If you're a boba tea person, I got you!!! Trust me on this one. You can thank me later! I can't speak to the food, but it looked good though! Brief Summary: This small boba and poke bowl restaurant recently opened up, and it has quickly become my go to boba tea place! If you like boba that is a bit spicy (The tea, not hot like a pepper) then look no further! This might just be the place for you! Would I Recommend This Restaurant? Yes The Food: This section should prooooobably be renamed "The Drink" because I've never had the food, but I can speak to the boba tea. I'm a huge fan of the standard brown sugar boba tea. I usually get it extra sweet, and boy oh boy do those flavors pack a punch! The tea is spicy. Not spicy as in hot, but as in the tea itself is very flavorful. Something I find lacking in a lot of boba tea places. A lot of boba tea these days have a very bland tea as the base. This focuses the attention almost entirely on the flavor you get. That's fine and all if that's what you like, but to me, it makes the tea a bit one dimensional. What I love about this boba tea is that it has multiple complex flavors in it, and they all work so well together! I can genuinely say it is one of the best boba teas I've ever had in my life, and I don't use these terms lightly. The addition of a whip type of cream on top adds another element to the drink that compliments and elevates it to the next level. This is something I wish more boba places would do, because I think it makes a HUGE difference. Also, their straws are big enough to allow the boba balls to be sucked up with ease. Nothing on God's green earth annoys me more than when a straw for boba tea is too slim for the boba balls. I don't want to have to suck on it so hard that I......you know what. I'm not going to finish that statement, because I didn't see anyway of appropriately ending it! Lol. You get the point though. Overall, a very delicious drink. I haven't had the other flavors. I need to try them, but I'm too in love with the brown sugar boba to cheat on it lol. Definitely give it a shot though! Also, I haven't tried the sushi or poke bowls, but it looks delicious and the prices feel very reasonable! Value: Given that this is my most favorite boba in the SRQ area, I'd pay probably anything to get it lol. BUT, objectively speaking, the value for the money feels fair and on par to me. The value for the sushi and poke bowls also appears very fair! Service and Staff: The staff here were nice and friendly. I even got to speak with the owner WHO is right there behind the counter working as well. Very nice hard working guy. I love seeing owners that are very involved like that. A hard working guy making his dream come to life! Location and Interior: The location is in a plaza next to several other businesses. Pretty easy to get to and a decent amount of parking. Neighborhood is very safe, and the plaza is brand new. The restaurant is always very clean and tidy, which is something you always want from a restaurant. Final Thoughts: A beautiful family owned boba, poke, and sushi place. Absolutely worth giving a shot! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Cheers! P.S. For the $$ it's really not a good deal. Not enough fish in the poke bowl. Although the flavor is very good. Same with the bahn mi sandwich. We did not try the pho because I refused to pay $20 for noodle soup... We took our food to go and it was pretty fast. The place was new and very clean. I hate writing bad reviews but I will never come here again. I got food poisoning. I watched the guy making my bowl use the same plastic gloves to wipe the counters and move the trash bins. Not sure if that cause it but I'm not going to test the theory by returning. read more

Back from an eight week vacation, and came here for lunch. Another excellent meal consisting of a Parrish roll, and my husband and I shared a poke bowl ( time crunch). We had salmon, edamame, seaweed salad, pineapple and cilantro ; scallions and sesame seeds to top it. Of course a taro smoothie and iced jasmine green tea. Nice to meet the other owner, Danny. Ono is a nice simple place with fresh poke. I docked them a star for three reasons: A long wait for the food to be ready, unripe mango, odd sauce pricing... (There's free sriracha at the utensil station, but you have to pay for it if you order it in your bowl. Just a tip, pick a different sauce for your bowl and use the free sriracha if you also want that!) read more

No difference in taste as compared to other poke places but their prices for beef pho is way higher than other places especially when it doesn't have all of the fixings that usually comes with the basic bowl (tendon, tripe and regular cut of beef slices) so if you want anything else it's extra costs and i made a mistake and ordered with out the beef meatballs so I ordered a side of meatballs and I thought at least I'll have 2 whole meatballs, nope, it was 1 single meatball cut into 6 small pieces for $6. Had lunch there today. Ordered a Poke bowl with tuna. Some of the tuna after a few bites tasted "fishy". I took the bowl up to the counter and asked if the tuna was fresh. The Woman behind the counter said "yes"! I told her about the "fishy" taste. Here preemptive response was. A snapped We can't do anything about that." I asked her to discard the tuna and put a cover on the bowl(paper bowl). She scooped out the tuna and gave the bowl back. I told her I had asked for a cover which she did and handed the bowl back. I ordered the beef rib pho with noodles to go. When I got home, I realized that the beef rib was all one piece so I had to cut the meat off the bone. Unfortunately, between all of the unrendered fat and the bone I was only left with an ounce of actual meat. Considering the price, I would've expected more. After I finished my Thai tea in about 5 sips in under a minute, it was already gone and that is not normal. We asked someone about how full it is with ice and how last time we came it was not like this, they said basically there's nothing they can do and it's normal so maybe get light ice or something cus that's insane read more

Great spring rolls. Fresh and good. But just less than average sauce. Really sparse almost non existent. Few ingredients and one of costly for what this is. Honestly more expensive than going to Disney Springs w unlimited ingredients and good sauce. I hope that they allow you to choose more ingredients and allow a little more sauce. It's fine but bland. I think I'll come again but this was second time and I love this cuisine and it's close to home but truly could use a little more care when building our bowls. My food is dry and bland.
