Great place to come for some dessert after dinner, especially on a hot summer day. Antonio's Ice Cream is Connie tell located right nearby the Hampton Inn on Buckley Rd, next to Emmi's Farm. Line moved quickly and they take both cars and cash. After some deliberation, I went with the Brownie Blitz flavor, and got a "small" scoop on a cone. "Small" because it's still a great amount of ice cream! I got handed the cone within a couple minutes of ordering, and went to town on it. Ice cream was rich and creamy, and the chunks of brownies added great texture. 4.5/5

Large Soft serve with PEANUT BUTTER Dip

AMPLE sized Soft Serve and Hard Ice Cream (Perry's of New York) served here! In walking distance to the Tru by Hilton Hotel, we were interested in exploring the ice cream scene in Syracuse, NY, so off we went! Yelp directions are a little off, just know it's right behind the Sunoco Gas Station, connected to Emmi's Farm Market. Open 12p-10p daily. Not crowded on this cloudy day so GOOD for us! Lots of options to choose from, regular and sugar free options abound! Sooo hmmm... SOFT SERVE TWIST with PEANUT BUTTER DIP: Never seen a peanut butter dip EVER (I'm from California, don't hate lol) so HAD TO jump on that! Went with a Large Orange Sherbet/Vanilla Twist and it was delightfully tall! Nice creamy texture for the soft serve. Both flavors were spot on. That peanut butter dip tho... Yummy YUMMY!!! Next time it'll be chocolate & vanilla twist, as the PB Dip didn't sync as well with orange sherbet. DEATH BY CHOCOLATE SMALL SCOOP: Perry's Hard Ice Cream Brand served here! (New York Brand that started in Akron, been around over 100yrs!) Their "single" scoop here looks more like a traditional double at big chain spots... WE WIN! This delight has a robust chocolate flavor that has a wonderfully creamy texture with Chocolate covered almonds, chocolate truffles, and fudge chunks mixed in! Mmmmm... chocolate! Loved every bite of this! Easy recommendation! Staff was all smiles, friendly, and gladly answered all questions. No bananas today, unfortunately, or else I woulda jumped at the chance to try their "upside down Banana Split!" Definitely will hit this again in the future. Ice Cream ALL DAY!!

    Two truly large larges.

Antonio's is about as simple as it gets, even for an ice cream stand. Hard ice cream is Perry's, and they offer about a dozen flavors. They have the standard line up of soft serve, and it's made the same as any other place that doesn't put their own spin on it or mess it up. We looked through the menu and nothing seemed to stand out. Standard sundaes with standard flavors, everything here is about as average as it gets. One thing I will say is they don't mess around with the serving sizes here. We ordered larges and we each got a mountain of ice cream on our cones. Sprinkles rolled on for maximum coverage, all is good there. It's also the first time in a while we paid under $10.00 for two ice creams, even larges with sprinkles. Oh, and they gave us bowls that actually fit the ice cream (despite the monster portion sizes) so we could take them home. It's crazy how places will give you bowls that don't fit the ice cream they gave you. If you're not looking for anything specific, this place is fine. We probably won't be back, but only because there are dozens of places closer to us.

Antonio's Ice Cream serves...ice cream ! I like soft ice cream and I can appreciate a when one is prepared with proper texture, flavor and sweetness. I tried the old standard, a small cone with chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream. I asked for a small because, I have had small cones the size of an aircraft carrier served to me in Syracuse. This one came in slightly smaller. It was only $2.20. I didn't stop to take pictures of the cone because I wanted to eat it and not watch it melt. Well, it was a very enjoyable tasty cone. They have a large menu of shakes sundaes, cups, etc... and different flavors. I 'll have to try them again soon before they close for the season !

It's weird how you can live a life in fully devoted to getting ice cream whenever possible from…read morewherever possible and still find new places like this. I don't think this place has been around long at least, but we definitely missed in its prime this season. It's kind of tucked away on Nottingham in the Drumlins building. We tried to come here last Sunday. Their posted hours had them opening hours ago, but they were closed. We cried and cried, regrouped, and went to Carvel. They were open the next time we tried a few days later. It seems like a small setup and one-man operation, with a dozen or so flavors of Hershey's hard ice cream and standard soft serve. It's the last week of the season, so they were kind of winding down. I love Fall, but it's sad watching the ice cream places dwindle down once they've stopped re-ordering. And all the best flavors go first. I got a banana pudding sundae and added peanut butter sauce, because peanut butter banana. The banana pudding made a great sundae, and they put something that served as pie crust at the bottom. I wish I'd thought to slow down and see what it was, because it was incredible, but I ate it as quickly as possible. They don't seem to have a ton of selection on the regular menu (maybe they do specials when they're going full speed during the season), but I'd come back to try at least half the sundaes I saw if they're made as well as the one I had. My girlfriend got a milkshake and used banana pudding ice cream, and a scoop of peanut butter ice cream (I forget the name of it). It was an average milkshake she said, but the pb cup pieces in the ice cream and crunch coat added on top made it better. We threw in a counter cookie at the last minute. It was a lot bigger, but I'd compare the taste and consistency to a Wegman's chocolate chunk cookie. Soft and kind of chewy but with a super consistent texture. They're homemade, but have a less than homemade feel to them if that makes sense. We were extremely hungry and taking our ice creams home, so this was to keep us alive for the drive home. I'd have to see some compelling specials or be right in the area to come back here. It's better than a bare bones ice cream stand, but not enough to pull me in from the distance I drove to try it.

Nice servers, big portions of great ice cream! With two two-year-old grandkids who loved it too!read more

I strongly believe that if you own and/or work in a service capacity that wouldn't typically allow…read morepets, you should be VERY aware of Service Dog rules. I tried to go into this establishment with my service dog and the woman said "no dogs allowed" when I responded that he was a service dog, she looked at the man working said "where's his vest". I said he wasn't obligated to wear one to which the woman responded "my allergies". I felt very unwelcome and I put the dog in my car and came back to tell them that not all disabilities were visible and their actions made me feel incredibly unwelcome and distressed. To which, the they chuffed while the customers laughed and the man said "all I did was ask you where his vest was". No sir, that's not all you did. It's really easy to Google the laws and to see that you can ask questions, ones that I will happily answer when done in a way that feels respectful. All I wanted was ice cream man!

I wanted the speciality hot fudge sundae but it wasn't on the board but she said no problem she would make it in the bigger container and put a lot of fudge throughout it. It was amazing!! A large amount of ice cream and the hot fudge was delicious. They have a small seating area inside and a few small tables outside. It's a destination for me because it's like a 45 minute drive. Whenever I'm in the area I will for sure stop in!!!
