I was between 2 beers which they allowed me to sample since they were on draft and I went with the amber which was delicious. We were not sure what we wanted to eat so we did a few appetizers. The pretzels were ok. They were a little hard for our preference, but had good flavor with the cheese dip. Now the rest of the items we selected were absolutely delicious. My kids at up the bone marrow and we placed a 2nd order since it was so good. They didn't need the bread with the dish since they just enjoyed the marrow and the parsley type spread that came with it. The potato leek soup was also delicious and we really enjoyed it. The pierogies and kielbasa were selected with the fries and they were grilled well (to my preference - some may think it was over grilled). They had TV since some sports on and the restaurant was very clean. We had quick and great service when we were here. We sould come back for sure if we would be in the area just for the soup and marrow!

We made a reservation after giving the place a call a few hours beforehand and being advised it was a good idea. I didn't understand why, since we were almost the only people in there when we arrived--then, suddenly, ten minutes later it was packed! So the reservation was definitely a good idea. Despite how busy they were, our waiter was excellent and very attentive (I'm pretty sure his nickname was Shaq, he gave us his full first name but I completely blanked on it after a few pounders of Montucky's delicious brew). I had the pretzel bites and full-size Caesar salad, and it was more than enough food for me. My friends each got different items; the pierogies looked delicious (maybe it is obvious that I am a fan of appetizers; it's my favorite section of any restaurant menu). Some of us weren't able to finish everything, as the portions were much larger once you started on them than when first eye-balling them. Overall, I greatly enjoyed this visit. I was disappointed at first that my friends wanted to go somewhere other than where we'd been last time, but all concerns melted away once we got to our seats. Bethlehem Barrel & Drafthouse offers some cool atmosphere along with a good selection of drinks, both beer and liquor, and friendly service (thanks again, Shaq! And my apologies if I got your name wrong!).

The wings were the standout, great flavor with G's sauce, which is like a peppery hot sauce. It's not super spicy, but it does have a slight kick. You could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in their menu. He let us sample some of the sauces which was great. I also had the Cowboy bites which were jalapeños with cream cheese, bacon and corn - my goodness they were so good! My bro had the "what came first".
