I regret choosing this contractor for my kitchen countertop installation. While their prices were…read morevery affordable (a big factor in my decision), it turned out to be a costly mistake. Initially, they were efficient and communicative, and I was optimistic. However, the quartz they installed has been a nightmare. We selected a white quartz based on pictures they provided. Within weeks of installation, the so-called "quartz" started showing major quality issues. The main reasons we chose quartz--its supposed resistance to scratches, heat, and stains--were completely absent. Stains appeared almost immediately and won't come out, even with professional polishers and cleaning solutions. Scratches occurred from something as simple as a barstool rubbing against it. To make matters worse, there's a visible line in one section of the quartz where it looks like it could break. What makes this even more frustrating is that budget was never discussed as a limitation. I could understand if we'd told them we needed to stay within a certain price range, but that wasn't the case. They came, measured, gave us a price, and then simply asked what color granite we wanted and if we preferred veins. There was no disclosure about quality differences or the option to upgrade to a higher grade of quartz. I reached out to the contractor multiple times, after trying to find my own solution for working with and on the countertop, I reached by phone and text over a month in August, trying to address the issues. After no response, I finally sent a detailed email explaining the problems and requesting a copy of our contract. The contractor eventually replied, acknowledged the issues, and claimed quartz shouldn't wear like this. She said she'd contact the supplier--but I had to follow up several more times to get any updates. When she finally responded, she gave us our contract but stated her company wasn't liable for the poor-quality quartz. She directed us to the supplier, despite admitting she had already spoken to them and was told this was "general wear and tear." Frustrated, we hired a new contractor to evaluate the quartz. They confirmed it was quartz but stated it was a very low-quality grade. Replacing it would cost us $6,000-$10,000, or we'd have to live with the subpar countertops. At no point during the process were we given options for higher-quality granite or told that what was being installed was a budget-tier material. The contractor acted as though we had personally selected and purchased the granite ourselves, when in reality, we trusted her to provide a quality product. While the installation itself was passable (aside from a visible cut line), the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The poor communication, lack of transparency, and unwillingness to stand by the product make this contractor one I cannot recommend. If I'd known we could hire them for just the installation and shop around for better quartz ourselves, I would have. This was an expensive lesson in why "affordable" isn't always worth it. Avoid this contractor if you want quality materials and honest communication.

Quality and thoroughness needs to be shown in a higher regard. There was the language barrier, but…read moreI feel like they didn't even ask me what kind of fabricating I needed. It was just the general, nonspecified, generic cuts at the length I had previously requested via text, but some things that they could've /should've asked me would've included finding out if the sink in the bathroom slab should be centered or remain where it was in the old slab. And if they would've had any trouble changing out sinks to have the new sink faucet working they should definitely inform the homeowner that there will be nothing hooked up underneath at all and that's how they left the kitchen and my bathroom! Worse off, in the guest bathroom, he even took it an extra step and noticed that there was a water leak, even though the water was shut off and instead of trying to get to the origin of the problem, he literally just didn't mention the leak until I NOTICED IT, after he was able to hightail it out of there and just left it all leaking underneath my sink and onto the floor. I didn't notice until there's a big puddle of water accumulating within 10 minutes. And now that I think about it, every time I walked past the guest bathroom he was using a towel to mop up the floor, but I didn't know why and now I know why! It was about 10 minutes after they left that was flooding out from underneath my sink, adding all sorts of water damage to my cabinets. So then I had to get someone in there to help me reconfigure underneath my kitchen sink that was a soft water system and make sure that was all correct and somebody else to help me out with the bathroom sinks and laying all new plumbing with new Ptraps and hoses for under each one of those with installation.... But wait, there's more..... My son had offered them his expensive tub and tile caulk if they wanted to use it and they said 'no no we we have a good good caulk' and so we kind of shrugged it off until after they left ... and they left their bucket here on accident filled with water with their caulk and caulking guns still tossed in the water. Every single one of the three caulks they had used for fitting in my 3 sinks was a cheap-o window and door trim caulk!!!!! And not only did they turn my son down to use his good supplies for free, but they in turn, went and used the diametrically wrong stuff for the wrong application!!! And I had to dig out all of the wrong caulk from each one of my three sinks, just to re-caulk each one of them MYSELF (with 100% waterproof bathroom-rated appropriate caulk). I have also enclosed pictures of what I had discovered when I was bending over and mopping up the flood that had become my guest bathroom after they left. I happened to gaze my head upwards while crouching down and noticed that I could see under an into my cabinets, even though the cabinet doors were closed. They just put giant slabs of porcelain that I had picked out on top of little witches that were about 2 inches wide that help the counter remain on top and float. But between these wedges, it's a space that I could quite easily slip my finger or even part of my hand through so I could essentially be outside of the cabinet get inside and under the cabinet at the same time without opening the cabinets. That seemed way off and ugly, so I'm gonna have to find little pieces of wood and wedge it out around so I can close that space out like if they had more of those wedges and put them closer together than they could literally just fill it full of caulk or mortar or something to create a seal. The craziest thing is that these people came highly rated by yelp and were even backed by yelps insurance program, which I am now get to rate and see if I will have to Yelp on Yelp. Because this was unacceptable! Plus, there's like 2 mini stains that there's no way I can get them out of my white, fabricated, quartz countertops! They look like cigarette burns on the side that I noticed when the guys left and I'm not sure what that's from. When they were all done and left, I noticed I now had huge amounts of whitish chalk dust all over my driveway and common sidewalk area. I know that cutting the slabs creates dust but I mean ask for a broom if you don't have one to sweep up the remainder before you leave maybe? Just the work that I had to have done after they left because of what they did or didn't do, and the re-caulking of the sinks after I had to literally dig out the other caulk was just horrible and time wasting and I wouldn't recommend them. They did have a good price and if they wouldn't have been yelp back, I wouldn't have picked them, but seeing as this has taken a long time to write up, I'm not sure if I will get reverse any money from Yelp for this.

