We hired Apache Fence to replace our old backyard chain link fence last month. The owner Edwin came to our house the next day after our phone call and provided us with and estimate that same night. We informed Edwin that we have to submit our work request to our HOA and it might take several weeks to get approval. Edwin said it was not a problem, and he has dealt with many homeowner with similar issues. When we finally got our HOA approval, we called Edwin to begin work. He said that he will have a crew available the next morning at 7 am. We were pleasantly surprised the work would begin so soon but sure enough the fence project term of Rene and Ricky was at our house early the next morning. Rene and Ricky worked for 3 days and did an excellent professional job, and we could not be more pleased with the quality workmanship of the installed fence. I want to compliment Edwin and his crew at Apache Fencing for the excellent and professional job they did in replacing an old cedar plank fence in my backyard abutting the canyon. I wanted 6' chain link with 4' cloth mesh on the lower inside, to keep the snakes and critters out as much as possible. All the materials were high grade and so was their service. I got Apache Fence information from our neighborhood group. I called and Edwin and he answered right away. I considered 3 other fence contractors but Edwin gave the BEST quote out of all other 3. I wanted to have a concrete curb at the bottom and then install the fence on top of it. Very few people do it and Edwin was one of them. After comparing the quotes, I decided to go with Apache fence. I see that all the other written reviews are five stars; from experience, I can tell you that there is a good reason for the high ratings. Edwin, (who constantly talks to himself) and his talented crew hit the job site running and within 2-1/2 days the 110 foot redwood (board on board) was completed. Having built many fences in the past forty years, I know what makes a quality fence. Alas, age no longer allows me to build like I once did and I was uncomfortable about letting someone else do the job. Edwin built it the way I would have...he (cut) no corners. We had Edwin and his crew replace almost 400 feet of fence and three gates. Two of the sides were shared fences with neighbors who both had special requirements on how they wanted the installation done. Edwin worked with the neighbors and other then some unexpected rain delay the install was completed without a hitch. Our new redwood fence has completely changed the look of our house and backyard. My neighbors and I needed to have an existing side and back wood fence removed and replaced with a new redwood fence. We had several licensed contractors give us a quote and Apache's was very competitive. Edwin, the owner, was on-site every day working with his crew and had to make minor requested changes to satisfy all four neighbors. Apache fence has installed several of our neighbor's fences. We used them for a shared fenceline and a new gate. The fence is vinyl privacy fence with a side gate. Although the work was delayed a day, they kept us informed of their status. Upon arrival the team worked hard and efficiently to demo the existing fence and set new posts. The next day they completed the work including the gate which is a more challenging project. We are pleased with all of it! Edwin picked up his phone only after one ring to respond to my inquiry, and that is good customer service. He also arranged the onsite estimate within several days. His quote is not the lowest, but competitive. He has a slight queue of projects but I have no problem waiting for three weeks to start my fence project.
