I used Yelp to look at 8-9 different house cleaning providers in the area, read all of the reviews, asked about prices, etc. I found that Ana's Detailed House Cleaning presented as the best option for me: prices were reasonable, ratings and reviews indicated they did good work and had been doing it for quite a few years, and above all else they were very responsive over Yelp's messaging service. While I did see a few 1 and 2-star ratings, after reading those reviews I found most of them to be weird complaints from years and years ago. They're not indicative of current service. The promptness and attentiveness, combined with being intentional about explaining their services and answering questions in a reasonable amount of time, showed to me they were taking their work seriously. I started with a Deep Cleaning, which was just finished today. They did a great job. They caught little issues other house cleaners have ignored (dust under the fridge, for example) and went above and beyond to make the beds in a nice and well-presented manner. They were also friendly to my cats. I'm looking forward to having them come regularly.

As someone who is fairly meticulous and a bit of a germaphobe, I chose Daiany because I thought her work on Yelp spoke for itself. She was my first pick, and I'm so glad she was able to help me. With pretty short notice, Daiany was able to provide a quote, answer my questions, and get me scheduled. She was super responsive and thorough when communicating before and after our time together. On the day of, she messaged me her ETA and arrived right on time. She and her team member helped return a unit that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year to a nearly new state. The floors were made spotless, cabinets were unstickified, blinds were cleaned, oil stains were removed from the kitchen, colorful mold was removed from the shower walls and floor, etc. I was genuinely amazed that they were able to clean the shower as well as they did! They far exceeded my expectations. There were a few small things missed toward the end of a fairly long cleaning session, and Daiany was more than happy to address any remaining issues, which was sincerely appreciated. I haven't had too many move-out cleanings performed, but Daiany has been the best, and I plan to use her for any cleanings I need moving forward. They gently dusted my custom blinds which consist of pleated material and rendered my oven almost as clean as it was on the day I bought the stove. The oven door glass was sparkling! The most impressive thing of all is that they managed to clean our kitchen hood. We rent and when we moved in six years ago it was already dripping grease, it was so gunked up (like, it was literally coming out of the light and fan switches). We hired cleaners when we first moved in but they looked at the hood and said it couldn't be done, so ever since we never bothered to clean it or look into getting it cleaned. I didn't mention the hood to the Magic Hands cleaners and assumed they would also skip it like the previous cleaners, so my jaw hit the floor when they showed it to me after they had finished the house. Each time, they have come on time and have done a great job cleaning my apartment. I found pricing to be straightforward and reasonable. They have also made sure to have at least two staff cleaning the apartment so that my 1100 sq apt is usually done in less than two hours. The operator was not communicative at all - I had to keep pestering her for updates on the cleaner's arrival. Their ETA was consistently wrong, and they even lied to me about the cleaner's arrival at one point - the operator told me that the cleaner could not find parking at our location, but there was ample street parking outside at the time. After waiting 90 minutes and with the cleaners nowhere to be seen and the movers arriving soon, I had to cancel the scheduled cleaning service. There was no apology or accountability for their lack of punctuality and dishonesty. I cannot recommend Patricia's Cleaning Services to anyone.
