It is the cutest little cafe tucked inside a beautiful historic building. They have a great assortment of pastries, breakfast, and lunch items to choose from. I decided to try the Turkey Focaccia, and it was fantastic! The focaccia bread itself was super soft, and it came with a MOUND of perfectly thin shavings of turkey. I also got the chicken salad on the side, and I loved that they included huge grapes in it! It added the perfect little crunch and sweetness. This place is a total gem. Surprisingly nutty (in a good way, *wink wink*). It didn't punch me in the throat with acidity, which I appreciate as someone who wants caffeine, not hostile combat. It's the kind of cold brew that says, "I'm stable. I've been to therapy. I am no longer bitter." Service was friendly and easygoing. No weird vibes. No barista existential dread projected onto me. Just solid, pleasant human interaction. 10/10 for that. Now. The patio. Love that it's dog-friendly. My pup was living her best life, greeting kind patrons. I, however, was trying to pretend I was a productive academic gremlin (with *aesthics*), and the WiFi was... aspirational. Let's just say it builds character. Great for touching grass. Not great for uploading Zoom sessions. (this was on the patio tho, indoors, it might slap harder than.. a correctly timed bass drop) Overall: great little spot. I'm very impressed by the biscuits and gravy. Some of the best gravy i've ever had. Very flavorful. Plus the Biscuits had a beautiful crisp on the edges so they never got soggy. One detail I admired was the chilled water glasses instead of using ice. This just leveled the experience up a few notches. I'm surprised how quickly we were seated considering it was a Saturday around 10 when we arrived. Well done! When my husband and I are back in SoCal we will be visiting again.

Parking was definitely busy, cars are always pulling in and out, it can be hard to navigate the small parking lot with big vehicles, trucks! Atmosphere was pleasant, you get the nice breeze from the coast line. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Plan to wait in line around 30 minutes or so just to be safe, and plan for 5 to 10 minutes while you navigate the parking lot. Food was really good to be honest, we did enjoyed our meals, their coffees, and lattes! Definitely a worthwhile visit of you find yourself here around Dana Point!

The green pesto with fresh veggies and squash blossoms was our absolute favorite. And of course you cannot go wrong with the classic margarita pizza... We had their summer tomato, ricotta salad, very fresh and delicious. And nothing goes better with a fresh pizza than a refreshing peach lemonade. I must tell you, make a reservation for these Friday night Pizza event events. There are no walk-ins. Plenty of parking, kid and dog friendly. It's the best way to spend a warm summer evening.

I saw on yelp there was a Tea house. That is what made me walk down the ally. Found the tea house and took a pic. Directly across from there was Ramos house. There wasn't a line. You can tell that the AMs that place will be packed. Food was so good and hit the spot.
