc is ready and text you approximately when it's estimated to be ready. always had surprisingly friendly service and patience from all considering how overwhelmingly busy they seemed. they called in the prescription we needed even before we drove straight to the pharmacy. more importantly everyone wore masks/shields etc, unlike other urgent cares i've gone to for a pediatric flu shot. ie they take the pandemic seriously. i would definitely return if need be. read more

If I couldn't have given this place a zero rating I would have. We all know why we head to urgent care facility. The rapid diagnosis, the short wait time and convince but this specific location fail two out of the three. I strongly suggest you go else where for medical care. My wife went to this location and was swabbed to identify if strep, flu or Covid was what she had. You would assume that results are given with in a few minutes but not this place. They send there swabs to a lab. My understanding is if test are negative, samples are sent out for culturing. This location completely skipped the rapid test. She was told that results will be given the following day. We waited till the evening to call and were told that the sample was not even received and the results will be available the following day. Again we waiting and call mid day and now we are told that there's a back log and that it's unsure when the results would be given. Completely failed the purpose an urgent care. We try to get a refund but they refuse. We understand that things happen within the medical field but the purpose of urgent care is to avoid all of these issues that are more common with a regular doctor's visit. Even they are more attentive to there patients. So please do not waste your time and go elsewhere. My suggestion go to Next Level urgent care. Better service and quick results. read more

Be careful with their deceiving billing practices. Don't give them your credit card info unless you know for sure what the full transaction fees are-TOTAL. POINT. BLANK. If I could do 0 stars, I would. My husband and I were charged $300 for 2 Covid-19 rapid tests! $300. When we actually have insurance. AND...when they said the fee was $150, the lady over speaker phone clarified after asking if it was $150 EACH, or for both? She said for both. Figured it was our insurance copay total for both. Well, afterward, we looked at the receipts further since we needed to submit them for our FSA company, and we realized we were charged $150 EACH. Had we known this, we would have never even stepped foot there. The urgent care up the street was only going to charge us copays. Kelsey Seybold would have been FREE with our insurance but it's a bit of a drive for us. We went there for convenience and we were suckered big time. When we called to put this to their attention, they were snide saying no insurance company covered the rapid testing. Interesting, because we just hung up with Cigna and they DO cover the testing. But now we need to submit the claim ourselves and get an itemized bill from them. And another thing, had we known the total was $300 BEFORE we took the test, and not $150 for both like they CLARIFIED, we would have just driven to Kelsey Seybold or the other urgent care instead. This is crap. So sad too because we have given this place lots of business over the years since their grand opening and referred plenty of people but never again. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Clean and spacious facility, nestled in a shopping center with ample parking. Check in was quick - nurse was polite and soft spoken. The doctor (Dr. Odili) was very helpful and thorough. He got straight to the point of my diagnosis and provided me a refill for one of my prescriptions so I wouldn't have to wait on my primary doctor. Loved how quick and great the service was. Much better than a lot of urgent care facilities I've been to. Definitely beats the wait time compared to emergency rooms. read more

I had originally come for a quick check-up since I haven't been eating well or keeping food down. Jashton was very helpful and kind, in any concern I had before the appointment and before being seen. My insurance didn't necessarily cover the visit and I didn't have the funds. I luckily had another insurance, but they didn't email me the card, but she informed me that she could look it up and found it. I'm grateful for the convenience they provided. Anja was Patient and kind as well when asking questions regarding my visit that day and because I have major anxiety, it made the experience way better. THIS PLACE IS WORSE THAN WAITING AT THE DMV FOR A LICENSE RENEWAL. They have the option for online check in so you just show up 15 mins before your scheduled time and your place in line is held. However, this is not the actual practice here. You will be put after all the walk ins despite having made the online check in which states online "reduces waiting time in the event that there are many patients already in the clinic". What's the point of having an online check in if it is equivalent to a walk in visit? My check in was at 9:15 and I arrived 15 mins early. I was then placed behind 5 walk ins (1 of which arrived after I'd been checked in and waiting for 45 minutes). I wasn't taken back till 10:15 to the exam room. Then I wasn't seen by the doctor till 10:45 and was only examined for 3 mins after waiting over an hour. read more

