So I almost didn't eat here. I ordered a veggie calzone and added garlic, spicy chicken and extra ricotta. The menu stated " ALL calzones come with mozzarella and ricotta." The waitress, took my order and my companion's order, then she came back and told me that although the menu stated that " all calzones come with mozzarella and ricotta " that the veggie one did not. She said it was a typo. Why am I responsible for your typo? I decided not to order anything and just sit with my friend while she ate.. the waitress came back about five minutes later and said that they would honor the menu and give me the ricotta. So, instead of leaving, I ordered my calzone. That might have been one of the best calzones I ever I had in my life. I will add this restaurant to the list of restaurants that I make sure I visit whenever I come into town. Great selection of slices to choose from. Slices are good sized. I'm a big guy and two filled me up. Nice amount of toppings and nice chewy crispy crust. Easy ordering, just go to the counter and tell the person what you want. They toss it in a raging hot oven and ring you up. Nice warm box with your choices are given to you and your on your way. Far more satisfying than any fast food and probably cheaper. I'll definitely keep Antonio's in mind for a good quality and good tasting meal. read more

I loooove Antonio's Pizza! They have pizzas with a lot of fun toppings - the avocado quesadilla one is probably my favorite. They have so so many vegetarian pizzas to choose from, and some good apps like the fried green beans. Also, their cheese pizza is great! We sat on their patio but there is also a ton of seating inside. I like Antonio's because you can always order by the slice, too. Their Amherst location is hot spot for lunch (and after the bars) because of this. Yumm! read more

To sit down took half the girl staff in the kitchen to find a seat when spots everywhere. Took awhile for service & drinks than didnt get whole order- missed a whole pizza! Never asked how food was or if needed anything until too late. No discount for her knowing she did a bad job, managers should be told about it. read more

I typically will get take out from here instead of eating in only because it gets so busy and loud. Otherwise, the food is amazing. I love the slices option so I can get a couple different kinds. Worst experience at Antonio's. Ever. To the point we will not be back. 3 dinners, drinks and an appetizer later with one meal being returned immediately after being sat down. The chicken Parmesan dinner has always been my go to. Lovely piece of chicken and a good portion of pasta, enough I could make 2 meals from. Tonight it was a soggy breaded frozen chicken piece that was large enough for a chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant. $15 for THAT?! I asked the e waitress to take it away which I never do. She offered to have the manager come over to which no one ever did. My family all ate their meals while I sat with my soda. The waitress came once as a fly by and then I had to ask another waitstaff to find ours for the bill. A tremendous take away service which everyone inside seems to be focusing on that. When we arrived only 3 other tables were filled. Just terrible experience. Now I'm off to MCD's :/ read more

Antonio's is nice. It has a casual atmosphere and is a comfortable place. We mostly get takeout, 2 pizzas (1 cheese and 1 with sausage), 2 salads with blue cheese and an order of meatballs. The salads are big, fresh and really good. The pizza is great for this neck of the woods. It is not quite on the money if you are a pizza head from NY/NJ metro area as we are but we do really like it and feel lucky it is here. If you are from NY/NJ you understand. I am a long time takeout by the slice customer, which never disappoints. Chicken Bacon Ranch (CBR) is my go-to. However, this time, I decided to eat in. On the menu, I saw they had burrito bowls with protein choices of chicken, shrimp, or steak. I ordered the chicken. I know "a burrito bowl at a pizza joint", but YES!!! It was probably the best one I have ever eaten. It was very fresh and tasty, and the portion was huge. So much so that I had enough leftover for another meal. This branch of Antonio's is good for a few reasons. First, it's got the same Pizzas as the original Antonio's location - including the Sicilian pizzas (my favorite). it's got plenty of space and is a proper sitdown restaurant, complete with pastas, sides, salads, and dessert. You can grab a ready-made slice and sit down for drinks, or get a custom pie with whatever you want. The ambiance is a bit calmer that the cramped Amherst location, but still has a lively vibe. I'm a fan of sitting outside on their patio when there's good weather. Location is convenient, though sometimes finding parking can be tough on a weekend night. I called to order pizza and soda around 6:30 pm for kids dinner and kids followed up where's the pizza at 7:55 pm. it's one and half hour waiting so I called them. They said that the delivery will be here for another 20-25 mins, because they either forgot to prepare my order and they only have 2 driver. Deeeeeelicious!! We had the Florentine, a full Vegetarian with no cheese for our vegans, fries & meatball sliders (for the non-vegans, natch!!) and y'all -- that is some goooooood eats! We also had lovely interactions with employee Marie & manager Dawn. Two stellar reps of Antonio's Pizza; they're smart, kind & have excellent customer service skills. I'm upgrading my review from four stars to five. I crave Antonio's regularly. The truffle fries call to me from beyond. The white pizza, the siracusa, the avocado quesadilla, the truffle fries. I haven't tried the other signature pizzas because I keep going back to what I know works. I really have to take the leap and try the other pizzas sometime. They've expanded their space with a tented section that's open even in winter, so that's good because they're doing booming business and even during busy times you can (usually) get a table. I just want them to get better water, or at least a decent filter. Their water tastes like pipes and it's pretty gross. read more

