When I moved out here in December 2025, I was understandably concerned about how my hair would look with a new stylist and whether I would find someone (it took me a few years to find the right person in NYC). I booked an appointment with Antonio and I am so glad that I did! He listened to my concerns, took the shape of face and hair type into consideration and gave me this amazing haircut that is growing out beautifully! He was such a pleasure to work with. I will be booking with Antonio from now on. For my color, Antonio referred me to Mackenzie, who gave me this wonderful color that I absolutely love, a wonderful dark caramel color. I wanted to just even up the tone of my hair, and instead I got my scalp and hair burnt. Their colorist Carmen deliberately and without any doubts used 40 volume peroxide on my hair. To me it seemed to be pure envy. I couldn't even express my complains to the salon owner. I highly NOT recommend this salon and Carmen. Very disappointed. Had a hair cut yesterday. The hair dresser I selected had one of most expensive haircuts for $125. I was very disappointed with haircut outcome. I thought he is so experienced and I could trust him. I ask him to trim my ends to make both sides equal. Naturally one side is always thinner and grows slowly. I ended up with 6-7 inch shorter hair. I ask for side curtain bang. And honestly I could cut this by myself. Now I can't even style it cuz it's too short and chopped. Check the photo He told me some treatment will help my split ends. It was rushed and he didn't even told me the price. Assuming I am ok with overpaying. Treatment was spraying something on my hair and he left me for 5 min. Seriously? I found out at checkout it was $50 what????? Also, I came out without any volume and my hair was greasy from hair spray. Even my husband touched my hair it was so greasy on the top. I ended up washing my hair next morning! There was no hair styling whatsoever my hair was straight and no volume. Just not what I expected paying $180 ( with 20% discount as first time customer) had to remind about discount at checkout. Highly recommend Lizzie! Got a full balayage and cut with Lizzie. She took the time to listen to what I was interested in and also provide her own recommendations. She did a great job in getting the exact results I was looking for, while taking extra care to keep my hair healthy. Note -- I had to go back to get my hair color darkened since because the first time around it was too light and was clashing with my skin tone. (My appointment was late in the evening at my request and was before day light savings. Without enough daylight it was hard for me to tell if the shade suited my brown skin.) Antonio's is amazing... because there you will find my all-time favorite stylist, Lizzie. My go-to girl for all of my hair troubles, desires and needs! She always gives the best recommendations and I trust her FULLY to do whatever the heck she wants to do with my hair every time -- even if she wanted to chop it all off (not that she would tell me to do that haha) -- because I know it would turn out great and that she always does whatever is best for her clients. Specifically for me, she knows I like to be low-maintenance, so she finds the best manageable but on-point style possible based on that, my face shape, my hair health, and more. She has intimate knowledge of hair, products and styling from all of her in-depth training & YEARS of experience in the industry, and on top of that her honesty makes me trust her that much more. Her precision, dedication and thoroughly detailed work from start to finish draw me back every time because she treats it like an art and not just a job. I know everyone that sees her leaves more than satisfied, and if for some crazy reason they are not, she would take it upon herself to work with them until they were. I recently had an appointment with Raquel after not having touched my hair in over 18 months. I had been nervous about attending a salon in these strange times, but Antonio salon is on top of it. They took my temperature immediately upon entering and asked about any symptoms. I didn't encounter other guests in the waiting area so social distancing wasn't an issue. I never felt crowded or uncomfortable my entire appointment! Kudos to Antonio salon. Their space is also open and airy with large windows to let the light in and I could take a nap in their washing station chairs :). As for my stylist, Raquel, she nailed it! I have had fun colored hair in the past but didn't want the maintenance and upkeep of vibrant fashion colors this time around. I like the color blocking trend happening, so she helped me figure out shades that complimented my skin tone but still had the drastic dual tone I was going for (and stayed closed to my natural so the grow out won't be too noticeable). I'm obsessed. She nailed the color and gave me a nice healthy refresh cut. I can change my whole look depending on my mood. Updated review: I originally gave 4 stars yesterday due to a minor inconvenience I had (not related to that actual cut or overall salon). The owner called today and explained the situation and made sure I knew that he is happy to assist in making sure I am 100% satisfied. I appreciated the phone call and his effort in making sure I was happy. The salon itself was beautiful. All the clients seemed very happy. I booked an appointment with the owner because I was cutting 8 inches off and I'm very picky with my hair. When I first got in, he examined my hair and gave me his advice on how I should cut my hair and if I do decide to cut it shorter, the responsibility it would take to maintain it aka I need to spend time styling it. Really loved my haircut! The owner is a very interesting man with clearly a ton of experience. He does not let just any designer come in and work, you need to be specially trained before you can actually cut hair which is really neat. Anyone in that salon would probably give a stellar haircut and I will definitely be back! read more

