Review for takeout only, as I was getting my hair done in the shopping plaza and needed a quick bite. Ordered the tom yum soup with chicken ( great flavor and fresh mushrooms), seaweed salad ( delicious and a good portion), and a rainbow roll ( large pieces, roe on top, and very fresh). Will definitely return to dine in and eat more! read more

This place is delicious! I came here last year with my cousin and friends and we came back again and it didn't disappoint! The service was so fast, cookie was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I got the chicken hibachi and it was a large size so was able to get a box and take some home for lunch! The pricing is so good for what you get! The restaurant was packed but they turned around people fast! The decorations were cute with cherry blossom decorations. Definitely check it out if you are looking for solid hibachi read more

The owners and staff here are the kindest people. They went above and beyond for me when I accidentally left my wallet at the front counter and I couldn't be more grateful. Love the yellowtail and they have the best clear soup and house salad I've ever had! Will always come back :) read more

Delicious, great service and lunch time specials are a real plus! Sushi is so fresh and a great place to grab a bite or two.

Been there a few times now and never disappointed. Delicious and generous portions . The staff are extremely nice at Osaka . I got the filet mignon hibachi last time it was so good with a bunch of delicious vegetables and rice . The ambiance is also very cute for groups or intimate dining read more

Tried this restaurant out for the first time. We got take out. The food was hot and well cooked. Vegetables were tender but not mushy, which is always good! The chicken and steak were tasty. The meal came with a clear soup that I did not try however I did order a miso soup which was light, salty and not overloaded with seaweed, so to me it was very good. The fried tofu could have been crispier. Overall the food tasted like it was thought out well. read more

This is a new favorite. This place has definitely become popular and therefore busy! Good for them. The sushi is delish, and even though there is no hibachi grill inside, the hibachi meals are excellent and well portioned. The venue is pretty cool and service expeditious! read more

Incredible restaurant ! My husband and I come visit almost every week. We work together so sometimes we have to work through lunch. It's such good food, and impeccable service. I bring my family when they are visiting. Bento box is my favorite. My picky husband loves everything and is even willing to try new foods. My favorite salad & miso soup. This is so affordable and such a comfort food of mine. I love sushi and the shrimp terayaki. You better choose to eat here. The decoration is so pretty, and the staff is so kind. read more

Came in for dinner with a fairly large party (7) and we were able to immediately get a table. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, explaining any questions we had about the menu and quickly bringing out food items. I ordered the Key West roll but also tried bits of the sashimi combination, Little Tokyo roll, and Rock n Roll roll. All items were fantastic and flavorful--down to the avocado in each roll. The plates were also very pretty, and we were very impressed by the presentation of the sashimi combination. read more

We just got takeout from here but enjoyed the food, it seemed like good portion sizes and the flavors were good! It did take a while just to get someone's attention enough to pick up our order, but it seemed like they were genuinely busy. I'd order from here again! read more

Food: the food was just okay. We had the chicken hibachi. The rice was fine but lacks any depth of flavor, the chicken was dry. This was the second time having dry chicken. Another had the noodles that were bland and not good. Service: To-go order and Osaka charges a MANDATORY 20% TIP! Why are you charged a tip for. Please management tell me what this tip is going to. I got zero service and picked up own my meal. I'm a firm believer that if I order standing up, I am not tipping. 3 hibachi dinners with 2 orders of gyoza. $92. Don't foresee going back. read more

Had a very enjoyable lunch experience they have a two or three roll combination. They also have a lunch hibachi menu. Sushi was very fresh. Miso soup was delicious. Had many servers walked by the table and check on us. Nice staff. I will say that parking is ridiculous due to the plaza. read more

We have eaten here several times and the food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Our favorite dish to order is the hibachi with chicken or shrimp with fresh veggies and fried rice, and the 301 roll. Everything is fresh and made to order. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a lovely atmosphere, and the service is very good. We come here at least once month. read more

Had lunch with friends today and to say I was surprised by how good this was is putting it mildly. I ordered the lunch two roll option, and asked them to remove the cucumber. They did on one roll but the other one didn't. They were very busy too, and I didn't want to have to wait for a repeat so I just pulled it out. Otherwise it was wonderful. I would definitely go back and will be happy to refer people to them. read more

I go here at least 3x a month. Their spicy maki combo is a good and filling deal. I like how little rice use to make each roll. Also included soup and salad. Also service is great. read more