I am going to start this review by saying I haven't ordered pizza here in at least a year and a half now that I don't live in Belchertown anymore...and smelling the chicken bacon ranch in my car going home felt so right tonight! Haha! I've had many of their pizzas-- my favorites are chicken bacon ranch, chicken/avocado quesadilla, chicken parm, margarita, and buffalo chicken. Steak taco and beef taco are also legit. This place is definitely a bit more expensive than a typical pizza joint but it's very worth it. The location in Belchertown is super nice, and ALWAYS busy. I've dined in only once, but we had a nice experience. When you go to pick up, they have a separate person cashing you out vs seating you, so it helps to keep things organized. And if you have been to the original Antonio's in Amherst, you know they have quite the pizza by the slice business--the Belchertown location also has this as well if you just want a quick bite. We go to Antonio's about every two weeks and really love their pizza by the slice selections. We also enjoy their draft beer selection, especially blueberry beer with actual blueberries floating in it. We went for the first time on a Tuesday early evening and ordered our usual drinks and picked out our slices. We also ordered wings that are advertised as being half price on Tuesdays. They were out of bone in which we normally get so we ordered boneless but were told they were not half price. That didn't set well with us because there was no stipulation made on the menu board. Not really a good thing for customer service. The saving grace to all of this is that our waitress, Morgan, was so pleasant and attentive. All the wait staff is really good.....except for the hostess that is supposed to be a welcoming face for the restaurant. All the times we have been there she seems to not want to be there. Anyway, food is very good, staff for the most part excellent. One small gripe, is that their epic margarita is overpriced. Sorry to go on and on. I'm pretty sure we will never come here again. (belchertown) Management doesn't know how to manage. I got a pizza with about a thimble full of sauce! Awful. The manager came and said "well, every pizza gets different amounts of sauce." I told her I could not eat the pizza. She shrugged. She said she would get me another. It was SWIMMING in sauce. We've been here many, many times...always enjoyed our meal. Today ..not so much. I'm not sure if it's because of the time of day, we usually come at night, or if they've just gone downhill since last time we were here. My daughter ordered fries and we got the kettle chips with onion dip to start. The fries weren't cooked all the way through, and you could tell they were frozen. And have always had great takeout pizzas. BUT those dinners are now mediocre. Chicken parmigiana has bland unseasoned sauce that is tasteless. Just buy some Ragu or Barisal or something!!! Customer service was horrible pizza wasn't made to order because of a technicality we had to pay for cold pizza that wasn't how it was ordered for reference we ordered bbq chicken pizza there wasn't any sign of bbq anything pizza sauce instead of bbq sauce and when we informed them of the mistake only for her to repeat the order which I replied who puts pizza sauce on a bbq chicken pizza went in to pay she says it'll be a couple more minutes 30 minutes later I check again and they pull it off a shelf where it was cold so highly do not recommend very poor way to run a business read more

