Awful pho. Very tough tendon. Charges 3% for credit card plus convenience fee. Lack of customers says it all.

Today I walked in to pay for and pick up my called in order. When I walked up to the counter the worker looked at me and walked away without further acknowledging me. Another employee appeared from around the corner looked at me but instead of greeting me or asking if I needed anything she addressed the person that had walked up, standing behind me. That patron informed the employee I was first/next. When the employee turned her attention back to me she hurried me to answer her because I wasn't quick to say anything cause I couldn't believe I had been ignored twice and skipped over. I chose to leave instead of paying for and receiving my order. Needless to say I won't be returning. I used to enjoy their food and in the past when they have been busy their service showed but nothing like the total disregard I experienced today. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant while going to Publix. Medium size restaurant, clean, minimal decors. It really gives that Vietnamese restaurant vibes - if you know, you know. If you're looking for some authentic Vietnamese food, I highly recommend this place. Pho dac biet (special) tastes great. A little different from what I'm used to but you can smell all the spices and the flavor was balanced. All the sides and sauces were there too. Grilled pork vermicelli was delicious was well!! I added egg rolls to my bowl which was good but skippable. Refreshing veggies. Great fish sauce. The grilled pork was marinated well. This is a dish I can eat daily because it's pretty healthy and low calories. Vietnamese coffee - strong and sweetened with condensed milk. I got a generous sized cup and couldn't even finish it. Id definitely get this again. There were two servers - including the manager herself. Both were nice and polite. Manager checked up on us a few times. This is better service than most Vietnamese restaurants in LA. read more

Can only comment on ambiance and service, because we walked out; no one greeted us upon entering, and there was no indication of their seating process. Every table with people had no food, and every table without diners was piled with dirty dishes. A patron closest to us was kind enough to share that he'd been waiting with his family for 45 minutes for his dinner. 45 minutes!!! I thanked him and we did an about-face. Absolute gem! The food is fresh, well seasoned and even the nuoc mam (fish sauce) is good. Service is terrific and we got refills 3x! Order the Rice Special, you can't go wrong! I am Vietnamese, from Houston/Dallas area and I approve! read more

I had spring rolls, crab rangoons and chicken Pho. Spring rolls standard shrimps were small, pork was dry. Crab Rangoon filling good but not a fan of sweetness. Won ton wrappers thicker and chewy. Pho, chicken very dry, veggies fresh but the onions weren't sweet they were very hot and bitter, broth just ok, lacked flavor all I could taste was 5 spice. Pretty expensive for soup. Always fantastic! Pho is delicious and hot. Shrimp tempura is a great starter. My boyfriends is obsessed with the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls. Chicken Pho is delicious! We've eaten here several times and always enjoy the chicken pho with homemade egg noodles. A plethora of fresh ingredients such as Thai basil, lime, bean sprouts, Jalapeño, etc. comes with the Pho. Service is attentive and friendly. My only complaint is the ambiance could be much better. I spent the first 20 years of my life in Bradenton and don't recall experiencing any Asian food other than Chinese takeout, sushi rolls and hibachi joints. Fast forward after living in different cities, and now LA for the past 9 years, Vietnamese food is definitely a top 3 fave of mine. I was a little skeptical about what this place would be. In Bradenton/SRQ, I think a lot of places claiming to be viet or Thai try too hard to cater to old white people and the menu ends up being the same generic mix of "asian" things: orange chicken, sushi, generic sweet boba tea, etc. We got the Pho special (dac biet), vermicelli noodle bowl with pork and egg rolls. Both were surprisingly good. You can taste the toasted aromatics in the pho, which is somewhat rare even in LA where the competition is much steeper. A lot of places just go heavy on the salty/MSG beefy flavor because it's easy to scale, and you don't taste the aromatics. I'd give the pho 7/10 Also got a viet coffee, which was good, and a pretty large serving Overall good experience. read more

In a Publix center near Hwy. 70, we were excited to finally find a pho restaurant. (Say that 3x fast!) Ironically, we opted for a vermicelli with tofu bowl and chicken fried rice. Large portions, very tasty, with plenty of veggies. Family owned charming restaurant, very clean as well. I tried the iced coffee which is very strong so be prepared for the caffeine kick! Looking forward to trying the pho next time...they offer meat or chicken or veggie broth. Plenty of parking...enjoy! read more