Had a delicious lunch at Osaka Sushi and Grill! I started with a refreshing Thai iced tea paired with spring rolls as an appetizer, which was a delightful introduction. For the main course, I opted for the hibachi chicken meal that came with a soup, a crisp salad, a generous portion of hibachi chicken fried rice, and a flavorful vegetable mix. The restaurant was spotless, and the service was exceptional. With food that's both very good and reasonably priced, I'll definitely be back! read more

Food is very good. Pricey. They wont provide any extras or special changes. Everything is a NO or a big upcharge. The snotty bimbos working the register at the door are a turn off. Totally unpleasant. It takes three of them to operate a register. Go figure. read more

We gave this place some time to work out the kinks. We've been a few times and I have really enjoyed each visit. The spicy girl roll and tuna tataki are my favorite things there, so yummy! not the best or worst just needs better flavoring and more creativity with their sushi rolls. Ok in a pinch

Trying to be kind since ive eaten there twice and still feeling lackluster . The long awaited anticipation while it was being built did not live up to the hype nor my expectations, unfortunately...and while Ive read some of the "rave" reviews listed here and on google, i must be at a different restaurant as the food is mediocre here in my opinion at best. I first tried the bento box...( it had been sooo long since i had one)...sad, next time in the true test....the sushi!...so-so at best. Tom was a good server and very personable ...so points for that...debating whether i will go back and try it when they have more time open...but so far for me...its mediocre at best. I dont care as much about the value but rather more about authenticity, flavor and presentation! Not here at this time. read more

We've picked up dinner here a few times now and are always pleased with the price, portions, and quality of their food. The sushi and hibachi dishes are great! One of the best deals for Japanese fare in the Parrish/Ellenton/North Palmetto area. (Tonight we ordered 4 rolls, plus beef fried rice, for less than $50). read more

I got a Little Tokyo roll and a bowl of miso soup. The miso soup was good, just as I expected it to be. The Little Tokyo was also pretty good. It had a little more fried onions on top than I would have liked but those are easy to take off. The service was great and fast. Our waiter had a conversation with us based on what we were already talking about and was very nice. read more

Great food, great location, great atmosphere, wonderful staff! The prices are reasonabl!

Unfortunately, our dining experience at this Japanese hibachi restaurant was far from satisfactory. The Crab Rangoons, though crispy and tasty, were mostly filled with cream cheese and lacked crab. I had to swap my sweet tea, which was underwhelming, for a Coke due to its poor taste. The service was notably lacking. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and had a significant language barrier, which led to a series of misunderstandings. For instance, when we asked for our hibachi meal to be split into two plates, he simply brought us two small empty plates. He also had difficulty keeping track of our orders and never offered to refill our drinks. While I understand there might be cultural and language differences, the restaurant should ensure all staff can effectively communicate with guests to maintain a good service standard. The food itself was disappointing. The hibachi steak was overcooked and flavorless; we requested medium but received well-done. Similarly, the rice was bland, and not even soy sauce or yum yum sauce could salvage it. The lobster was also overcooked and unpleasant to eat. This is perhaps the worst hibachi meal I've had anywhere in the world. I left most of it uneaten. Additionally, it's worth noting there was no hibachi table, which detracted from the expected hibachi experience. On a slightly positive note, the salad with ginger dressing was tasty, but that alone couldn't make up for the overall poor experience. This restaurant needs to reconsider both its food quality and service training to live up to the expectations of a genuine hibachi experience. The seating is tight, nothing special about the restaurant, tables or chairs. read more

Osaka Sushi & Grill - Yellow Tail with Jalapeño!! Fabulous - Sushi Bars Near Me - Parrish, Florida

Best sushi in the area by far. Very fresh. Great service just wish they delivered on door dash!

Came here for Mother's Day with a medium size group. Food and service were good, prices were decent. Seating is tight. Parking is tight, bathrooms did not seem that clean. I think they're still trying to get their selves together. It's new, I get that and they're working on it. I opted for something on the conservative side, thinking that maybe wouldn't get screwed up, and it wasn't. I had the pineapple fried rice with the chicken, which is a pretty safe bet. Our appetizers were Crab Rangoons- good. Some sort of dumplings-good. A quick fried beef with a teriyaki sauce (at home, we call it satay beef)-good. Spouse had the salmon and crab sushi, which she enjoyed. Did not catch what my sister in law and brother-in-law had, nor my niece and nephew, but they enjoyed it. All in all pretty decent , price was good. They do not have a lot of seating as they are kind of a small small space but I would say a slightly above average stop. Slightly better than a Asian fast food. read more

Food was great and service was excellent. Went on Valentines Day so thought it would be crazy but they handled the crowds well.
