Very rude. They don't ever answer their phones and don't communicate at all until you are forced to cancel your order. And then they communicate by blaming the customer for wanting to be communicated with. WTF? I told the owner that I thought she was very rude and she hung up on me. Who does that? Is she 12? I recently had an issue with my wife's Mazda 3, where the window controller on the driver side broke with the passenger window half way down. I had to remove the passenger side motor to get the glass up before the atmospheric river came the next day. From there I couldn't figure out how to mount the glass into the slider piece to get it working again. Scott and his team handled it super professionally and communicated the process with me really well, even after I forgot to bring a couple of the pieces they needed to do the job. They were super patient and didn't charge me anything for their time and labor. Good quality people like Scott and his team are hard to come by and I can't thank them emough! read more

I contacted Apex to ask how much to replace a small glass in a picture. She quoted $14.00 for just the glass and if labor is required, $25.00. I told her that the small picture is not even worth that so she abruptly said we will do it for $14.00. I told her that they would just have to measure it and I will install it. When I arrived at the office to drop it off, she took it from me in a unfriendly manner and said I will contact you tomorrow. I again reiterated, I will install it . Five days later, I did not hear from her so I contacted her. She said sorry, as I was quite busy. When I arrived to pick it up, she brought the picture out with the glass installed. I said to her that she did not have to do that and she replied in a rude tone " well we did"! She followed up with the rude comment " you won". Really!! I thought that I was dealing with a high school child. Will never use them again!!!!! read more

100% would recommend to anyone! They were super fast and did a pick up and drop off for me while I was working(I just work down the street). Wonderful customer service and soo pleasant! I wanted to get a quote for some residential/commercial window repair, however, was directed to a voice mail, not the end of the world, however, I hate voice mails in general. Even though the project is semi-urgent, getting these quotes out mid week was very important to me. With that said I needed to connect with a live person to get a contact e-mail and name sooner rather than later. As part of building relationships in the customer service field I always like to call before sending an inquiry, make that human connection. Without that human connection I knew or felt that my e-mail would've been lost in the shuffle but I took a change anyway since I had nothing to loose technically. It's been 3 days and we never got a response back for a quote. very disappointed in the lack of communication. read more

Amazing. A garage door fell on my work truck's windshield and it was basically undriveable. I had been jerked around by about 10 different shops with outrageous quotes and wait times with some places not even calling me back. I walked in there and they got it done the very next day. Terrible Customer Service!! First impression was good, as they gave me a price right away and even said they could probably do it same day. But then... I learned that a mirror that goes in a closet door should have a safety backing and asked if their quoted price (which was higher than others) included the safety backing and was told no, it would be an extra $20. So I tried to negotiate the price, and asked if they'd meet me half way, as my quoted price from another place was about $40 less all in and was told quite rudely "No, sorry, I would go with the other quote and I will cancel your order for you" !! Like, who does that! what kind of company throws away business (especially in these times) for a few dollars??? I am astounded by the horrible customer service I received from Apex and will definitely not be recommending them to anyone. Whereas if they had been willing to work with me, I would have sung their praises. We used Apex Glass 4 years ago to install a patio door during our home renovations. We had experienced issues from the start of the project. Firstly the install was done by an inexperienced crew as they finishing was very rough and cosmetically incomplete. The siding they had taken off to install the door was damaged and reinstalled crooked and worse then before they taken it off. Our other renovation contractors commented on the poor install and stated they would not find the work acceptable. We contacted the owner (who left the company from what I hear two years ago) and he was open to fixing the issues. The work was redone but the door never rolled open and closed smoothly. Instead there were tight areas where it would have to be pulled/ pushed harder. The screen door was not rolling closed shut and was missing hardware to lock it. After the second visit, we noticed a manufacturing issue with the doors. This was relayed to the owner who did follow up with us to communicate with the manufacturer to provide a replacement. All this took some time but it was finally replaced. Overall this install experience was more difficult and not as professional compared to other contractors we dealt with. As stated the product itself has something to be left desired. Fast forward to present and we revealed an issue with screen door. When it was taken off for maintenance, we noticed the reason why it never rolled properly was that one of the wheels were completely crushed. I contacted Scott at Apex and told him we had this issue from the beginning of the install and just realized that it was due to a faulty part. I bought it in for repair and was emailed that it was ready for pick up. Two days after picking up the screen I tried to install it and noticed it was a different door. The door had holes in the screen, and was very dirty and dented. The door would not close completely as well so I wrote Apex an email and explained the situation and asked for my door to be switched back. Several days later I received no response. I emailed again and asked for an response for my inquiry. Again no response. I finally called Apex and a woman there who picked up the phone stated that Scott was not available. I asked why couldn't someone just response and let me know what's going on with my door. She instead stated that it was an old door. I explained this was an existing issue from the start of the install and was explained to Scott; she simply hung up. I called again and asked why she would hang up on a customer and she stated she would place the door outside their building. I told her this was unacceptable customer service and non communication with clients would make anyone maintaining their patience difficult. I will not be recommending this business due to my experiences especially with the "new" owner and staff. After sales service will be of issue unless you don't mind the lack of communication and indifference to clients. read more

