Stopped by for a drink and snack while wandering around Tulsa on a Saturday. We are gluten free so our options were limited to a muffin or cheese puffs. Not a big fan of the cheese puffs, not sure if they were dry? Or just needed to be heated up but they were very "rubber" like. But when you are hungry you will eat anything... All of the non gluten free items did look delicious though :( the interior is beyond beautiful, with accents of gold and chandeliers... I don't know if it's the demand for increased pies that causes the quality to decline on pie night but for the second straight pie night visit I have been thoroughly disappointed. Antoinette's has opened in its new location in the Brady District, and it's better than ever! We all know how amazing their pies, macaroons and pastries are, so today I will wax poetic about their Biscuits du jour. In the new location more "meal" options are being offered in addition to the delicious baked treats. Breakfast and lunch specials are always changing and always fantastic. But those biscuits! Imagine the best biscuit you ever ate. Then imagine it was at least 78% more flaky, rich and flavorful. This is a crumbly biscuit, doubtless with an astronomical fat quotient. But the results are so worthwhile. Crispy edges, and buttery goodness make the biscuit a treat all on its own. But then the kitchen elves pile more deliciousness inside: rustic sausage with apple or apricot, goat cheese with sour cherries, butternut squash with chèvre. It is a refined and satisfying breakfast sandwich that is crave worthy to say the least. (Proof: I've craved it 4 times this week) The new space is also beautiful and welcoming with comfortable French flair. I fear that on busy days, the seating area will already prove to be too small for the demand. Coffee and espresso drinks are also on the menu, as well as weekend mimosas, (today's was grapefruit hibiscus). It's a Great place to dine in, or pick up treats to-go for any occasion. I feel super sad to be giving Antoinette's only 3 stars. First, their instagram is amazing. Props to whoever manages that. That is what made me run to this bakery when I moved to Tulsa. But I have been 3 times and am disappointed every. single. time. (sad face). I did like the coconut donut. But I have had the cinnamon roll, cupcakes, macaroons, chex mix, cookies and the crack bar- the CRACK bar!! And they were all quite tasteless to be honest. Sounds crazy right? That's why I have gone 3 times and had so many items because I can't believe it. I am also disappointed in the service. I find that every time the staff is half listening to me and I have to repeat myself many times. My husband and I dropped in after hearing a lot of nice things about this bakery. We each had a yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting, a coffee and a latte. It was good that we ordered beverages because the cupcakes were very dry and hard. No, they weren't frozen, they were just old. The drinks were very good and the employees very friendly and helpful. Absolutely delicious and excellent customer service! I was volunteering for Mayfest and our opening time was delayed an hour because of bad weather. I decided to grab some breakfast and typed "bakeries" into my GPS. Antoinette Baking Company was only a 5 minute walk away, so I decided to check it out. During my trip there, the light rain turned into a downpour. I arrived completely drenched. My eyes were burning because my mascara had dripped into them. The woman behind the counter immediately handed me a towel to try to dry myself off a bit and made sure I was alright. I got the vegetarian breakfast sandwich and it was incredible. The menu had icons next to each item, indicating options that were vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, or could be easily altered to fit these dietary needs. As a newer vegetarian, I really appreciated how easy this made it to order something I could eat. It's been an hour since I walked there and my clothes are still completely damp, my makeup is ruined, my hair looks like I stepped recently stepped out of the shower, but honestly, I don't regret it one bit. I recently popped into Antoinette's new location for a sweet treat. It wasn't hard to find, but the only sign you see from the side says "Bakery"-- not Antoinette's--so keep an eye out. I went around 3pm on a Saturday, and the pickin's were pretty slim. I saw no pie, no cake by the slice, and no macarons. The girl behind the counter said what I saw was what they had. I settled for the Twixette bar and some sort of shortbread with chocolate and caramel chips topped with baked meringue. To be honest, neither of my selections were particularly great. Maybe I just got what others have figured out are the least popular. I love pie and would really like to try theirs sometime. Sounds like the best time to go is on pie night (and in fact may be the only time to get pie by the slice?). I've heard it gets quite busy. One thing I thought was interesting is there is a sign at the new location that says you need to make sure there's a seat available before you order, but you're not allowed to hold your seat before ordering. So...not sure what you do if that seat you scoped out gets taken before you get your order in. I'm hoping this isn't actually a problem in practice. Still 4 stars for concept and effort. read more

Not satisfied with the company. Condescending attitude. No customer service. We purchased cookies from them at farmers market and my husband asked if they were supposed to be salty. The response was that their chocolate cookies are supposed to taste salty and maybe they should put signage up. No apologies. No care to direct us to another product. I've got to admit, I was a little taken back by the $7+ for 2 brownies....but they were fantastic. I had the cayenne brownie, fully expecting by its name, a little bite. Wow. Jessica (name?) was beyond rude, angrily through the cake in trash, and asked, "I'm not understanding how you want this cake?" "Not burnt," I said. I happened upon this bakery and walked in 15 minutes before it closed. I got a sea salt chocolate chip cookie and a peanut butter cookie. The peanut butter cookie was good, but the sea salt chocolate chip cookie was seriously the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had in my entire life. I want to shout it from the rooftops. Great spot for first class pastries! Nancy and Deb provided a warm greeting and mentioned it was national bacon day. In honor of the holiday they recommend the bacon goat cheese garlic danish. We actually visited this place twice during our 2 day stay. We just happened to see them while we were eating brunch across the street and went to visit. The salted chocolate chip and funfetti cookies were moist and had great flavor. The salted caramel cheesecake was the best cheesecake we ever ate. We liked the desserts so much we went back for dessert after dinner. My husband had his eye on the peanut butter chocolate macaroons. Lesson learned...if you want the macaroons get them early because they sell out. Antoinette's is such a unique and fun experience downtown. I miss them on Brookside but their new location is beautiful. Every time we are downtown for dinner we try to hit pie night. Their Key Lime and Peanut Butter pie are to die for. Don't be fooled into thinking they are only about desserts. Their lunch/brunch are just as delightful. It was pretty delicious, made with eggs, tomato, cheese, and spinach. I've tried their macaron cake-a-ron as well, wasn't too pleased with the frosting. It was bland in my opinion.