YOOOOOOO this is some good pizza... and that's saying something coming from someone who is usually "meh" about a slice of pie. Antonio's reminds me of an old haunt of mine in college called No Anchovies (Tucson, AZ), in that you can order pizza by the slice, get a beer, hang out on the patio and relish a balmy spring afternoon. Atmosphere: -comfortable, relaxed bar and restaurant with both indoor and patio seating, plus to-go pizza slices with its own cashier -casual date OK (nice ambiance, but not over-the-top fancy) -clean, single-stall restrooms Service: -hostess greeted me right away and directed me to the pizza-by-the-slice to-go station -one of the servers at the to-go station patiently explained to me all of the different pizza types they had available (there's no signage and I wasn't given a menu) -overall, very friendly and helpful employees Food: -I ordered two slices, one was the avocado quesadilla pizza and the other was the buffalo chicken pizza. I would DEFINITELY order either (or both) again. Their slices are pretty large and heavy with toppings; it was plenty of food for my dinner. *burp* -the flavor was fantastic. I was kind of unsure about the avocado quesadilla, but it ended up being really, really good! Almost better than most of the plates New Englanders call "Mexican!" The buffalo chicken pizza was spicy, but had terrific savory flavor balancing out the heat. Price: -I could have docked a star here, but... the 'Za was just too good. Antonio's is a bit pricey in my opinion, especially when ordering by the slice. My order of two slices and a Coke came to $10, plus I gave them a tip for being so awesome at their job. I think the "gourmet" slices probably cost a little more than the standard pep and cheese, but come on... this means the slices were probably $4 a pop! A bit steep for a bite of lunch. Since Antonio's is just down the street from where I work, I'm sure I'll be back again and again. They've got terrific food, employees with great attitudes, and a bar. And a patio. Yup, another pizza shop in Belchertown. But this one is different and a welcome addition to our little pizza-on-every-block hamlet. So new it's not even on Antonio's website yet. For you locals, it's located in the old Apollo's-then Saporito's spot near Stop & Shop, and they have done a really nice build out and totally changed the exterior facade. It features a large patio, a full bar, table service, and plenty of knowledgeable, friendly staff. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the location, there's a private parking lot with easy in/out from Rte 9. We stopped in for some slices to go. Three of them came to about $10, and we sampled the avocado quesadilla, chicken quesadilla and buffalo chicken. First bites of all were fantastic...crunchy thin crust, clever flavors. My one complaint was that by the time I got about half way through a slice, the flavor excitement wore off and things started to get very dry. Boyfriend concurred. Perhaps that's the price we pay to keep the crunchy crust, and next time I'll make a point of having a drink handy. 5 for originality, 5 for being in Btown, 5 for the awesome staff, 5 for taking your time and getting it right, 3 (3.5?) for the pizza that left my mouth like a desert. I am a huge fan of the Amherst location which is a hole in the wall with minimum seating and maximum heart. This is more of a sit-down restaurant BUT it does have an area to just grab a slice. We stopped in on our way back to Boston for a slice and it was fast and easy as good as pizza gets. There is even a small area to sit to eat that quick slice. The restaurant was really busy as well so they must be something right! read more

Can't beat the pizza by the slice or the wings! but, they did something awesome for us that you don't usually see at pizza places: Antonios in Belchertown did an amazing job hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner! The Belchertown location has a nice side room with several booths and can easily host 25 people. First off, the place just looked great. They had a bucket of ice for wine, and a couple pitchers of beer that were being constantly refilled. The staff was SUPER attentive and we never had to ask or wait to have plates cleared or get more bottles of wine. The pizza of course was fresh, and they kept it coming as we needed more. One thing they don't seem to advertise much is they're seafood pizza, which is AMAZING. Shrimp and crabmeat (fake crabmeat, but that stuff is actually whitefish so its still real seafood) and butter and I think some dill. No red or white sauce, doesn't need it. read more
