The crew did a fantastic job with the repair work as well as with correcting the original builders mistake. They did such a good job on that work that I contracted with them to replace my aging roof as well. Again, that job was done extremely well. In both cases the crews were careful not to damage any of the plant beds around the house, cleaned up remarkably well and generally left me feeling very good about the quality of the work. I waited a year to post this review because I wanted to test that feeling and be able to review the results over time. Fox River passed the test with flying colors as all of the repair work and the new roof performed as expected. Finally, the price for both contracts was very fair considering the high quality work that was done. Hire these guys.

The employee, I believe an estimator, who was standing near by walked to the truck but did not move it. The neighbor returned just after the truck left. They were probably too polite to say anything. The next day one of my own family members complained that one of the company trucks was blocking our driveway.

I was so happy at the cost of the quote I asked if he could start the same day. He said no but someone would get a hold of me by the end of the day. They were able to schedule me for March 10th. On Monday the 9th it was raining and I got a call first thing in the morning telling me that the rain was going to put them a day behind and they would be out on March 11th. Later that afternoon they called me back and said that they were able to get some work done in between the rain and the 10th was back on. Tuesday came and they called me that they were still on and would call again when they were headed over to work on the roof. They called back later that morning to say they were on the way. Kaerek Homes is the absolute worst company I've had the misfortune to work with! Jordan Kaerek advised that the lot was open and promised that he would hold onto the property while we spoke about a home build. This occurred on a Monday and I met with him to hammer out the particulars that Thursday. We were still in mid-negotiation when I received an email from him the next day that the lot was now sold and under contract. Kaerek never informed me that someone else was looking into the lot and never offered a right of first refusal to me. They lied to my face and completely broke their promise. I tried discussing the matter with Jordan on the phone and all he did was interrupt and talk over me. At the time I met with Jordan, the company was having a 65th anniversary party at their facility and he was more interested in getting to their barbeque than working on my home build. After two years of endless searching, my wife and I finally located the lot of our dreams and were crushed by this miserable company! Jordan and Kaerek Homes are absolute slime and I would implore anyone to fine another builder!
