We have referred him to other people in the area as they have seen the work he has done for our house. I just noticed that he wasn't on Yelp so I had to do him this service for everything he's done for us! He can do almost everything. He's reliable, trustworthy and doesn't charge an insane price like other contractors do. He is honest if he can or cannot fix anything. Paul has built homes and has many, many years of experience. I hired a handyman to look at my garbage disposal on my island and that handyman told me that since we don't use it, we shouldn't replace it. He mentioned that if we don't periodically use the garbage disposal, it will break again. After this response, I reached out to Paul who spent hours installing a new garbage disposal. He had to re-wire everything under our sink. It's a good thing that he did that because that mis-wiring could have created major issues for us. He has redone our driveway (bricks), fixed our roof tile, remodeled our shower, installed our dishwashers, fixed our attic leak and repainted the rooms, removed our fences, installed doors, fixed our outdoor gates (carved all the wood himself), fixed/painted our garage door, and etc. Welcome to being a home owner! He's our go to guy who we call first on any issues we have at the house. Thanks Paul!! He's amazing.

This was a smaller job, but once again it involved working in an old house with some wonky dimensions and conditions. He was very responsive to our questions, visited to see the project, and quoted within one day. His work was meticulous. We had a crack forming in our foundation. He did the work to prepare it, add filler, several coats of waterproofing. He even mortared the bricks above the foundation to make sure everything blended in. For the work he did, I think his price was fair and reasonable. Artur is kind and very service oriented. His company also does other construction work and he is a handyman. We're getting a quote from him already for another project. I highly recommend that you check with Artur and AZP Company about any handyman related projects.

I requested that they come out to hang 5 curtain rods and to replace a toilet. I was very clear with them that the toilet needed to be hauled away for disposal. I had an appointment set for a Thursday at 8:30am. I confirmed that appointment again two days before they were due here. The night before, they told me they had another job to go to at 7am and said they would be here between 10-11am. They finally showed up at around 1:45-2pm. Because of the way the building is constructed, they had some trouble finding where to drill holes to hang the curtain rods. So in one of my rooms, I have holes in my walls that they drilled and were supposed to fix before they left. They did not. They also did not remove the toilet. So, I was stuck with a toilet sitting in my office. They were supposed to come back today, a week later, to remove it, fix the wall, and finish some other small projects. I emailed them over the weekend to confirm but didn't receive a response. They finally confirmed at 5:30am today that they would be here at 8:30. No one showed up. So I called. Goes straight to a messaging service. Left a message. Emailed them to let them know they have to be here by 8:45 so I can let them in and show them what needs to be done because I will be tied up after that. No response. Someone finally showed up at 9:30. But I had already emailed them a second time at 8:55am to say don't bother coming back. I will go to task rabbit to find someone reliable to do this work. Fortunately, in anticipation of this happening based on what happened last week, I had already gotten a junk hauler to get the toilet out of my office on Saturday.

Azeem and his team deliver a top-notch product and high level of service. I have had the pleasure of working with Azeem on two occasions. In the first case the house was nearing completion and our clients got involved in a stage where they were able to pick finishes and personalize their home. This went so smoothly and they were extremely pleased with the end product. In the second case, my clients got involved very earlier in the process, just after the foundation was poured. Azeem and his team worked to accommodate changes to the original house design resulting in a finished product our clients are thrilled to call home. It should be noted that AK's experience building high-end homes is very apparent when examining allowances for such things as closets, lighting and flooring. These are areas for budget overages when dealing with some builders. AK's allowances are in line with level of quality that should be expected. AK set a realistic timeframe for delivery of the home and ended up delivering early in both instances. It has been my experience in each of these cases that AK Custom Homes takes great pride in creating a lasting relationship by delivering quality and meeting expectations in terms of price and time-line. These guys are terrific!
