We initially called a plumber who overcharged us and actually made the leak worse (lesson learned). We subsequently decided to call Just Water Treatment Inc. who came out to take a look. The specialist who came out (I think it was the owner) really spent a long time trying to repair and fix our current system before explaining that we did, in fact, need an entire new one because of some irreparable cracks (that I think were caused by the plumber we initially called -_-) . Although that was disappointing to hear, I really appreciated that they obviously made every effort to repair our current one before suggesting we get a new one and clearly articulated why we needed a new one. It definitely did not feel like they were upselling or anything. The specialist went ahead and installed a new reverse osmosis system under the sink and let us know that they can come out yearly to maintain it and change the filters (we signed up for that service as well). This happened back in November and everything has been going smoothly since! We are really happy with the specialist's efforts and service and with our new water filtration system. I called Meeks water treatment and asked them to come give me a solution. I explained I am from NY and have never had to deal with a well or this type of water and would be relying on their expert information. They discussed a system that would stop all the above and give us great water to drink. I agreed and we had the system installed. Had them set up on a regular visit for salt and service. So, the smell and black residue came back shortly after (just under a year) they came out looked it over and said THEY installed one of the pieces backwards and they needed to fix that AND I had to pay for labor. Yup, I did it, again, mistakes happen, ok, I dont think I should have had to pay, but. Ok, a little over a month, SAME THING. This time they tell me, again their mistake, I should have had a different unit installed not what I have and oh yes, they would give me a break on parts and labor, but I still had to pay. You guessed it, AGAIN we have the same thing, paid again for a service call to be told I need to get a plumber to come back wash my new water heater because when they had them set up in the wrong order it may have pushed sediment into the heater. Paid a plumber to come do just that, have video of NOTHING coming out of the heater and the plumber said, no way that is what is wrong. so here I sit, thousands out and still have a smell to the water and black sediment in the toilets. HELP, I am done calling Meek for them to keep charging me for THEIR mistakes. I wouldnt be SO against them if maybe they once said, Hey, this has been our problem, the service call is on us.

It was very expensive to replace the filter so often. Biggest thing I wanted to share was how they caused over $50,000 in water damage from their leaking water filtration in my kitchen.. they accepted responsibility and paid for the first 16,000 of it to get actively growing mold infestation my house after eight months. Finally all the mold in the cabinets and the flooring were removed that were all damaged from the water leak and now the company has refused to return any phone calls any emails.
