It's so hard to find a spicy burger that actually hits, but they absolutely nailed it. It's simple but done perfectly, and the sauces take it to another level--especially the ghost pepper sauce. I'm already craving it again.

I had the Huss Scottsdale Blonde which is a local brand out of Tempe, Arizona. My husband had the Pilsner 42 which is brewed by Grand Canyon Beverage Company (AZ) in honor of Pat Tillman. NOTE- A portion of the proceeds from this beer is donated to the Pat Tillman Foundation. That's a HUGE plus! Also, this franchise is dedicated to honoring our local vets and first responders too! "First Responder Wednesdays"! *Every Wednesday, the establishment graciously presents 15% off for ALL first responders. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, you will feel welcome to hang around and enjoy many different beverages. Additionally, they extend crowlers of your favorite brews to purchase & take home as well. Cheese Curds appetizer was good. That's all we had here this visit. Menu had some great looking burgers & sandwiches. They have fresh salads, flatbreads and featured favorites from fish & chips to "kicking off" with some delicious starters! Eager to coming back and try one of their burgers next time! Scratch Pub & Grill at Augusta Ranch Golf Course is a classic golf-course hangout--big TVs, loud…read morechatter, and a vibe that feels stuck somewhere in the mid-2000s. The interior could use a refresh (think dark wood, old booths, and sports memorabilia that's seen better days), but if you like a lively, unpretentious bar atmosphere, it delivers. We went for dinner on a weeknight. I ordered the fish & chips. It arrived looking sad: two small, thin pieces of cod that were overcooked to the point of dryness, perched on a modest pile of fries. The breading was decent, tartar sauce fine, but the fish itself was underwhelming and skimpy for the price. Highlight of my plate was actually the side of onion rings--thick-cut, crispy, well-seasoned, and legitimately tasty. My wife's fried chicken sandwich, though, was a winner. Huge, juicy breast with a crunchy coating, fresh toppings, and a buttery brioche bun that held up perfectly. The fries alongside were hot and crisp. She demolished it and declared it one of the better chicken sandwiches she's had lately. Service was friendly but slow. Prices are typical for a golf course spot--maybe $2-3 higher than you'd hope. Verdict: Dinner was hit-and-miss (great chicken sandwich, forgettable fish & chips). The loud, dated vibe isn't for everyone. I probably wouldn't rush back for dinner, but the breakfast menu has solid reviews, so I'll give that a shot next time I'm in the area. Onion rings alone are worth a side order.

It's a very friendly spot, both bar and family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food is honestly amazing. I'd never had a bad meal prior to this, but food quality has TANKED... this evening our food took FOREVER, and when I finally came, mine was cold and the chicken was super dry, and my Wife's was super hot, and obviously just prepared. The staff and bartenders are always on point, but it's becoming more and more evident at the lack of competent management, and any minuscule form of quality control. It's been consistently getting bad...but tonight was hands down the worst restaurant experience we've had in over a decade. Please fire them all and start over. Competent Management and quality control are non-existent. It's a shame. We used to love this place. (Your staff is the only reason this is worded so nicely)
