Won't return. We saw this one on our dinner at Mariscos Azteca Mexican. A L shaped restaurant, that serves Japanese and SE Asian cuisine. Quiet on a Sunday evening. Two pleasant young women (both with long pony tails) work the room. Service is so so: trying for good five minutes to tell the server (seeing her come and go) that the Pinot noir turned; my cab is ok. "How old is this bottle?" She said, "normally is less than a week." Oh well. Their stems are not bad. Two little kids, a boy and a girl are behind the bar counter. I've mixed feelings for kids in a work place ... Foods are fine: Thai lettuce Wrap - minced pork on the sweet side; have to ask for spicy sauce Sashimi style dinner - ok Spicy tuna roll - something crunchy which makes the roll interesting A Caucasian man comes and goes in the bar counter, sporting 'vineyard vines' t shirt . So my partner and I have been visiting this restaurant frequently for at least a year now; we LOVE THIS PLACE. You could eat affordably or splurge here. We love the dinner dishes like Pad Woon Sen, Pad Thai, or Green Curry. You can adjust spice to your preference (we like it hot) and accommodate a gluten free diet. We also love all the sushi and hot sake. And, when we save room, get the Mango Sticky rice. We always have a perfect meal here. The servers are so friendly and accommodating. After a few visits, they recognize us every time and greet us like friends. The restaurant itself has adorable decor and is mindful of its customers. Everything is spaced well and acoustically balanced. The music volume is perfect. You can hear conversations with your table mates or befriend the next table of people with ease. Today I ordered the sushi lunch special with three rolls and chicken Pad Thai. I called ahead to pick up lunch and the woman who took my order was very kind and the food was ready within 15 minutes. The inside the decor was beautiful and the service greats you with a genuine smile. Unfortunately the food lacked the passion of the wait staff. The rice used for my sushi was over seasoned with vinagre for my taste and it was a little crispy as if they let it dry out for too long. The Pad Thai was also a little bland. I ordered it medium-hot and it was not spicy at all. If I come back I'll be asking the staff what they recommend and what they personally eat from the menu. read more

You'll find different ambience when you enter to this place. I like how they design their interior. I can feels the nature even tho there wasn't much or any plants. The food was good! We ordered chicken teriyaki, sushi phi phi island and papaya salad. Everything was good! They make sushi a bit different. I feel like eating rice cake with toppings. In fairness, this restaurant was packed. So clearly they have created a popular model. But it was certainly not really Thai food. I doubt any Thai person would eat there and there were none. Patrons were mainly young and middle aged Americans. Main flavors were salty and oily. They are shooting for fast casual with Thai twist. But none of the aromatic herbs and spices or complex flavors of Thai cuisine were evident. Our service was awful and not fast. It took 40 minutes for a small bowl of Tom Kha soup and a small plate of lettuce wraps. The food did not look appetizing and mainly tasted salty. The soup had 5 small, tasteless farmed (Thai probably!) shrimp floating in a flat broth. The lettuce wraps were served with a wedge of iceberg lettuce, a small handful of obviously prepackaged crispy rice, and some salty chopped chicken that they didn't even seem to attempt to add discernible Thai spices to. Since we don't eat out often, it was mainly irritating. I'm writing this review because I wish someone else had so we would have known and not wasted a rare dinner out (Mother's Day dinner because this Mom loves Thai). But again, their audience is Americans who must really want plate a piled with noodles with a lot of oil and salt and your choice of a protein. I've eaten in person a few times but normally order delivery. I love this place, the food is extremely tasty, consistent AND 95% of the time they make my food per my special requests. If they're closed or it's a day they don't deliver I order something else instead of finding another Asian restaurant. Seriously this place is awesome. . I have been eating here for 4 years and delivery often (1-2xs a week) so it's not a random good/bad review. I order noodle dishes regularly and the one tip is when the food is delivered, make sure to dump dish out of styrofoam container ASAP otherwise your noodles and the dish will be mushy and very clumped from the steam. read more

Once again a 5 star experience- every staff member is always so gracious and kind! I love the variety and the ability to ask the sushi chef to just do their thing- make a special roll. A nice little lunch I was on foot in the area while my car was being fixed, looking for air conditioning and food. Siam Gulf had both. I liked the place as soon as I entered, it had a dark feel with black chairs and all, even though it really wasn't dark inside for lunch. Tables were well spaced apart. When you walk in you see a short counter when you can order or pick up takeout. I was eating in, and they have table service, a person told me to sit wherever I liked. I spotted the term lunch combo on the menu, when my server came by she helped me understand what that was. You get either Mizo Soup or Ginger Salad, and for one of the options you pick a protein and the select what you want it mixed in with. I picked Pork and their Sweet & Sour Stir Fried. They also have some Sushi, Noodle, and Curry options. The food was ready quickly, great if you have limited time for lunch. I would have preferred more food, and I think I would try something different than what I picked next time, but what I got was fine. This is my second time eating from this restaurant. The first time my partner and I dined in. Service was extremely nice and professional! I loved that they were so nice and accommodating when we were curious of any of the items on the menu. The item that was most memorable to me was the Tuna on Fire. As the menu describes: Spicy tuna top with fresh tuna, tuna tartare, tobikko, sriracha and eel sauce. I like spicy so I would give it a 2.5 out of 5 on the spice level but may be a little more spicy to others. IT WAS DELICIOUS! I was enjoying the meal so much I had my phone away so no pics on that. Both my partner and I throughly enjoyed it & they ended up ordering this in our to-go order this time around. As for me, I ordered the Pad See Ew with fried tofu and veggie egg rolls. I believe I did a spice level 2 but I didn't taste that kick I was looking for so maybe next time I might bump it up to a 3. My favorite part was the fried tofu. It made the experience even better. My friend got some tempura veggies and sweet and sour stir fry. I was generally impressed with all the items. The portions are generous and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. The prices are also very reasonable. The only thing I thought could have been done better was the sushi. The roll was quite rice heavy, and there was no spice to the tuna.
