I called the restaurant afterward, and Nick, the manager, was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He apologized sincerely and made the situation right. I do not believe anyone there knowingly served something off -- it seemed like an unfortunate one-off issue, and the way they handled it said a lot about their customer service. Because of how respectful and sincere Nick was, I would definitely give Topsail Steamer another try.