My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials. I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The paperwork and payment were all online so it was very easy to do. Overall a smooth process and good work done.

Misleading, Overpriced, and Deeply Unethical Experience I…read morespent $8,592 on three slabs of countertops from Diamond Granite, and it turned into one of the worst contracting experiences I've ever had. The slabs I received were poor quality, the color was completely off from what was advertised, and every concern I raised was dismissed instead of addressed. Danny was the one who pushed me hard to choose Carrara Breeze, insisting it was their most popular install. But the moment I made the initial payment, he disappeared. I later learned from Daniel, the owner, that Danny was in Hawaii on "another job." During installation Day, I raised concerns about my slabs having a brownish tint instead of the clean white Carrara Breeze shown on Arizona Tile's website. Daniel (who had now become my new point of contact) told me that "all Carrara Breeze slabs are different" and that I basically needed to accept what I got. The message was clear: my complaints didn't matter, and I should stop questioning the product. Then came the pricing shock. I later found out from a reliable source that their sale price for Carrara Breeze is around $650 per slab, yet I was charged $2,865 per slab. That's an extreme markup, and at no point was I given transparent pricing or honest guidance. As a woman navigating this process alone, I felt taken advantage of at every turn. The tone shifted the moment payment was made -- suddenly every question was met with defensiveness, blame, or references to "paperwork" instead of actual customer service. I left every interaction feeling unheard, dismissed, and pressured. If you are a single woman or someone without contracting experience, please be cautious. My experience made it clear that this company does not prioritize fairness, transparency, or ethical treatment. Once they have your money, you're on your own. I will forever regret choosing Diamond Granite for my countertop installation. I later learned about Ready Renovations & Remodeling LLC, who have an excellent reputation and handle everything with professionalism and integrity. I wish I had known about them sooner. Think twice before contacting Diamond Granite. I hope my experience helps someone else avoid the stress, financial loss, and frustration I went through. I will not emphasize this enough, PLEASE do your research before you hire these guys. They are absolutely scammers and will charge you 3x the amount. If you want Countertops, go to the source they buy from (Arizona Tile) and find you a reliable contractor who can do the installation for you!

STAY AWAY -- DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. Diamond Granite &…read moreRemodeling does not stand behind their work. We hired them to remodel our kitchen, including the installation of new marble countertops. Once the protective paper and plastic were removed, we immediately noticed a crack in one of the newly installed slabs. Over the next several days, the crack continued to grow. We contacted Daniel, who came to our home to inspect the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed us, claiming we must have stood on the countertop. My husband and I are both senior citizens, and my husband recently underwent a total knee replacement -- the accusation was not only incorrect but unreasonable. Daniel then stated that with this type of marble, "if you just look at it, it will crack," which is an unacceptable and unprofessional explanation. After reading other negative reviews, it's clear this pattern is common: if something goes wrong, the customer is blamed. We spent over $22,000 and now have not one, but two cracked countertops. Do not waste your money with this contractor. Choose a company that is honest, reputable, and stands behind its work. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AFTER VENDORS COMMENT: Do you want a vendor who blames you for poor workmanship instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem? If not, stay away from this company. The vendor had no idea the cracks even existed because neither he nor his salesperson returned to inspect the completed job. The cracks began small, and we monitored them as they continued to grow from top to bottom. Much of the fabrication was done on our driveway, with the installers repeatedly handling the marble, which likely contributed to the damage. The vendor now acknowledges the cracks but insists they were caused by "post‑installation stress or impact"--essentially suggesting that two senior citizens somehow stood on the countertops. Our credit card dispute is still pending, and no decision has been made. This company does not stand behind its work, which is why they are constantly responding defensively to negative reviews.

I could not recommend them less. ----‐---------------- We started this process on good footing, we spent time getting to know their team, talking through the project and setting expectations. We read their positive reviews and they put on a good face. But soon after construction started we realized that this team is completely out of their depth. As a whole they are destructively uncommunicative and are outright deceitful, Cesar their GC, and Katherine one of the business owners, particularly so. When problems were encountered, instead of working through solutions together, their strategy was to stall for as long as possible and to ignore our attempts to keep the project moving forward. Their behavior cost us months of delays which resulted in thousands of dollars lost, needless worry and lasting issues with our home and property. If you decide to move forward with this team, please keep record of every interaction, be extremely specific in your contract, and keep your attorney on hand. After our move in, and after clear explicit instructions from me on numerous occasions, business owner Katherine illegally and covertly recorded the exterior and interior of our property on multiple occasions, including video recording me inside of my home while I was unaware. Katherine and the rest of the team do not care about legality, your privacy, or the basic respect of their clients. During the build they tried their best to get more money out of us while delivering substandard work. The only way we were able to move into the home after many months past our projected move in date and many weeks spent in extended stays was by going around them to schedule our final inspection with the county, by communicating with our title company & lender, by filing complaints with the BBB and ROC. Stay on top of your project. If you are providing custom architectural plans, please know that the time, money and planning that went into your build documents mean nothing to them, they will do as they please without your intervention. Consent is not a word in their vocabulary. They're unwilling to learn, improve or accept responsibility. Through my interactions with this team I have come to learn what the term "gaslighting" means. They continued to smile in my face, offering pleasantries and small talk, expecting me to quickly move past their damaging behavior while their actions and words remained persistently harmful.
