Fushipoke is so cute and really well decorated that it transported me back to Japan. I ordered the bao buns and both the pork belly and fried chicken were amazing. Tender meat with a crisp outside and super flavourful. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I the food is slightly above average but well worth the price! read more

The poke bowl has fresh not frozen tuna flown in from Japan every day, you can choose your own toppings or have them decide. The Miso Raman soup is a generous portion with a slab of juicy pork belly. I never had anything like the soft pillow like buns with shrimp tempura and a special sauce. I rate it a 10+ read more

Loved this place. Decent poke. Did not taste sushi. Standard poke bowls nothing fancy but a tad more expensive than similar fare in the north east. Loved the decor. read more

Walked over for lunch while on Jury Duty and the poke bowl did not disappoint. I ordered the frozen tuna protein with various sauces and toppings. Service was helpful, nice, and quick! The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice self-serve station for utensils, water, and soy sauce, making it easy and comfortable to have a quick solo lunch. I would say the poke is on the pricier side, but it's nice you get to choose as many sauces and toppings you want versus needing to pay for add ons. Note - there are still a few add-ons for a fee like avocado, etc. read more

Make your order online and come in to pickup a fulfilling lunch. Satisfied with the taste and flavors. Pick sauce wisely my last time I forgot it's saucy so the bottom got a little salty for my taste, but my fault for choosing something that's a soy sauce like base. Restaurant is in between other businesses so can be hard to find the first time if you are driving. Parking is on the street in front or around the corner has a larger parking lot. read more

Fantastic tuna poke. Stopped to eat with my buddy Chris (local) who recommended this place. It was phenomenal! Pick your protein, pick your bowl, and all the toppings you can handle. Definitely get the crunchies. This place was amazing. They let us be and two old friends caught up and shared laughs! Definitely THE spot to go! Will be back for sure. The poke was fresh and delicious and there were plenty of gluten free options for my husband. The portion size was HUGE so my husband and I split a bowl. The only disappointment was that the sweet potato noodles were not as good as some other spots I've been. read more

My father comes here a lot. Since this is the place that he likes, I decided to go there again for some lunch. But again, due to his age and dementia, his taste buds are gone and cannot be trusted. We always get some ramen here, even though we can get poke also. The last time it was decent. Personally, the portion of the noodles and the broth, to the toppings is off in my opinion. The presentation and the visual of the bowl is off. I don't go, "wow" with excitement when I see this strangely put together ramen. The bowl should be much bigger to have a better visual balance. The bowl is too small to cram in all the noodles with little broth. Also the topping crowds the bowl so much so that there is not enough room to separate or mix the noodles without spilling the contents. Personally, dining is more than just stuffing your face. The dining experience includes sight, smell, taste, texture, timing, serving temperature. The visual was definitely off today. I ordered shoyu ramen with chashu (braised port belly). The chashu was way too thick it was hard to eat. I do appreciate a large slab of the pork - 3 pieces, but I am not accustomed to having 1/4 inch thick chashu. My teenage som will probably appreciate the thick, not so delicate pork. He is all about large portions. Also, they were crisp on the outside all around. It is different than what I am used to - that is melt-in-your-mouth soft texture or thin enough to cut through with chop sticks. Anyways, odd portion combination of bowl size, yellow noodles, broth and toppings. The taste - it was bit disappointing for a $18 bowl of ramen. The broth for a shoyu ramen, I believe, should be clear soy based tare, good mix of fat, and the soup stock. Every ramen joint has their signature soup stock that they make from scratch. I am now sure how they make their stock but it was rather bland. The serving temperature was off too. It was just warm and not piping hot, as a bowl of ramen should be. Maybe I have all of these gripes because I just spent two weeks back in my home country and tasted the ramen that I grew up with, and other regional specials in Nagasaki. I just returned and perhaps my brain is predisposition to like the "real thing" not a good approximation. Nevertheless, this place is one of better choices around for ramen, despite some flaws. So we will return. Sigh, maybe this is what I have to settle for the "best" ramen around Sarasota. Sarasota is up and coming but not quite NYC, SF or LA, yet, where you will find plenty of great ramen. read more

Fushipoke - Not too busy now... on Sunday - Poke Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

I love coming to FushiPoke. I used to go there a whole lot more when I lived in Sarasota and I would always stop by right after work to get a bowl to go home but since moving to Parrish in 2023, I haven't frequented as much as I would want to. In the meantime, they started doing sushi and it is some of the best sushi I've ever had in my entire life. I definitely recommend going not only for their poke bowls, but for their sushi. The owner is so sweet always gives me extra stuff without even me asking for it. Today they made a mistake and put eel sauce on my salmon skin roll and because of that, he decided to give me a free tuna roll. He didn't have to do that, but it's a simple gesture that counts, and he is always so kind. When I had gone to them after not going for maybe about three years he even remembered that I like a side of sesame oil with my poke bowl and he gave that to me. Again he remembers little things like that and I am so happy his business is doing so great because he deserves all the best in the world. And their food is simply amazing. read more

Way to expensive for the portion I got!!! Food was good place is clean but still way over priced for what it is!!!

