Back again and still 100 stars!!! The staff are so friendly and at this point, have our orders memorized. The food hits the mark every. single. time. The Mexican rolls (with no rho) were fresh as always, stuffed with real shrimp, and great avocado inside. They don't skimp out on the ginger either! The chicken pad Thai always has perfectly cooked noodles, a nice peanut-like creamy sauce, and the perfect amount of chicken. The Thai tea is always an amazing treat to get as well. You can tell it is freshly brewed and made in house. read more

I had red curry for lunch. I asked for mild and it was just right. Not hot but I really liked the curry spices. It came with an egg roll and soup. I really enjoyed the food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It was very clean and I got a really nice welcome feeling there. I'll be going back to try other dishes. read more

We've been looking for a good Thai restaurant and we're so happy that we found Thai Wasabi. All the curry offerings were light, creamy and delicious. The veggie sushi was fresh and tasty. We look forward to our next visit... My husband even said we need to come here once a month! read more

Thai Wasabi - Crispy duck Yellow Curry - Thai Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

This one's tricky to review because there about even pros and cons. I went for lunch and ordered 2 meals. Panang curry and drunken noodles. Both tasted really good flavor wise but both had major flaws. The chicken in both meals was extremely dry. I mean extremely and not even the sauce made it better. The noodles in the drunken were small, thin and very broken up. The dish was dry and needed more moisture/sauce. My normal place closes right after lunch to prep for dinner so I tried this because reviews were high. I'm confused by them. The prices were good. Staff friendly and nice. That my dilemma read more

The food was very good. Service was good. Ambience is just there. I got sushi and it was delicious.

Loved this place. I've passed it dozens of times always meaning to stop. Went with another couple and everyone commented on the quality of preparation, variety of offerings, and how much they enjoyed their meal. More mom and pop style than impressive decor, but very welcoming. read more

The amazing peanut sauce stir fry might be my favorite dish on earth. Seriously. I live out of state and absolutely count on the consistency - satisfying portions, respectful service, and great flavors at this Thai spot! I love their sushi too (try the Tampa roll)! read more

You can always count on Thai Wasabi for delicious food & I usually do take out. They are very accommodating for special requests & prices are reasonable. Extensive menu & lots of options. They get my choices perfect & never miss a thing when I order. read more

First, we arrived several minutes prior to the advertised time they opened for dinner....and they wouldn't let us in. Mind you, it was 96 degrees outside! They finally opened the doors precisely at 5pm They seated us along with several other sweating customers and shortly took our drink orders. She returned with the drinks and I ordered a sushi roll another one in our group ordered the sushi app special. Our sushi roll was delivered and was unremarkable, the wasabi was very weak. Our entrees arrived shortly thereafter and while I thought the flavor of my drunken noodle order was flavorful and the noodles tasted fresh, there was minimal vegetables within my dish and the sauce was rather scant. We decided to try this particular Thai restaurant as one in our group found a preferred dish on the online menu. He also was fairly disappointed with its presentation and flavor. I think we will forgo the substantial mileage and continue to enjoy our usual delicious and preferred Thai and sushi place closer to our home in NW Bradenton, Aroy D on Cortez. read more

This is a hidden gem in Bradenton. The food is fresh, flavorful and moderately priced. They have really great lunch specials that you just can't beat anywhere else, great spot for lunch! My husband and I have dined for dinner (Pad Thai and fried rice with shrimp) and we absolutely love it. The staff knows me as I frequent there for lunch and they are all so nice and it's just a great atmosphere. read more

I've said it once and I'll say it again, hands down the best sushi I've had all over the country. Chill vibes and great ambiance. Very happy staff and they respect your space. read more

Good Thai food is an artwork but you won't find that artwork here. The food is edible but not memorable. I am a spice wimp but tried my husband's "Thai hot" fried rice and it had such a small amount of spice that I could eat it .. That NEVER happens. The service is slow and no one is outwardly friendly or welcoming. The tables are awkwardly spaced and the lighting is strangely dark. Also, jazz seems an odd pairing for a Thai restaurant. It is also very expensive for the quality and quantity of food. I have wanted to try this spot for a while but I am very disappointed. read more

Certainly a good place to pick up some sushi. The quality is usually pretty good, but nothing really stands out. We frequent this place, so that should say something about it. read more

Thai Wasabi was A-ok for Thai food. The Tom kha was my fave. It is a coconut soup base with chicken. It was warm and hearty. With that I ordered the u lala roll. I wanted a roll that was cooked since I was chilly and I thought it be the best of both worlds. Roll and warm. It was ok. It was fried and I thought there was too much Mayo on it. Easy does it. My hubby had pad Thai, his usual. One review said it was like heavy on the peanut butter. I kind of felt the same. It wasn't sweeter and the not my fave. It only had small pieces of chicken and nothing else mostly noodles. Our server was very nice and the restaurant is nice as well. The booths are only for huge parties. There are smaller booths for three or more, tables and half booths which are two tables. This is where we sat. Would I come back again? Nope. read more

