Food: The Som Tom was combo of heat and sweet! Ordered it hot, and the flavors were spot on. The Chicken Pad Thai was equally impressive. Both were probably the best I've ever had. We also ordered three sushi rolls, and all were excellent. The Dynamite Roll was the surprise favorite. Nothing fancy to look at, but the combination of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail was fantastic. The Cincinnati Bengals Roll came in second, followed by the Tampa Bay Roll. I'd order all three again. Service: Ordered pickup and was quoted 30 minutes. Everything was ready in 15! Ambiance: N/A since we ordered takeout. Really impressed with the food - staff is always super nice and accommodating too. Definitely coming back - thanks Aroy D! Pro tip: Make your Ponzu sauce if ordering takeout. 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp honey read more

The food was fantastic and the sushi was incredibly fresh! Truly the best Thai food we've had since moving to the area. I ordered the chicken pad Thai (pictured) and my husband got the garlic steak and shrimp -- both dishes were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! read more

The food, service, and atmosphere are exceptional. We had just come from a walk on trails so we decided to do takeout, but we observed how wonderfully the guests were treated. It felt like a great family atmosphere. The food was outstanding and we were treated so well. They also gave us some extra hot sauce just in case we wanted it but said to be careful with it. The food was so well prepared and seasoned that we never used it. I have already recommended them to others and we will be back. They get our very best rating. If you like Thai food and want to dine or just be treated in a welcoming customer service oriented place then you must come here! read more

We had an amazing lunch at this small, family owned restaurant located in a strip mall. Lunch menu was a great deal with multiple options, all for $10. The woman who seated us was the owner, and her mom the chef! We ordered the holy basil with chicken, crazy noodles with chicken, pad Thai with pork and one with veggies. Starters were miso soup or salad. Both were delicious... the dressing on salad was fresh with a lovely ginger flavor. All of the meals were hot off the grill and spectacular flavor... especially loved the basil in the first 2 dishes. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return! read more

This is a nice Thai restaurant. Service is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and decorated nice. We started with the tod mon for an appetizer. It was good but had an odd texture. My wife got the pad Thai and it was very good and a good portion on the plate. The fried rice was average. I got the panang curry with duck. It was good and hot. I added some heat. They bring you an assortment of hot sauces. The panang was ok. read more

Just really good Thai food! And service from Nate is awesome! Authentic...feel like family. And, great sushi too!

Very unimpressive sushi at higher than average prices. There are lots of choices around. This is no longer one of them.

My wife and I look for different cuisine around Japanese, Chinese and Thai restaurants'. We found a very good one today at AROY D THAI 4442 Cortez Rd W here in Bradenton. Although it shares a mall type venue, the food, and service were excellent! We started off (as we usually do) with Calamari, when trying a new restaurant, if that is on the menu, we try it. Folks, this appetizer was EXCEPTIONAL. The garnish prepared along with it was very unique and flavorful (wish it was a bit bigger) lol- The food was awesome. I'm not big into Sushi, but the wife calls the shots on where we go most times. The dish I got (recommended upon request from the server) was very "Aroi" and plentiful. We all know these days how hard it is to part with hard earned money these days for mediocre results with service and quality. This restaurant exceeds what we have experienced in a good amount of time. If you like Calamari, try them. It's well worth it! Stan & Robin Swartz- Bradenton, FL read more

Clearly I am a regular here, but how could I not be when they have the best pad Thai in Bradenton! Always great food and quick service read more

Me and my partner in crime were looking for a Thai restaurant to celebrate my birthday when we found Aroy D. The food was absolutely delicious! Especially the chive dumplings, they were a surprise hit for us; I would've ordered twenty more if i wasn't already filled by their amazing Beef Szechuan Sauce Dinner. The servers also kept track of everything and anything we needed and there was hardly any wait to get refills or clear the table, the service was spectacular. I would absolutely recommend Aroy D if you're looking for a quiet and mindful restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal. read more

We had an amazing experience here. The server was very attentive and the food was superior. My 14 year old son was so impressed with the special rolls and his sweet and sour chicken. That he ordered the house friend rice with shrimp. Give this business your business! Well deserved! read more

This is a sushi review only. First of all the staff is super friendly!!!! We took our own bottle of wine as they do not have a license yet. Second, I will admit that we are a little picky with sushi but we also focus on individual sushi and sashimi and not rolls. The sushi here is very different from the previous establishment and we were a bit disappointed in the quality. However!!! We plan to try the Thai food as the menu looks fabulous! And will definitely modify the review for that part of the menu. read more

Overall the food was pretty good, although the service was horrible. It took so long for the food to come out and me and my family were very hungry. The floor was very sticky and it felt like my shoes were stuck to the ground. The bathroom was dirty as well. read more

The food is ALWAYS phenomenal and the service is GREAT! Joe is my favorite ... he knows what I like without even asking, yet if I ask, he offers ideas of other dishes I may like - and he's never wrong! We eat Thai every chance we get and in every state we travel to, but this is hands down, our favorite! Juicy Beef Noodle and Drunken Noodles are 2 of our favorites. read more

So-so... nothing spectacular to report. The service was good, the food was okay (PadThai seemed sweeter than what we are used to), and the restaurant was ordinary. Will we return? Probably not as there are plenty of other Thai restaurants to go to. We wished it was better! read more

