Came with my husband and daughter this morning for the first time, what a great little spot! I ordered the omelette with spinach, avocado and cheese with potatoes, sooo good! My daughter and husband also ordered omelette and were completely satisfied as well. Coffee was good, so was the Cafe Au lait, but in that case it could have been hotter and stronger. I also wasn't fond of the cup, I prefer to have a handle on my cup, it's much easier to hold but that's me. Service was excellent and the servers were very nice . Love this place! read more

Staff was super fun and playful. We were treated nicely and multiple servers were able to help us out. Soothing atmosphere and people were all having a cozy good time! I got the biscuits and gravy and my partner got the veggie melt sandwich. WE WERE STUFFED! I ate my plate in probably 6 minutes, it was so good I couldn't stop. I absolutely recommend this place especially if you have dog with you they have outdoor seating for you. Their food was delicious and their customer service was excellent. We had a group of six including a highchair that Antoine's staff welcomed and accommodated with ease. The lattes were large and the food was so fresh. Nothing was left on the table! I had the avocado bagel that was so delicious with the melted cheddar and tomato that I ordered it again when we returned a few days later. Everything here is simply the best, from the coffee bar, to the French salt on every table, to the friendly service from the same staff that has worked here for years. Everything works like a well-oiled machine and it's a special treat every, single time you go. My son begs to go every chance he can and we are always taken care of by Cassandra, who is one of the delightful servers. She is a special person that makes you feel great from her smile and warm demeanor. Love this place, not only is the food really delicious but the employees are super nice and go out of their way to make sure that you have a good experience. I will definitely be back. Just had brunch at Antoine's for the first time and it was great! We stopped here on our way from Long Beach to San Diego on a recommendation from a friend who eats there every time he surfs San Onofre and he was SO RIGHT! I had a tuna melt, an Arnold Palmer, and a Bellini; all were top notch. Handsome husband had steak and eggs and said it was perfectly cooked. They even had treats for our fur baby & brought him a plain burger patty because "he deserved it" according to our super sweet server. We have decided to stop here every time we trek down to SD to visit our son. It's only 2 blocks off the freeway so is also super convenient, and there's a big parking lot behind the restaurant so no hassle with finding a spot. Perfecto! One delicious breakfast made the perfect way. I chose, one egg, bacon, cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes I also chose a mixture of orange and grapefruit juice that was fresh squeezed and it was so incredible. This restaurant had plenty of tables and booths indoors but it is a rather large area outdoors for the outdoor seating. I love the vibe of the restaurant but I especially loved these two people, Adriana and David. So pleasant, fun, big smiles and carried a lot of warmth in their personalities. First of all, Antoine's is a cute little spot in the middle of San Clemente, so I just knew I had to try it. There was a little wait, but they moved efficiently. Once we got inside, it was a lovely little diner, with a hip yet old school feel. Everyone there was nice and the food came out quickly as well. I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and it did just the trick. The tomatoes, spinach, and hollandaise mixed nicely, and the meal filled me up. Next time I would definitely try the crepes though because they were definitely catching my eye as I walked by other tables. Loved Antoine's! Everyone is so friendly and the portions are big. Adriana took the time to help me order the best gluten free breakfast, and then chatted with us about living in San Clemente. The menu shows several GF options, for breakfast and lunch. I got the breakfast tacos with egg and sausage. The plate came out with three tacos and each had a big slice of avocado on it. Hubby got the breakfast burrito (he loved it) and I ate some of his hash browns. Ask for the homemade salsa if you want extra spice. There's cholula sauce on the table. Everything was fresh and delicious. There are a few tables for outdoor seating if you get there early enough. People were coming in and ordering coffees and meals to-go. 10/10. First time here. A friend who lives in the area recommended that we eat here. I got the sunrise bagel and a side of biscuits and gravy. Having originally worked in her family's restaurant in France at the age of fifteen, our owner decided to continue sharing her love of food with the San Clemente community by serving a delicious selection of breakfast and lunch items. Established in 1991.

Started by husband and wife, Antoine and Veronique, Antoine's Cafe has been a local favorite for twenty years. Over the years the family business has grown and now includes two additional businesses in downtown San Clemente. The Red Fox Lounge (RFL) is next door to Antoine's and is a San Clemente institution. Their son, Antoine Jr. runs Cafe Mimosa, a classic French Bistro on Avenida del Mar.

They are always busy and I don't blame them. Now that I work up the street, I'm making it my mission to treat my staff at work with some of these heavenly goods. Services were quickly, lots of staff and I'm just amaze how fast they work. Food. OMG! It was crispy and fluffy, the layers and THE CUSTARD....I could eat a whole jar of it if I could. Made my staff pretty happy on the sweet treat, and to some a better day. The pastries I got was a mixed berry bateau (2) and (1) Limoncello Tiramisu (DEVINE). Can't wait to come and for more. 10/10

I happened to be seated nearby during an interaction with a group of women who were openly rude and condescending toward her from the start. Despite that, she remained calm, polite, and handled herself with grace. If anything, she showed remarkable composure under unnecessary pressure. Service jobs aren't easy, and it's disappointing when unfair situations get misrepresented online. Based on what I personally observed, Tatum did nothing but her job and did it well. He did not rush us and checked on us regularly and kept our water glasses full. Between the four of us we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, three fresh Mahi Mahi blackened fish sandwiches. There are many side choices. We had the very yummy crispy fries and the tomatoes with blue cheese - so good. The sandwich and side was a huge portion. I had to eat it deconstructed as it was piled high with blackened fish, coleslaw, tomato, onion rings, fresh micro greens, tartar sauce all on a fresh grilled brioche bun. The sliced prime rib French dip was a home-run. The roll was toasted yet soft. The prime rib tender and flavorful served with Au jus (good enough to eat with a spoon or sip from the bowl). AJ made sure we had plenty of ketchup and ranch for the fries and creamed horseradish for the dip sandwich. My father was given a dreamy chocolate cake and card signed by everyone to celebrate his birthday. The dreamy cake was moist filled with chocolate chips and covered it a to-die-for chocolate ganache. We had an 11:15 reservation and the large restaurant and bar was filled up by noon. There were many celebrations going on around our table. San Clemente is a great coastal town and Nick's is equally as wonderful.