Since my husband has been here before and he didn't need an appointment, she told me to have a sit but with attitude ok ? I let it pass after 10 minutes of her doing nothing at her desk calls me and says fill out this paperwork bla bla and asked for my insurance which I thought the vaccine was free? Lol !!! And I asked her and she says she heard me say testing !! Like ok? Where do I begin? This is by far the worse urgent care that I have ever been to. N. Nebeolisa PA-C misdiagnosed me and also VIOLATED HIPAA. I don't know how N. Nebeolisa PA-C has her license still. I had came in with suspected kidney infection. Easy treatment and diagnosis. N. Nebeolisa was extremely rude and majority of her responses to my questions are "oh I don't know. I would follow up with your obgyn." Which in return shows the lack of intelligence and lack of responsibility as a provider. Even though that I work in the medical field myself, she refused to acknowledge my personal professional opinion. It was obvious that she did not have any clear idea what she was doing medically. She is extremely unprofessional and as equally rude towards me as a patient and as a healthcare provider. I ended up going to my obgyn who had then diagnosed me with a kidney infection like I had SUSPECTED. Not only did I have to spend money at this urgent care for a WRONG diagnosis but also I had to spend money for a second opinion which could have been easily diagnosed at this urgent care had N. Nebeolisa PA-C done her due diligence as a medical provider. LASTLY, as I was rushed out of the urgent care and my discharge paperwork was handed to me she had committed a HIPAA violation by handing me Mr. Diaz and Miss Cuevas discharge paperwork. I am sure that they would appreciate their tests results since the facility has a reputation for not calling patients with their tests results. They would love know that a random stranger has their tests results instead. They are under investigation by the state of Texas pending the HIPAA violations. read more

Is hard to deal with bs when you don't feel good. Went in and was told I'd be seen right away. 45 mins later and Im still in the waiting room. I provided my insurance information, blue cross verified my insurance and Ms. Helen was still making things difficult. BCBSTX spoke with her confirm I had insurance and she still wouldn't let up. She was unsure what to charge me for a copay so she decided $50 and said she's refund me if its a lower amount. How about you call? She smirks throughout the whole process. Can I just say "WOW!" Wonderful, friendly, caring medical professionals in a very clean and comfortable setting. Dr. Adewole is very compassionate (and he owns this Urgent Care center). He got to the exam, was very thorough and explain all of the possibilities and treatment options. I got to participate in selecting which option was best for my situation and the medication (to stave off bronchitis) was sent in to my local pharmacy before I left. Too that off with a follow-up call today to see how I was doing and you can easily understand why Apex constantly receives a five-star rating. It is well deserved. The very nice Cashier kindly handed us the paperwork to administer the rapid test, thank God we all tested negative. Whilst administering the test, the nicest of nurses ,Mrs. Zelda.C, administered the test as peacefully, calmly, and gently, as possible. I go to urgent cares all over yearly for a physical and this is the first time I've been denied. They should not advertise that they do physicals here if that's not the case. Get there 15 minutes prior to your appointment time and when you do your still waiting an hour and 20 minutes later. The zip pass system says to utilize this so you don't have the long wait. I'm so happy that I chose this place!! *The woman I spoke to in the phone was very nice, helpful, and professional. *The nurse was very very nice and professional as well. Very accommodating and helpful. *The doctor was very knowledgable, professional, and had a great bedside manner. *There was another very sweet and pretty woman at the front desk who was very nice. *The whole place was very clean and roomy. It didn't feel like I was in a box and claustrophobic. *They had top of the line equipment. I got an X-ray done and it looked very new and top of the line. The Dr. gave me the X-rays to keep for my records. *Very fair pricing. *No wait!!! :) I only waited a couple minutes before being called back. Came in here because I had strep throat. Was seen quickly however there was only about one other person in front of me. When i left the place was full, guess every one has heard that this facility really tries to take care of you. Very clean facility, the doctor was nice and through and prescribed me exactly what I needed and then some. They also call you to check on you the next day. Their prices are also pretty reasonable, I believe I paid $110 for the visit (i have no insurance) which is not bad at all. read more