Favorite Asian Restaurant in West Bradenton!!!! Stopped by Aroy D last night again and had another great experience!! We have been to this place for take out and dine-in several times and they have not disappointed yet. Nice people, comfortable atmosphere and great food. Wife and I have a few favorites such as the peanut salad, Singapore noodles, potstickers and the quality is consistent. Sometimes I order yellow tail nigiri sashimi and it has always been fresh and delicious. I will return and do recommend for the Thai food or the sushi!!! read more

I am always on the lookout for a good Thai restaurant. Pad Thai is my test. I really enjoyed the food here and the decor was cute. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and my daughter had the Yellow Curry. After we started our meal with the fried pot stickers, we were happier than two peas in a pod. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Maybe we'll save enough room for dessert next time! read more

OMG This was not a positive experience......not sure where to start the only good thing was our waiter nice young man First of all they don't have many normal things like most Sushi restaurants normally have. ..no tempura of any kind..only deep fried rolls....the sashimi was really bad ..little pieces of whatever the shrimp was so tiny & tasteless the Mackeral the same tasteless ..you have to do something special to Mackeral to have it become tasteless.....the salmon was almost uneatable ......It was very expensive & we will never return....... My husband wouldn't tell me what the bill was .......we just left....chalking the whole night up to a bad choice. BTW the last time we went to that restaurant it was a different owner & was very good..... read more

Food was good, service, not so much. Joe, our server seemed annoyed with everyone and everything. Lots of arguing amongst employees going on when we were there. Not good for guests! I may go back and hope we don't get him as a server. Other Thai and sushi places in Bradenton with friendly and welcoming service! read more

Well, why did I not look at my previous rating? I ordered the panang duck curry before and I was disappointed so why did I order it again now? Again, it was very disappointing. The duck was nothing but a bunch of slices of duck overcooked, the vegetables inside of the curry were nothing but peppers, no onion, no cabbage, no carrots, no sweet pea like they have at Isan Thai in Sarasota. I should've ordered from there. If you want delicious Thai food go to Isan Thai on Tamiami Trail. I'm sorry to say but I will not order from here ever again. read more

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We come almost every weekend (we started to come each weekend because they are open all-day Sat & Sun, now just because they have the best food in town!). Pad Thai is great but when I'm hungry I want the Singapore Noodles. I love them so much it took me a long time to try the Chicken Juicy Noodles and Shrimp & Crab Dumpling Juicy Noodle, Tod Mon etc. So good! There's still more to try. Hubby tries new dishes more than I do; he loves the 3 Flavor Sauce Dinner. Also, don't miss the Mango and Sticky Rice dessert. Really the food is so good I can't recommend more highly. Also, don't let the outside of the storefront fool you, it is lovely inside, nice decorating, flowers on the table, quiet music. Just a wonderful place to enjoy really good food. Try it! Thanks to Joe, Nate, Mindy and all the ladies that cook such delicious stuff! read more

Ordered on holiday through food delivery app. Well packaged for delivery, it was fresh, hot and nice portions. We ordered Pad Thai chicken, Crazy noodle and house special fried rice. Except for the spicy heat level everything was exactly as ordered. Good colors, big pieces of basil, fresh crisp vegetables good flavors and most stand out item really was the house special fried rice. Really looked like it was made with care. But is it mandatory for Thai food places to see how spicy they can get away with making their dishes and not get feedback...? Of the four (4) levels of spiciness, mild-med-hot-extra hot, we ordered medium heat. I can tolerate hot. At a local wing place here, I get TNT as my wing sauce. But, after a few bites, it was too hot to eat. We mixed the rice and some coconut cream & peanut sauce to enjoy the rest. My recommendation for enjoying ARoy's take on Thai is to manage your own heat. Will order again. read more

5 stars from me, started with soup and potstickers both fresh and flavorful, sushi was amazing the pieces were huge and everything was fresh, spider roll was my favorite and then the pad tai 10/10 presentation was beautiful and the noodles were perfect. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. He wore a chefs coat so I assume he knows the kitchen as well. I can't wait to go back, I had only seen this restaurant on doordash before and Im so glad we stopped in. read more

Friends raved about this place, so we tried it and were not disappointed! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Medium spice packs a punch, and was hot enough for our spicy enthusiasts. My husband said the duck curry was the best he has ever had. Will be one of our regular spots. read more

Nice people working there, but...Booth was dirty with a sticky table. It was so disgusting. We wiped it down with the wet ones we had in my purse. Did this help-yepper! Just goes to show you they don't care. This made the experience worse. Very unclean looking restaurant. Service-felt non-existent. Too long of a wait for everything from water to food. And, we were the only ones in there. We should have just left. Food was not good. We had 4 different dishes & sushi & I can legitimately say, I'll never be back & I'll never recommend this place. They just need to close. read more

What a great place for dinner or lunch. The decor is pretty well done with nice piano background. I, as a professional who has played piano background in wonderful restaurants, was very happy with that relaxing music to dine by. They are working on getting their beer/wine license approved. But the atmosphere is so nice, and the food so good, they have other drinks you can enjoy with your food. Just have a your cocktail or whatever before you go. Going back soon for my fourth lunch or dinner; I've been there for both. read more

The service, food, drinks were all absolutely amazing! The service, especially! We had the green curry which my husband loved. Super fresh ingredients The hot was just hot enough. He would not have been able to handle the Thai heat. I had the Bradenton roll, which was delicious! They made my very picky eater son just some steamed chicken with salt and pepper and ketchup, and that was very thoughtful! Great beer and wine selection! The prices were also pleasantly yet surprisingly (with everything else spiked in price) low! read more
