Seems like a good price at first but they nickel and dime you by charging $10 for this, $10 for that. We paid $10 for a video and $10 for the digital photos. I thought we would get something for "free" as advertised for paying in advance and we didn't. They did print out 4 photos for us so maybe that was the freebie. The staff was nice and that's why they get 4 starts but to me, it wasn't worth the $$.

The technician told me that since I'm close to 34 weeks, it might be difficult to reschedule. I mentioned that I'm off on Monday and Wednesday. One tech said they're closed on Mondays, and when I asked about Wednesday, I was told no because I had already completed my full session. Unfortunately, about 95% of the images taken show my baby with his hands on his face, and I was hoping for a chance to try again for clearer pictures. The techs didn't give warm feeling at all. I'm disappointed in the visit I wouldn't recommend.

I arrived on the day of the appointment (twice) and was told they couldn't execute the scan that day. And "oops, sorry we forgot to notify you". If you need to use this facility, call 30 minutes before your appointment to verify it's still happening. A confirmation text means nothing. I had a diagnostic mammogram and was able to have my images taken and radiologist determine my results in an hour. Estimate time was about 1.5-2 hours, so I was relieved to be done faster. I equate it to being the first appointment of the day. The environment is calm and relaxing, but it doesn't compare to Memorial Hermann Breast Care. That place is truly like a spa with robes and fountains. Solis provides a cape to wear when you do you mammogram. At first , I was bummed it wasn't a fancy robe, but the cape made sense for the mammogram. It allows you to be slightly covered while they take images. It is located right at the intersection of 99 and I-10 and on the second floor.

Well she didn't have her MRI and I'm pissed. We were there before 6:30 am my mom was then lead to the back was told to change into her scrubs and gown to then be told she can't get her MRI performed. They called me a couple of days prior needing information on a procedure she had done in another state almost 10 years ago. I told them I would call and try to get the information they never told me if I didn't get it the MRI couldn't be done. I did call the doctor's office but no one returned my call so unfortunately the MRI couldn't be done. I just wish the communication would have been better my time and my 81 year old mother's time was wasted.

She gives you the information you need and speaks to you in a soothing manner. She always was full of hugs. That made me feel so good at such a dark time in my life. When you are her patient, it is not the best time in your life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was recommended to me by my surgeon Dr. Bonefas. I told my BFF who I was seeing. Low and behold, my BFF had taught Dr. Joyner's children. Small world. After meeting her, I could totally see myself hanging out with this woman. Her personality is delightful and she has a great sense of humor. I know you would not think that at a time like this your doctor would be cracking jokes. She wasn't, it was me. My humor kept me going. When it reached a point that I could no longer take the pain to go to work, Dr. Joyner wrote a note so I could work from home. No one needed to hear me moaning and groaning. I really was hoping that I could make it the entire time and be in the office. Yeah not so much. In addition to her being so knowledgeable and kind, her staff is amazing. From the receptionist, her nurse Suzanne, the techs (sorry guys I can only recall one name) Dale and the two gals. Everyone was great. Going to radiation therapy is no walk in the park whatsoever. And Dale was on the money when he said it will get worse before it gets better. Good golly! I called and spoke to Dr. Joyner and she is going to write another note. She made sure I had meds to help with the pain and gave me further instructions on what to slather myself with. It is a journey. If you are looking for an oncologist/radiologist, I cannot imagine anyone in the Houston area any finer than Dr. Joyner. She is a doll and knows her stuff! 1,000 Halley puppies wag their tails and look for the techs and yell "Who's Deanna?" (FYI - I said a line from The Walking Dead each day before I was zapped to signal that I was ready. I tried to keep my sense of humor going even under adverse conditions.)
