    My appointment was at 8am, and I arrived extra early. They let me know that they had only 1 tech…read morebut assured me they would get me back by my appointment time. My wait was actually over an hour past my appointment time, and they called people that had appointment times after me before me. There were 3 ladies in front of me when they took me back at 8am. They brought 3 more ladies back after 8am, and all 6 were seen before me. When I finally gave up and put my clothes back on to leave at 9am, the waiting room in the back was empty. When I went to the front to let them know I couldn't wait any longer, I didn't get an apology or anything close to it. Just told they could reschedule me. Last year, I also had an hour wait with a morning appointment. They seem to overbook in the mornings or don't schedule their techs appropriately. Very disappointed in the service over the last few years. In the beginning they were great and wait times were minimal, but it has slowly declined. To add even more issues, they are upselling another service that they offer along with the mammogram, but that throws the appointments even further behind, because that 10-15 min appointment now has another additional service. If you can't handle your normal mammogram appointments, why would you add another service to make the appointments longer? This is a poor business model at best.

I was greeted very nicely with a very professional young woman when I checked in However, when I was taken back to have the scan done the young man that was the technician had absolutely no communication skills. I was not offered a locker and had to change into a gown and was told I couldn't leave my things in the room so I carried them into this tiny little room, and it was quite embarrassing because I had my undergarments with me and the whole thing seemed Very unprofessional. I was especially disappointed in the fact that they do not put your knees on a block while doing the scan because it is a proven fact that if you do not have your knees on a block, then your spine is arched because your back is arched and the reading is not correct . I ask about that and the young man said they don't do that. He had no personal skills. If you're going to be working in a center that is doing scans on people (with a high percentage of those people having scans done checking for something that's quite serious) your company needs to train you in how to communicate and be sensitive and to talk through what you're doing with your patient. I probably wasted a trip because it was done incorrectly and just the unprofessionalism of the experience makes me super upset with myself for not reading the reviews before I went. Owners of Simon that you need to do some training so that your technicians are sensitive and caring people that offer a locker for peoples belongings and our professional and informative.
