I am so happy to have discovered Pho Street! After trying to find good pho in Bradenton/Palmetto/Sarasota with no luck, I was happy to finally get a great bowl of soup and other good food. I have been eating pho since the mid-80's and have tried it in many states and a few countries, too. I was starting to feel discouraged because I had struck out a couple of times as I searched my area for a good place, the last being Demi's Noodle House, which served a terrible soup IMO. Thankfully, Pho Street came through! They have a nice building, a clean restaurant, and their servers were all extremely nice. No less than 3 people checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. The soup was served piping hot, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was excellent. I did ask for rare beef and it came a little overdone, but not bad at all. Next time I'll ask for it raw in the hopes that it comes on a separate plate. One thing I think can be improved on is the lemonade. It didn't taste like the fresh, homemade lemonade that you find in most Vietnamese restaurants, it tasted like it was from a machine. Got here at 8:40 pm, after driving 30-40 minutes to this place since there are few Pho options around. "We are closed."- said the staff and mentioned they closed the kitchen at 8:30pm. No to go option. Why do they have the door open? Why do the business hours states open til 9:00 pm? Lame. read more

On my recent trip to Bradenton, I googled Bahn Mi and Pho Street came up. You can't miss this place because it's bright green and lives on the same block as Lowe's. I actually went in for a vermicelli bowl and it didn't disappoint. I realized that I spent more money at a fast food joint for burger and fries than I did on this bowl! The staff was great and next time I need to try a beverage. I was so excited about finding this place, I realized later that I never took photos. Reviewed pictures online. Called and asked if we could sit at the bar area which had several barstools and a large counter and we were told yes. We drive 25 minutes to get there. Got there and we were given a very bad attitude because young male server said it's a family style restaurant and it was throwing him off if we sat at the bar. Wow.I just found my favorite place for pho in the Sarasota Bradenton area! I have been to a couple of other restaurants in the area, but I came here for the first time on a Sunday night. It was pretty busy, but our party of three did not have to wait for a table. The restaurant is pretty spacious inside and has several tables. The service was very quick and efficient. For the three of us we ordered crab rangoon and summer rolls to start. I ordered a pho dish that came with beef tripe and steak. The appetizers were just okay, but the pho really blew me away. The broth was so flavorful. Usually broth is too salty in my opinion, but this was literally so good. I would absolutely recommend this place for Vietnamese food if you're in the area. read more

This place is nice and clean. I like that they have a boba tea. I order 2 meat pho soup and boba drink. It came so fast I didn't have time to drink my boba. It was so good I almost finished It. First impression was a nice clean restaurant with a pleasant family owned business who greeted us with a smile and a welcome. We ordered the beef lo mein and the house special vermicelli bowl(bun). The bowl looked better then the lo mein. It was colorful and it had a good amount of meat. It also had two tiny shrimp and one small spring roll. The beef lo mein which yes agreed upon no onion and broccoli on side had a few slivers of carrots and two slivers of thin meat from the pho and 99 percent noodles. I'd say these entrees were okay but definitely missed the mark on noodles to protein ratio specially in the lo mein noodles. Flavor was okay about a 3, compared to other places. Goal was to leave without feeling full so we can bask in the sun at the beach and that goal worked out well. I went to pho street for my lunch break. I was served within 5 mins of sitting down. As I started eating I noticed this worm in my food. I grabbed the waiter and I was told I'm sorry but you still have to pay for your smoothie. At that point I was grossed out and didn't even want the drink. Great find on a cold day. Parking lot was packed. Inside was clean, plenty of booths and tables. Could tell the place is family run. Service was quick. It was interesting to see the option for the meat on bone pho. Most every table had someone order that. I got standard brisket pho, it was hot and flavorful. Broth wasn't too sweet, and there was a decent serving of noodles. I would have preferred more bean sprouts but there was enough for our table. Initially we were planning on ordering boba but our check was closed before we were checked on and given the chance. Felt like we were being rushed out when asked for a container for left over broth. This is the first since we visited this establishment since covid. Pros: Pho still exceptional.. love love! Their summer rolls.. very good! I really like the ambience.. Service is very good-- everything I requested came out perfectly... I have to say that typically when I go to Asian restaurants.... I don't typically get what I ask first time around. Pho Street is another restaurant that I frequent for lunch. It is behind the furniture store on the corner of Cortez and Tamiami. It is hidden and difficult to see from the street. I was shocked the first time I entered the restaurant as they did a full renovation from the previous pizza shop that used to be here. Now, the restaurant is super clean and looks so modern. The booth seating is very comfortable and a great spot to relax and socialize with friends and co-workers. The menu is updated and ever changing, which is awesome because they have lunch and breakfast combos as well as a Pho Burrito. (I've yet to try it.) My favorite dish at Pho Street is their crispy noodles with beef because the vegetables are so fresh and the sauce has a lot of fresh garlic. I also adore their grilled rice plates and all of the appetizers. The fried rice is good, too. The only dish that I am not fond of the their Pad Thai, it is; sticky, dry, and does not have enough vegetables/green onion. I am also not a fan of their powder mix bubble tea, so I mostly just order water to drink. There are photos of sushi and sushi burritos on their Yelp page, but I've never seen any of that offered on their menu or ordered by customers. The staff is very fast and friendly. read more

Ambience was great. We went there practically 3 straight days in a row and ordered the same thing off the menu. My daughter ordered the pho with the steak and brisket. The meat on both the chicken and beef pho were unseasoned and horrible , I had to throw it away and settle for a veggie pho. The actual taste of the pho had a good flavor with a sweet aftertaste. I wouldn't eat their pho again solely because the meat was so terrible . Very disappointing. read more