Horrible from the start! No star at all! Walked in as party of 3 and no one said hello and/or we will be right with you. A lady was cleaning up a table and saw us and then directed us to that table to sit. She brought out 2 waters, but she didn't look like she understood English so I was going to wait till waiter asked us for our order to ask for another water. After a long wait, the waiter finally came and asked for our order. 2 #1 soup and an order of egg rolls and a side of rice as meal for our child. I also asked for another water. Our order egg rolls came without the rice and then a table who came about 10 mins later also got their egg rolls at the same time (waitress came to our table with 2 plates of egg rolls). I then asked for the rice to be brought out since I said that was part of my child's egg roll meal. About 10 mins later, still no rice, but then our 2 soups came and I had to remind about the rice and rice water. Rice came. Water never did! I had to go up to counter to ask for bill and when she finally brought it to us, we were charged for 2 orders of egg rolls. About another 10 minutes later, we were given the corrected bill. Waitress not once gave an apology and/or explanation as to why service was slow and why we were charged for 2 egg rolls. read more

This is my first time having pho in years. Last time i tried it was awful but it must have been the restaurant because this place is delicious!! The broth is so flavorful and you get a huge serving. Our server was new and she was super nice and helpful. Only thing we didn't enjoy was the music but the food and service is worth it! read more

Hi everyone, it's almost Christmas Day and what a crazy day of shopping it's been for us. So my girlfriend and I went through a crazy day of shopping in Sarasota and since we haven't eaten all day, we decided to get some pho north from where we were shopping and a little bit out-of-the-way but well worth it so far the place looks great, must be pretty new , very hospitable. Hanging with my pops, his food preferences while on the road are non-dairy and not-to-heavy with some kind of Asian influence. Of course pho would fit these so YELP brought us here. The cleanliness of the restaurant was welcoming and the food was brought out within minutes from ordering like they knew we were coming in. The spring rolls are tasty and we both got pho combo 1 which had a nice not-to-rich broth. Noodles pulled apart nicely and the meats had good consistency. I also ordered myself a mango boba tea; great way to wash down a hot bowl of pho! Not many pho spots I can think of in Florida; thankfully there's this one! read more

What a great place!!! My wife and I each had a Pho and hands down, it was the best I've ever had! The broth was absolutely amazing of which I later found out that it is homemade from true scratch. Our server explained to me that they boil down beef bones pulling out all the marrow. The beef in mine and shrimp in my wife's was cooked perfectly and not over cooked prior to adding it to the Pho. It was expectedly served with fresh: bean sprouts, Thai Basil, Jalapeño slices and chunks of freshly cut limes. It was just an awesome meal. Can't forget about the spring rolls as they were at the quality level of the Pho, absolutely delicious! I'm looking forward to going back and eating my way through the whole menu! read more

The pho broth was the best I've had in the Bradenton area so far. The summer rolls (idk why menu calls then spring rolls) and sauce were good. The mango bubble tea was creamy. It's felt kind of expensive for a bowl of pho to be $17 but it was $18 at Pho Cali in Sarasota so I guess this is the avg price. I went at 5:30pm on a Saturday and I didn't have to wait. We had the tofu roll, B8. Tofu Stir fry Lemongrass Vermicelli, and the vegetable fried rice. Delicious is the word that comes to mind. Absolutely get the C1 rice platter. Pork chop is well marinated, cooked perfectly and juicy. The platter comes with shrimp, sausage, salad, sunny side egg & pork skin. Portion sizes are huge. Really good Pho. I had the seafood verion: two scallops, five shrimp several slices of calamari and three chunks of artificial crab...all very fresh. Veggies were fresh too. Large bowels...a complete meal. The place is clean, reasonably crowded at lunch time...tables spaced well apart. Staff was friendly and efficient. This place needs help, how did it earn 4.3 stars. I waited 17 minutes before anyone talked to me. There is one employee and a her helper who doesn't speak English. I can run a better restaurant and I do accounting lol! They didn't have banh mi and it wasn't stated on the menu. I was expecting to order that and after 17 minutes I found out they didn't have it available. There is a 2 people who are waiting to pay and 2 waiting to be seated, as I write this. There is a strange laziness in Sarasota area. The folks here refused to take care of themselves. From cooking for themselves to cleaning to walking dogs Sarasota needs help! Dm me let's start a restaurant!.... After the food came out I gave them a 2 star because after all we did eat.
