But the one thing that really was concerning was a nest left my birds due to having babies. They were long gone but I didn't want to have to clean everything down there. Im in my late 30's man. Ive played sports years ago. Ive lifted so much stuff up as a kid growing up. Im trying to protect my body as much as I can so I can be around years later. Had three other quotes for $150-200. She called me and said it was really bad and would be $550. She finished the job in about 3 hours. Pretty good hourly pay! These are pictures of a swiffer mop in just the kitchen area. Also a pic of the vacuum of just one of two bedrooms. AFTER I paid her way too much to do the cleaning. I messaged her to ask if she could go back the next day to clean out the cupboards she missed and to vacuum and mop. She never responded. She was nice but I don't know if she could be considered a professional. Edited: 1 star. She is unkind and name-calling. I don't live in NY. My tenants moved in the day after she cleaned and sent me the photos. It is true that my place was left in disrepair but she did not deliver a clean home nor did she stand by her work or even message me back when I messaged her about the issues the very next day. In fact, until now, I haven't received a response from her (except her reply in which she attacks me).

The kitchen was still greasy. I texted her to return. But she refused and asked me to stop bothering her even though I told her that I would leave her a good comment on Yelp. Also, don't hire her husband as a Handyman to do any work. Not only he was equally irresponsible, never finished the job after demanding me to pay him before the work was done (my fault and big lesson learned), he was flirtatious almost the whole time!

For this half-job on my new 3 bed 2 bath house in Fairfield, than what I paid for my 2 bed 1 bath place in South San Francisco. So , not much bigger place, living in a lower cost of living area, yet 3x the COST.. for worse job? I don't even know if the exorbitant flat price I paid included tip (or even decent pay) for those who cleaned my house. As a single mother of a developmentally delayed child working multiple jobs on a tight income , no time to deep clean things clean myself but busting my @$$ to keep it all together on my own... I feel grateful that someone else did something productive in this home other than me for once! This time, the company told me they had never been asked for a COI by a client before, and shortly after, they cancelled my appointment, saying they felt I was "setting them up." I was surprised by this reaction, as reputable service providers typically have liability insurance and can provide proof without issue. Because they refused to provide a COI and cancelled my booking, I cannot speak to the quality of their current work. However, I would caution other homeowners that if you want to ensure a vendor is insured, this may not be the right company for you.