She was so personable and great to talk with during my appointment which made it relaxing and something to look forward to for the next time. Not only did Hanna cut my hair for a realistic trim but added in functional layers to my hair type that make sense. Evan's cut my hair three times (men's cut) and with all three cuts, I waited at least 30 minutes from the scheduled time. This most recent cut, I received a call that Evan was running 15 minutes late, ended up sitting in the waiting room another 15 minutes and was still working on someone else's hair. I get it for a Supercuts that timing isn't perfect as walk-in's are the primary, but this was a $100+ cut scheduled two weeks in advance (and 3/3 for delays of 30 minutes+). I should have just left at the 30 minute mark. This said, I received a shampoo from another person. While I appreciate the time put into the shampoo, you could tell they were milking the clock as Evan was still working on the other person's hair. The prior time, Evan put me in a hair drying station for 10 minutes plus and was working on another client. By the time I sat down in the chair, Evan was finishing up with the other client and the time was 6:42pm, this was with a 6pm appointment. When Evan go to me, he was apologetic (like the 3 previous times). After a quick discussion, he starts cutting. Fast forward 8 minutes, and he's done with the cut. No styling, no drying, no finishing touches, really just a trim. It was obvious to me that he was trying to get out of salon before 7pm. I waited 5x as long as the cut took, and that's just disappointing. The cut was okay, I walked out with wet hair, so didn't even have a good idea of what it looked like until I went home and towel dried my hair. If I receive a full service cut that I would have expected, no biggie on the wait. This said, to see him working on the finishing touches for 40 minutes on the client before and spend 8 minutes with me highlights a double standard on treatment of clients (maybe it's the men's cut). I'm giving two stars as the cut was okay, not great, not horrible, but the minus three stars is that the service doesn't align with cost and expectations. This isn't coming from a one time customer, this is someone who has tried the same stylist three times and received the same level of service. read more

I took the advice of 2 friends with gorgeous hair and got my hair cut here last Thursday. First of all, everyone is very friendly. Also, they are taking all possible COVID precautions which is so appreciated. I was the only person in the waiting area, they took my temp upon entry and asked about any symptoms. I was spaced well for my haircut also. Edward was phenomenal and kind and I truly love my haircut! He also used an awesome scalp serum for my itchy scalp that worked immediately. When I came in, we discussed the game plan for the evening, and then she started the very long, 4 hour process of lightening my hair. She decided to work on an experimental "flamboyage" method, which turned out a little streaky for my tastes... I think this wouldn't be an issue if you book with one of the professionals there though. Location: The salon is gorgeous! Super bummed with my experience. I have dark brown hair, almost black. I needed a trim and dye to cover my overgrown grays. I told my stylist my request and told her just a trim. No layers. No warmth in the color. Just give me the color I already have and cut my split ends off. The brown she used on my hair is so light and she only did the roots so now I have a dark layer / light/bronze layer / and then my dark roots growing out. I have pretty thick hair and she cut so many layers into my hair that it looked thin in some places. 100% not what I asked for. I understand my request may be boring and not on trend but I know what I like. While I was getting my hair done she mentioned she was trying to be off that day so maybe she was just already checked out. read more

TL;DR Evan H. is the greatest colorist, stylist, and human being there has ever existed! My husband and I both see Evan as our hair guru and we have never been in better hands! Evan is the most detailed hair stylist and takes the time to ensure your haircut is 110% of what you expected, and then some. He has made such a transformation with my husband's hair that now he's getting hollered at down the street! I started going to Lizzie at Antonio Salon about two years ago. I had lived in Seattle for 18 months already and had been to 4 different hair stylists, trying to find the right one in my new home. I felt like I couldn't trust anyone and I found I was spending way too much money other places only to feel disappointed in the final outcome of my hair. Then I found Lizzie. Lizzie is kind and light hearted. She is so easy to talk to for three hours as you sit in a chair to be pampered. Most importantly, Lizzie's style and eye for hair is impeccable. About 3.5 years ago I went platinum blonde for the first time, a decision I made in lieu of exploring opportunities in fashion modeling. I made leaps and bounds in my career while owning this new look but it was always really stressful finding someone to do a platinum blonde bleach and tone PROPERLY. She listened to me, and after expressing I wanted: 1) something that wouldn't require too much maintenance (blow dry and go), 2) a bit more accentuated blonde tones, and 3) a healthy trim without taking off too much length, she delivered just that. I had a regular salon I was going to previously for 5 years, my stylist and I had a great relationship, and I trusted her completely. When I moved back to Seattle, I low key panicked. It's hard to find a good salon here! I scoped out dozens of salon places, reviews, stylists, etc. before deciding to come here. Lots of people recommended Myam for textured hair! She did such a great job. Really welcoming and gave me so many tips to help maintain my hair. Kenneth -- The brightest shining star of all, rising above the consistently exceptional talent in every single stylist here After an agonizingly long search for the right stylist, I've finally landed in Hair Heaven now that I've found Antonio Salon. I've been to several stylists here and every one of them is 5-star fantastic. This is the rare salon where I would trust anyone to do right by my hair for style and color. That said, discovering Kenneth has been a revelation. He is my shining star here. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I was very fortunate to happen to come in for a desperately needed bang trim after needing to cancel my regular appointment. Kenneth had just arrived in Seattle and was wisely snatched up by Antonio. The timing of my visit could not have been better. The first haircut was excellent, and I recently I returned for a second. My hair is challenging, with several distinct textures, all of them wavy and fairly thick. And my many cowlicks create a crazy making mess when cut incorrectly. Kenneth cut my hair dry (a first for me) and was meticulous in evaluating the weight with every snip of his scissors. The result has been the most consistently beautiful style I've ever had, while remaining completely casual and easy to care for. I can blow dry it or leave it completely alone to dry on its own. It looked fantastic the day of the cut, and it continues to be phenomenal. There is usually a section or two of my hair that wants to create "wings" that I thought I was stuck with no matter how good the cut. But Kenneth's attention to weight and texture completely eliminated them. The only change I would make is that Kenneth currently works only two days a week, which makes scheduling with him a little tricky for me. But now that I've been spoiled by his work, I will modify my schedule to accommodate his. The environment is down to earth.