I wouldn't want to take my vehicle anywhere else! Apex is amazing, the staff is so friendly, sincere and accommodating. I had my rear trunk window fixed today, a few days prior when the part hadn't arrived yet they did a very thorough tape job of my window so I could drive in the rain. Once my part came in they were able to do it very efficiently and even brought my keys to my place of work afterwards. Nothing but great service at Apex! read more

Not sure what's happening with Apex company. Since the previous owners sold, it has not been the same. We wanted to have a few window glass replaced. The first time the workers came and measured the few fogged up windows that were in need of changing. They came with the replacement windows but they were measured wrong. The second time it was the same problem. We have been in this dilemma for a couple of months now. Good thing we only need to replace 4 window glass. Never again will we contact them. Not a good service. We hope they will get them measured right the third time around. read more

They are friendly and fast, and the quality of work is great. They even sanded down my weathered, chipped windowsills (which I thought I'd be working on myself). read more

I don't usually write reviews but I had a great experience with Apex. The rear window of my SUV got smashed last week. I called Apex was able to talk to someone on the phone right away. In fact I called multiple times and I was able to speak to a person every time. Because I called in the late afternoon, Apex wasn't able to order a replacement glass for that day, but I was able to bring in my vehicle just before closing. The staff checked my window and made sure it was safe to drive until I could bring it in the following day (they can cover window in plastic). Now I have a perfect new rear window. It's like nothing ever happened. Except my SUV is a lot cleaner now! Apex vacuumed my SUV-- I couldn't find a shard of glass. Thank you Apex! read more

Went to Apex glass cause Ive had experience dealing with them. However, to my horor, clearly there is new ownership as my experience was beyond unexplainable. Here's what happened... I went in on a Tuesday.I brought in a piece of 1/4 " glass to be cut. We were told to call that afternoon and if not call the next day. We called the day after to be informed that the glass had shattered. He said he wouldn't charge to much more to replace the glass and that it be done the next day so we agreed. He said it would just be a couple hours and he would call and we left it at that. So then we call the day after that which is Friday now, just to hear once again that he had no time to complete the replacement. When we tried to contact Apex on Saturday, we foud they are closed on weekend. Now it's Monday... Go in and ask if the glass is ready yet. The nice ladt at the counter couldn't find our order. No joke, they had no idea or record of the order we placed. She said she'd cut us a new one and it would be ready the very next day for a smaller upcharge. Behind her, was the man who had taken all our measurements and promised us our order days before. He said absolutely nothing as we asked about our glass. Tuesday was now our new glass pick up time. So Tuesday comes and I show up to get my glass. The glass he hands me is thinner than the cheap dollar store picture frame glass which isn't nearly as thick as the man I was dealing with or the glass I had provided. After paying 2 up charges and waiting over a week I was getting to the last of my patience. However, I was still willing to pay for the unervale glass and carry on my way. Prior to paying, I mentioned that the glass was far thinner than the glass I had provided. After my suggestion, he actually pulled the glass from my hands, put it back in behind the sliding door and says, " You get what you give." I then reached in, picked it up and stated, "I provided a piece of glass, so I intend to leave with one." All still with my credit card in my hand. He then rips the glass from my hands and frisbees it across the shop where his employees are working, shattering it everywhere. He turns to me and says," You get what you give." Meanwhile, my daughter's classmate's dad is watching on wih horror at the display I just endured. I requested the owners name and number and was hardily refused. In the end, I lost my glass and my confidence in this company. It's a small community and word of mouth travels fast here. Just thouht I'd relay my experience with this company for future reference. read more