This poke is absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed taking it to go and eating it at the beach. The restaurant itself is cute and nice to eat at. Service was fast and the servers were friendly. However, I didn't realize how expensive it was when ordering and accidentally made what came out to be a $30 bowl, which I think is just way too expensive for a poke bowl. My bowl was just white rice, 1/2 tuna and 1/2 salmon, avocado, furikake, spicy mayo sauce x2, and masago (but they were basically out and he gave me only maybe 1/3 of a scoop). My husbands was like $15, so basically half the price of mine! I've gotten this same order at probably 15 other poke places across the U.S. in my life (including CA) and never had it come out to more than $16, so this was pretty shocking and I really have to take two stars off for the crazy pricing because it would definitely deter me from coming back. read more

Awesome vibes , great ambience and pretty good food. The ramen itself was pretty pricy at about 19 bucks a bowl? There was a good amount of pork , and noodles. The bao buns were nice though , slightly sweet fluffy , and the tempura shrimp was crispy and flavorful. The fried chicken one was okay not bad but not great . I might pop in again to try the spicy ramen since a friend recommended that. We'll see :) read more

Great option for ramen can be found at Fushipoke. This place looks small from the front entrance, but keep walking to the very back and you will find a nice lounge area with couch and table and games! The best area for comfy and warmth. These are the kinds of places we are always looking for. Fushipoke serves poke. They also have bowl options for the non poke, seafood people which can be chicken, pork, or tofu. They also have ramen which is exactly what I was looking for. And lastly steam buns. The Tonkotsu ramen with tempura shrimp was perfect for me! Next time, I'll probably have more ramen and try the steam buns. For drinks they have beer, wine, sake, soft drinks, and tea. I want to explore their sake options. This place is right next to Main Street in Sarasota, so if you are in the area, it's a GREAT option!!! It is street parking no fee to park. read more

The boss wanted ramen and we drove here even though they are a poke place. The rne was good. My tonkotsu tasted good and my noodles were okay too. The pork belly was a tad bit fatty. The boss thought the same with the pork belly. Her shoyu flavor was also okay. The ramen is good, but I'm still in search for the best ramen in the Sarasota area. read more

The absolute best!! Everything is so fresh the ginger just lights me up. Staff is so helpful.

Love the miso soup with pork. So yummy and you feel healthy after the meal. Friendly service. Clean and comfortable quiet dining!

Under that pile of toppings there was both Salmon and Tuna if you'd believe it. Both tasted light and fresh. All the toppings (I freestyled it) where also super tasty. Since I didn't go with a preset bowl and added a few things the bowl was a bit more pricey than I expected but I guess that's my fault for going with my heart. In the end it was worth it. I got the fried shrimp and chicken bao buns. Chicken was good but the shrimp was great. Next time I'll skip the chicken and just go with those. Awesome selection of drinks from soda, to CBD seltzer water, to Japanese/Asian beers which pair perfectly with the seafood. Will be back here for sure and I recommend to anyone looking for a delicious quick bite while walking down Main Street or on the way back home from the beach. read more

Food is good. Fresh fish and ingredients. Service is so sloooooooooooow if getting anything except a poke bowl. This is an order and pay at the counter and should be relatively fast. The boa buns take FOREVER! I eat my entire poke bowl by the time the boa buns come out. It's really unfortunate that they are so slow. When I'm in a rush a can't even consider ordering them. Money lost for them I guess. Also, you CAN NOT ORDER OVER THE PHONE. This is not something they will do. So if you're in the car and want to order boa buns (that take forever) and call. They refuse to take your order and insist it has to be done online. Again, money lost for them. How is this any type of good business model? Losing money left and right. Weird and makes me not go as often as I would. Let's go Fushipoke! Get on top of it! You can do it! read more

Today I came back for the Raman Tonkotsu. I enjoyed this soup it was rich broth with scallions little spice and corn. The egg in the dish was just ok but I selected chicken as my protein abs it was good! Let's discuss the noodles. Yes love the noodles ! Lots of them In this dish ! The atmosphere is very laid back, there is seating area in the back to hang out and an area with a book case and board games, which is great! It kept the kids entertained.