First time, in for takeout for 6 This is old school...no delivery, no on line orders. Call in and pickup. The restaurant located on SR 64 has plenty of parking in this small strip mall. Upon entering you are greeted and then get to choose- dine in, eat at (empty when I was there) the sushi bar, or give your order name. There are seats lining the left side wall for waiters, and as the restaurant was full up inside reservations (call in) are highly recommended! The process is well organized and food was ready precisely on time with their original projection. As for the food...we had Mom & Dad's rolls (ok, nothing special, small and fried), tuns and avocado roll and salmon sushi (very good), pad Thai with Panang curry sauce (good), crispy duck with basil chili (on the side) sauce (outstanding) two sexy girls (shrimp and chicken) with curry (excellent and super fresh) and Pad Ladnar (noodles) with hot sauce (sorta hot, enough for me at least), steamed dumplings (excellent). Looking forward to eating in and avoiding the drive back and forth for takeout. read more

Consistent great food and good service at reasonable prices for years. An underrated staple for the area not replete with Asian restaurants.

Sooooo good! Steamed dumplings - yummy Crab Rangoon (like little balls)- delicious Yellow curry is amazing .... Amazing Peanut sauce fantastic Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, Recommend! read more

I'm not a sushi guy but everything that I have had here has been excellent starting with the soup and egg roll included with lunch. Tom Ka, Drunken Noodle, curry, lettuce wraps all are delicious! read more

We were excited to try this place due to the reviews being overall great but we were very disappointed. We ordered the drunken noodles, another noodle dish, the fried fish and a few appetizers and everything was very very bland. It almost was like they just blanched the vegetables and added to noodles with no spice/sauce whatsoever. It was very odd. Unfortunately won't be coming here again. read more

I love this restaurant! I bet I've been there 15-20 times in the last 2 years. Whatever I've ordered has been freshly made and tastes really good. Love this place! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Their fried rice is cooked to perfection! Veggies are a touch crunchy, delicious.

The restaurant was busy and the service was Fabulous. They're the BEST Thai food in Sarasota/Bradenton - it's FIRE!

1st time and last. Soup was really tasteless. Ordered noodles for dinner. Came out like warm and it actually tasted like soap. Gave the dinner back. Did not have anything else except the sprite that they served from a can. Not even worth a half a Star. read more

Pad Thai tasted like straight peanut butter. Very greasy. No lime on the side. Tom kha gai was super watered down, had like two thin slices of chicken. Not impressed. I had high hopes, as this was recommended as the number one Thai restaurant in the area. The spring roll had pork and I was not notified it had pork. I had to figure it out myself while eating. Service was mid. Will not be coming here again. Overall underwhelming experience. read more

Best Thai restaurant in Bradenton. Quality Thai and sushi. Very nice atmosphere and great friendly service. Authentic dishes and central location in a little strip mall on Manatee Avenue. Love their Thai iced tea and Panang Curry is to live for. Desert is good also. My friends had noodles and enjoyed their food as well. I order frequently from Thai Wasabi and never been disappointed. They are closed Sunday and Monday and an extended lunch so check before you go. read more

It was worth a try but just not great.. I never made it in before because of the hours but really wanted to try. The service was good I'll start with that and that's important to me. The food is what is subpar, it was all hot but just didn't taste great.. Gyoza reminded me of frozen food that was the worst part. My sushi was alright flavor wise but not as cold or firm as I would like. I like raw sushi and their menu had more cooked options that could be why, and the ingredient were fresh which is important. The pad tai was good, but just good nothing more, overall I think there's just better options food wise, I'll come back maybe for a lunch and I really do like the service but the food just wasn't great. read more

The Thai food is OK wouldn't say it's great but wouldn't say it's terrible. It's just OK. The sushi is pretty good though.

This place is the best Thai food restaurant in America. Every meal we have ever had here has been amazing. We've tried almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. We've been going there for over 4 years every time we are in town. Wish they were in our home town. The service is awesome. read more

Thai Wasabi has been my #1 Sushi restaurant. Nothing in this area comes close to the flavors & expertise I've experienced every single time! I highly recommend the Special Rolls. Perfectly presented & delicious. read more

Great Panang curry! Served with the duck is a must. I always get it Thai hot, which is spicy for most but if you know what true Thai hot is, it's not as spicy as what I'm used to. Thats ok though, the flavors are absolutely delish! We usually also get the spring rolls as an appetizer which are also nice, fresh, and light. I've tried several of their sushi rolls too which have been great. Plan to keep on trying more things on the menu. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is clean and nice. read more

Great service. Amazing portions. My kiddo and I thoroughly enjoyed it there. We will definitely be back.
